Though casual, Dane considers herself a connoisseur of martial arts. She is most certainly just the opposite, as she tends to keep her interest to herself. Absorbing the culture through media, through lessons she can find online, and through small efforts to attend fights and showcases of any variety, Dane has a passing knowledge, but deep appreciation, of many different kinds of self defense and offense oriented fighting styles. She attends a small dojo and spends regulated time in her gym at home practicing in an effort to perfect her own form, though she has no real interest in doing anything professional. Still, all this practice takes up a lot of her free time, and she can often be found around town jogging, working out, or even practicing some parkour or inventing moves in the park. She does not, however, like sharing her deep love of bettering herself in this way, and is deeply embarrassed whenever she is caught at it.
Gardening --
Having grown up in a largely vegetarian home, both of her parents being veterinarians and steeped in healthy, fit lifestyles, Dane learned an appreciation for growing things at an early age. She always had a small garden to tend to, with the help of her mom, and now she tends to what she calls her 'farm' in the backyard. She grows a few vegetables each season, and loves to share the fruits, and vegetables, of her labors with her friends and family. When at work or in community areas like the library, she checks in on the potted plants on display and makes sure they are getting well watered and cared for.
Pros: Vine Whip Brave --
Dane faces her troubled head on. She is not afraid of much, and even when she is, she does not let it deter her from doing what she feels she has to do. she is not conventionally scared of many things others might be. Be it snakes, spiders, the dark, or zombie movies and beyond: she is not easily startled or creeped out, and does her best to keep a level head no matter the severity of the situation. She often feels responsible for the people around her, her friends and family, and finds the more uncomfortable or afraid they are the braver she has to be by instinct.
Solar Beam Observant --
Dane absorbs the information around her like a sponge. She does not go out of her way to learn like a more studious type, but rather goes out and experiences the world around her for what it is. All the while, she watches others, and takes copious mental notes about the area around her and the things she is doing. She has a great memory for details, and uses little tricks and plenty of acquired knowledge to navigate her way through her day to day. Even the unfamiliar or brand new experiences are in this way made easier, as she is sure she has at least seen or heard of it somewhere before. Probably.
Cons: Growl Bashful --
Quiet and dutiful, Dane is also very shy when it comes to meeting others or social settings. She does not like going to parties or gatherings, and even finds it hard to come out of her shell when she takes classes or goes to help at the clinic and has to run the counter. She is terrible at meeting strangers and never really knows what to say to someone. While she does have friends, and holds them very dear, it is usually quite a difficult journey for her to feel comfortable enough to open up to someone. Generally a far more outgoing person will come along and augment her efforts, as she most often opts to stay by herself if left to her own devices.
Toxic Temper --
Even someone as apparently even tempered and focused as Dane has a breaking point. She has very specific buttons that can really set her off. If she feels embarrassed or back into a corner she will lash out, mostly verbally, and can get very heated very quickly. She hates being teased or pushed too hard, and bites back venomously when she feels she has no other options. Ultimately, it is just her emotions getting the better of her, this temper flaring more often when she is tired or over-stressed, and she always regrets and frets over these outbursts after the fact. It fuels her desire to temper herself, through her training and her work.

Sarin places both hands on the ground and a wave of sticky grass sprouts in a circle with a ten foot radius around her. It is strong enough to stick to someone's feet and trip them up, though they can pull free of it and stomp their way across the grass field with effort. If someone remains in one spot, the grass will continue to grow, as if trying to reclaim them. It becomes more difficult to move, the longer they are within the field, though growing stops after half a minute, and the grass is easily broken out of. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Time to Mow! The grass field radiating from Sarin extends farther, and grows much quicker than it did before. It creates sticky, tangled brambles of grass and vines that catch enemies and entrap them, keeping them from moving. Much stronger, an enemy will have to put a substantial effort in to freeing themselves, and their range of movement is limited by the quantity of grass growing over them. The more their body is in contact with the magical field, the easier it is for them to be claimed and grown over by it. The magical strength of the grass fades after 45 seconds. Eternal Sailor Attack: From the Earth! Sarin summons magical tendrils of grass, wrapped into thick coils of vines, that circle around her arms and legs and form a natural armor-like set of greaves and vambraces. The grass fortifies her, boosting her attack power and speed, replenishing her physical (not magical) energy and allowing her to fight at her fullest for a solid minute.
