Arsenolite loved patrolling the streets, preying on people like this. Gathering energy to power their cause. He wanted nothing more than to wipe this—this smarmy alien invasion off the face of the planet. He didn't give a single hoot about any of them, just knew that they wanted to take Earth to repopulate their own bullshit. No way was he gonna sit idly by and let that happen, no sir. Lionel might've been more content to rest on his laurels, but Arsenolite—no way. He finally had something to do that made him feel more powerful and like he was affecting real change in the world. Change that would make everything better. And hey, maybe he could clean the town up a little, get some scumbags out of here. (Though his idea of a scumbag was very different from many people's.) Then he detected the aura of a... someone from the ********' crazy alien side, he couldn't tell what it was, and whipped around, eyes scanning the environment with a low growl in his throat. He wouldn't allow whoever it was to stop him from getting his energy tonight.

Imbrium wasn't gonna lie; she hated this patrol stuff. She might have been Imbrium of Castor for years, but there was something infinitely exhausting about powering up and wandering alone into the dark, lonely night. It was a choice, she knew that; it endangered her life- and more importantly, her grades- every time she did it, and yet... she did. Maybe she got a thrill out of the danger, or from being able to let out a little bit of her annoyance at her family while doing things to like... help people. So except for when she was shoplifting snickers and stuff from convenience stores, Imbrium was seen as a good guy! Saving lives, keeping people from getting drained and robbed... it was fun. The detection of Chaos brought the Squire to a pause, bright eyes drawing to a squint. Where oh where could that naughty dog be? She gripped her shield tightly, hunching and moving towards the energy signature. As she drew closer, thinking she could finally, at last, feel the Chaos aura around the corner... Imbrium hopped out from around the corner and chucked her shield at the enemy like- like that red white and blue guy in those nerdy movies. Mr America or whatever.

The aura had been drawing closer and he whirled as it appeared around the corner—only for himself to catch a stomach full of a giant frisbee. He crumpled to the ground as the wind was knocked out of him and his chest rattled as he suddenly struggled to inhale enough oxygen. ********. ******** ******** ********> He was so, so vulnerable like this, and with his body focused on breathing, he almost couldn't process anything with his vision. "Jesus Christ," he wheezed out, trying to see who was coming for him between the spots dancing around his eyes.

Oh. "Oh, s**t," Imbrium took half a moment to marvel, "I actually hit him." Which meant, of course, Imbrium should press her advantage. Run up, grab her shield back, and punch him in the eye. On the flip side, technically she hadn't caught him doing anything wrong. Just because she knew some of the Negaverse was made up of Chaos Scum didn't mean most of the Negaverse was made up of Chaos Scum, and certainly not that all Chaos Scum belonged to the Negaverse. She trucked up to the Agent, and stopped about a leg-length away- just enough room to kick him, she figured- and listened to him wheeze. "No Jesus here." she told him, and her voice was almost apologetic. I'm sorry, part of her wanted to say. You're gonna be okay, another part said. Imbrium opened her mouth. "You're sorry."

Arsenolite struggled to move backwards on his back, kicking his feet against the dirty concrete rather uselessly. He still couldn't quite catch enough breath, and he coughed as he tried to move away. He didn't get very far before the Squire stood close to him and said... what."Yeah, sorry I met you," he managed to wheeze out around more coughs, groaning and letting his head hit the ground again. ********, he hated this feeling. Hell, he might as well try to do something, right? He pulled his stupid slingshot out and threw it in the direction of the voice, hoping he at least hit her a little bit. It would make this whole situation even more embarrassing if he completely missed, and he just wanted it to go away. So much for a peaceful night of energy-sapping and starseed-stealing. Now all he wanted to do was go home, curl up, and watch a really dumb movie with some hot chocolate at hand.

He looked like a turtle. Kicking his heels, wheezing around her shield in his gut, and- " Rude." She might have apologized for the foot in her mouth but now she certainly wouldn't. The whole-a** slingshot that hit her squarely between the eyes made Imbrium yelp and skitter backwards, heels clacking against the pavement. "What are you doing out here anyway?" she snapped as she caught the little slingshot as it fell from her head and walked over to try and peg him with it. "Let me guess, trying to steal candy from babies, and walkers from the old folks' home?" She was absolutely going to have a black eye tomorrow. "Who are you?"

Arsenolite coughed, finally sitting up and pushing the stupid, oversized Frisbee away from him. "Jesus Christ, lady, I ain't done anything!" he said loudly, coughing again. "Let alone somethin' as useless as stealin' candy or walkers! Actually, hold the phone, why do the babies have candy? Ain't they too dumb to eat yet and just have boobie milk or whatever?" Not that this was important at all.

"You haven't done anything YET." Pythia scowled at the agent as he sat up, stomping forward and staring down at him. Then she bent over to pick up his slingshot again, and throw it at him again. "I know the way you lot work. I've met enough of you. I wouldn't be surprised if you have agents wandering around hospitals robbing energy from cancer patients and snatching starseeds out of the ICU." He was absolutely focused on the wrong parts of her previous statements however. "Why does it matter why the babies have candy? It's a simile, you under-educated twit! Or maybe the baby is holding the candy for its babysitter? Babies get teeth at like 6 months, anyway, would you want someone who doesn't understand 'OW' shoving their teeth in your nipples?" Not that it mattered. Imbrium threw up her hands in disgust. "Anyways. You. Whatever your name is. Get. Go. Shoo. Your kind isn't welcome on this street. And I don't mean the ginger thing, I absolutely mean servants of Chaos."

Huh. Well, breaking into the hospital might be a bit of a problem, but stealing starseeds from the ICU sounded like a good idea. Those people were close to death anyway, right? He scoffed at her, flinching as his slingshot was used against him for the second time and snapped it up, kicking out at Imbrium's ankles as he finally pulled himself together enough to stand. "Yeah, I'm soulless for a reason other than having red hair," he said snidely, with an oily smirk. "Fine, then, I'll go, this time. Next time, you aren't gonna be so lucky." He turned to walk away with a swaggering confidence he absolutely should not have had for someone who got laid out in less than a second.

That... rat. A foot made contact with Imbrium's pale ankles and the Squire squealed, dancing backwards to curse at the Agent, hopping one-legged while her hand held her ankle behind her, awkwardly. "Don't let me see you around these parts again, arseface. I'll have my eye out for you." The one that wouldn't be black and swollen tomorrow. "I'll spank you again." Maybe. Hopefully. Yeah, who was she kidding, this had just been- sheer luck.
