Omari was just enjoying the morning sunlight as it flickered over the ocean waves. The waves were glistening and beautiful like diamonds and the youngling adored how shiny it was. Most of the family was out and about doing his own thing while he was just lingering around the front of the house, his gaze fixed on the ocean as he sat in one of the wooden swinging chairs on the large porch that wrapped around the stone manor. His mama had asked an artisan to make one for them so that she could sit and enjoy the sunset with his papa when they were both home and things were quiet. Omari personally enjoyed using it to scoot back and forth over and over while waiting on others to wake up in the morning. The youngling was usually relaxed and not a crazy fighter like some of his older siblings but he did enjoy the whooshing movement of the swing.

"One, two, threeee." Omari grinned as he kicked off once again and went backwards before going back into position as the swing reset. It would entertain him for a little bit at least before he went off in search of any of his family members that may still be home and around the manor.

Omari blinked in surprise before coming to a screeching halt in his swinging. "Py-py!" He called out with a wide grin towards his older brother. "Right? It's really fun!" Like usual he was bright and energetic with a nickname for everyone within their household. Today though he may have had a bit too much energy as he bounced out of the swing and raced towards Pynar. "Speakin' of fun....do you have anything to do today?" He asked, tilting his head with interest, his gaze bright and eager as he waited for his brother.

"Nothin'." Replied Omari with a chuckle. "Though I guess that means more room for us to do whatever we'd like!" He added playfully as he glanced back and forth, his gaze searching for anything of interest around the manor or on the beach a few yards ahead of them. Maybe they could just go swimming or play in the sand? He didn't really feel like climbing cliffs today so that was definitely out. Omari tilted his head as he looked back towards Pynar. "Maybe building a huge sandcastle or going into town for sweets?" He offered while waiting to see if his brother had anything else he would rather do instead or if he would agree to Omari's ideas.

"Sweets?" Omari blinked thoughtfully before nodding his head. "Sure! As long as they have those taffy ones that stretch and are super colorful." He chimed with a grin. He adored those and the sweet rolls covered in spiced nuts! It was nice knowing that they could just walk towards the village within less than an hour and come back with lots of stuff! It definitely worked out considering they didn't really have a cook in the family and so his parents or siblings often ordered food from the village or had someone come in a couple times a week to cook a nice formal meal when they had enough people around. "Maybe we can pick up some fresh bread from the bakery with some cheese for tonight too!" He added in, hoping to be helpful as he bounced around Pynar. They could have some bread, cheese and fresh fruits for an evening meal. That sounded good after a long day at the beach!

"Do we need to get anything or should we head out now?" Omari patted down his leggings and straightened his vest before glancing back towards his brother, his expression bright and willing.

"Hopefully!" Omari chimed in with a happy giggle. "I think lots of fruits and maybe some fresh fish would be nice. Mama and Kyril like wine but I'm not allowed to have that yet." He added thoughtfully after a moment. He loved watching them pour their drinks though because of how rich the amber and crimson liquid often looked. That and just spending the evening on the veranda with some freshly cut fish and other snacks made up some of his favorite memories with his family. It was just nice watching the sunset together while sharing a meal, something that Omari absolutely adored. Speaking of things that others adored...Omari pursed his lips thoughtfully. "Some dark chocolates and sugar crunch candies would be nice too for our sisters!" They loved those, especially Kyril! Omari could already imagine holding out the delicately spun sugar in the light so that it could glow with all the different colors.

"Alright!" As Pynar was ready to go so was Omari. The youngling bounced off of the porch without hesitation and darted a few feet ahead before spinning around to face Pynar playfully. "Race ya!" He challenged with a wide grin.

"Fine, fine." Replied Omari though he was bouncing from foot too foot. "Oh! On the way back we can also look for anything cool to decorate our sandcastles with!" He added as an afterthought the idea making his gaze gleam. Omari adored creating things almost as much as he loved dancing. This was going to be so much fun! The youngling waited for Pynar to catch up before counting out loud, "One, two, three and go!" He let out a laugh as he started darting across the sands and down the familiar path that would cut along the upper beach and twist upwards towards the village.

His lungs ached by the time he finally slowed down the village just just along the horizon. Already Omari could see ships floating out in the ocean, the fishermen already hard at work for the day and the haze of smoke from the cooking area of the market was fairly visible along with the delicious smells of families and shops preparing lunches. Smaller huts decorated the edges of the village while an actual open market place with some apartments and stone shops were nestled together around the center square which was bustling with villagers and visitors alike.

"Am I?" Omari's gaze gleamed with happiness at the compliment. He wanted to be super strong with lots of stamina so that he could dance like their mother one day! Even if all of his siblings were amazing fighters and artisans and what not the boy really loved dancing like Shadiya. He just hoped he could manage to perform like her one day and so he pushed himself to practice however he could. Omari could only nod in agreement with Pynar as he too allowed himself to catch his breath, his gaze focused on the ocean as he watched the glistening waters and those on it. The boy did playfully purse his lips at protest at the dread ruffling but mostly it was just a playful protest than him being actually offended since he adored the attention. "Yep! What about you?" Teased Omari with a grin, "Ready to pick up all the things? What if we have a taffy eating contest?" A playful jest because honestly he couldn't imagine eating a lot with the way his body was already so hot and tired from the run but still he did enjoy the idea of competitions.

Still, the youngling did not hesitate to go ahead and start skipping down the cobblestone street and towards the little sweet shop nestled in the corner of the market.

Omari nodded. "I'm sure they'll let you borrow one!" After all his family was pretty well known in the village since his mother and father had settled here over ten years ago. They always came shopping at least once a week for supplies when his mother wasn't in Oba that was. Omari laughed at Pynar's explanation before consenting. "True!" He would much rather enjoy sweets instead of quickly shoving them into his mouth. Though.....maybe he had been guilty of eating a bit too quickly on occasion, especially when he really was craving chocolates or fresh bread.

The shop door chimed whenever Omari entered and he found himself waving to the older Matori who was behind the counter. "Hello!" He called out with a grin before going towards the counter and staring at all of the candies on display. There was so much to pick from! Taffy, chocolates, sugar crisps, cookies, pies and even cakes! Omari could almost feel his mouth watering as he pointed towards a basket of colorful taffy candies. "These first, right?" He asked glancing over his shoulder towards Pynar.
