Albite had excess energy to get out, buzzed with it trapped beneath his skin. He knew if he'd have stayed home he would have lost his mind. It was late enough that most places were closed, which was perfect for him. Meant he could go out on the town and not have to worry about getting spotted by errant randos.
All Albite really wanted to do, for just a few moments, was fly. Take off over rooftops two stories at a time, launch himself up and let gravity's pull bring him back down to earth - and the moments when he was weightless were the best - or when he was scrabbling for a hand hold because 'oh s**t there were no more bricks' or when a railing came lose, and he really needed to watch that....
A sudden ping in the distance, a recognizeable figure, he didn't know many people with silver hair who felt like that. Could only really place the one. A decent drink of coffee, some laughs. Albite grinned, shark wide, full of teeth as he veered off in that direction.
"Sup Mary Jane!" and Albite realized absently he hadn't gotten the other boys name, either of 'em. Not that it mattered. The one joy of being a glowing beacon in the dark, was that signals were recognizable, familiar almost like fingerprints. Not so much so from a distance, but once one got close enough...

Thorite had barely sensed the corrupted senshi coming up on him in time; he turned as he heard the greeting and laughed. "Hi, Peter," he teased, cocking out a hip and setting a hand on it. "Out to kick some butt?" He himself had gone out with the intention of trying to gather energy tonight, but he'd wound up just wandering for the most part, playing atop buildings and using his newfound extra strength to increase his parkour skills. "...Huh, you know, I never did get your actual name," he said thoughtfully. "I'm Thorite. Or, if you care to know, Eliot. When I'm not all gussied up, that is." Wow, gussied up? What the ********, bro, he thought at himself.

All grin at Thorites tease, a refreshing thing to have someone so easy to trade banter with. No pressure, no worries of overstepping, not that Albite was the sort who ever would have cared if he did. He shook his head because for once, he wasn't out working the streets, no doing the nightly grind, or avoiding suspicious puddles, he was just out. Let the motion of saying no flow straight into a considerate head tilt, because they really hadn't, and he didn't know why...Thorite...the name had a powerful ring to it, very marvel-esque. "Name's Albite...I'd be careful with the day-to-day names though hun." He wanted to warn him, to have a little caution with how easily he handed out his own personal details. While Albite held next to no concerns for a great deal of things - he also kept a shotgun under his couch - just incase those things he didn't concern himself over ever reared their ugly heads in his day to day life; where they would have been unwelcome. "I trust you though, so if Waru has a better taste to it. Just not while we're all glitter 'n glam yeah?" Gussied was a such cute word.

Thorite blushed from embarrassment and nodded. "Yeah, of course," he said, smiling softly, "Though it would make going on a date that's not at like, three in the morning, really hard, if we never met out of uniform." He wiggled his brows.

Albite wanted to offer continued caution, because there were assholes out there, in there, and all around their organization. In everyday life even - because showing up in the day to day was one thing, with people he trusted, but that Thorite shouldn't be taking strangers home! Complete and utter hypocrisy coming from Albite, irony in its fiercest form, but Thorite seemed like such a nice guy. An honest to gods sweet heart... That thought made him briefly wonder at how old Thorite was...How old Eliot was..and he'd damned well ask, because the powers skewed everything. Made it real hard to tell on age. Just as he was going ask, to also simultaneously launch into a rant about how how he might want to keep the uniform on, and how playing around in powered form was just 'the actual best, why would anyone take it off!?' He noticed the blush, tripped over the word 'date', shut the ******** up and stared. As the lightbulb in his brain clicked blessedly on. Albites mouth fell open into a soft round 'o' of a thing. Head tilted just so as he looked at Thorite differently. Let his eyes rove him from head to toe. Ran his tongue over his bottom lip and grinned like a tiger that'd just caught sight of a meal - hungry and wanting and 'o h.'"Oh....ooohhhh... huhn..I mean, if that's something you want? No reason we can't do that right now? There's plenty of places still open, it's a whole a** city Eliot; night owls and insomniacs abound." Albite would know, he was one of them. A frequent seeker in one form of another; of shop or square or venue full of late night delights. Clubs, carts, and stalls all open and catering to those who scoured the city in the wee hours, sleepless and set on spending the brief moments before dawn doing something other than dying by slow degrees in their beds. Rest was wasted on someone like Waru, who would have been restless with or without it - sought the pleasure and presence of life that a night spent dreaming would never offer him properly. Calls of 'come to bed', were only best heeded when there was someone else in that bed to beckon him there. "Is that something you'd want Eliot..a date?" Waru was tempted to say need, tempted to drop down to the street below that instant, drop his guise, and haul the silver haired man off alongside him - leave niceties at the door and just get s**t done. "Not gonna get my a** jailbaited I hope? I'm a terrible judge on these things, what with all the gettup getting in the way of gauging ages.."

Thorite couldn't help a small chuckle when he watched the lightbulb go off over Albite's head—they guy was just so precious. He smirked, putting his hands on his hips. "I definitely want that," he reaffirmed, "I was just thinking it'd be nice to maybe go on one that's not at three in the morning because it's a lot easier when we can just... be ourselves without any, ah... interruptions. I don't think it's safe to just go out for tacos or something while we look too sexy, y'know? Doesn't matter what's open at night if there's, ah, sexy-phobic people out." He snorted at himself, shaking his head. "Sorry, I'm a bit ridiculous. As for being jailbait..." He blinked, amused at the thought. "I've been eighteen for a couple months. So I think we're good." He ignored the way his heart clenched at the thought. He'd spent his last two birthdays out on the streets after running away from home. No, phrasing it that way wasn't fair to himself. The truth was he'd escaped a bad situation. Somehow, though, turning eighteen had seemed to just... not have a lot of significance, having spent so long on the streets. He'd already been pretty grown up as it was. Though he guessed it was nice to be able to vote—no, he had to have an actual address for that, didn't he? Wow, his thoughts were way off track. He grinned cockily at Albite, adjusting his hat with one hand. "So, whaddya say?"

Albite snorted softly, the lines that creased his eyes and the corners of his lips told of frequent smiling, laughing over the simplest of things with ease. Thorite was legal - bonus cherry on top of 'ohthankgod' levels of cake. Funny, cute, how could Albite have ever said no - turned down that cocky grin and charismatic pull. Thorite could'a had him with half the effort, coulda had him from minute one, without needing to dial it up. The fact that he made the effort to do so? Aces in Albites book - "So long as you're a legal beagle, I'm all for it. You can sign me up for 'normal', though I think you'd have to be the one to pick the time and place. At least for the first date yeah?" rubbing the back of his neck lightly as he glanced between the tall silver haired man before him, and the city around them; on watch and considerate. Because Albites version of normal? Hell Waru's version of normal? No matter how he tilted the picture around of that in his head, and tried to frame it over Thorites slanted grin and tipped hat - he really just couldn't make it fit. Sweet. The guy was ******** candied apples, barely 18, and wanted something simple, sane, and sans powers. Albite got that, with all of himself, but even in his offscreen moments, he wasn't sure if the majority of activities he did with others could have been construed as 'normal'. Fun - Y E S - absolutely fun, but normal? "Lets get a running list going yeah - where you staying at anyhow?" and albite could imagine movie dates and popcorn at his place, at thorites. Could envision going to the cities yearly festivities, hitting up carnivals, fairs and rides of all sorts. Could make himself a frame around those things, because he did it often enough with others. Chalked it up to moments of 'downtime', taking a break with those little in-betweens. He'd even managed to have one at the whole star festival thing, however silly most of it had been.

Thorite smiled softly, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Yeah, I'll pick something good, but not too fancy. Can't exactly afford anything to wear to a five-star place or something," he said with a small laugh. "I'm, uh. Stayin' at the barracks, y'know? There's, uh... not exactly enough space there for anything other than sleeping, though. Plus we'd probably piss off the neighbors, and we really don't need to be doing that when they could very much ******** us up," he said with a laugh, "Man, it is too bad the Star Fest is over. Could've gone on the ferris wheel or something."

Albite nodded along, because he didn't care if it was fancy, or a hole in the wall - or a literal warehouse party. Money wasn't people, or experiences. It came and went and you couldn't take it with you. He'd always lament the nice things he couldn't have, but would never place those things above quality time spent with others.
Acknowledging easily that the star festival would've been fun. It was truly a shame it was over. They would've had a blast together, ate cotton candy, filled out silly little tree papers, collected weird tokens 'n stuffed prizes.
All of that drifted sweetly over Albites head, sugarplum fairy dust that soured when Thorite mentioned the barracks. Not exactly Albites favorite place, but hell, he was just really lazy about making the effort to get to and from negaspace in general. He had his own crowded little shoebox thank you very much. Didn't need to hunt someone down to transport him to and from it either.
Albite couldn't keep the displeasure out of his gaze, narrowed, sharp - not aimed at Thorite directly - but at the image in his mind of how the barracks must have been like at present, to make Thorite say those kinds of things.
"Thorite, hun, One - if the barracks are shitty, I have a slightly better than average couch? Two - have you seen yourself? Hell, have you seen me?" and like a star on a stage Albite held his arms out - All sorts of 'take a ******** look'.
"Leme say this? ******** 'em, the neighbors, the youma. I'ma Senshi babe - m' just nice about not dusting anybody's pets - cause I feel that. I actually really like the youma." The knowledge that someday, if Thorite stuck with it, he'd be lucky enough to have a little denizen of death and decay all to himself, a partner to have his back front and sides in any fight? That knowledge made Albite all sorts of warm. One of the Senshi's many failing graces, they lacked badass pets, the youma hated them, a shame because he found them fascinating.
"Everything else though? Everyone else? I'd loovveee to hear their 'complaints', let me catch 'em with my name in their mouths over something stupid. Hell, let 'em watch even, see what their missing." Albites grin drew across his face like blood, like a threat. Like the idea of his new, young friend, having to deal with any kind of hazing was a personal offense. If it'd been at albites expense, and only his own expense, he wouldn't have cared.
Like he had the time or energy to care how quickly the sharp, jealous, little tongues of people beneath him wagged. Let them cut themselves and bleed for the effort.
If people were ******** with Thorite though?

Thorite blushed bright red, rubbing the back of his neck. "Not sure how I feel about people watching," he said with an embarrassed laugh, smiling shyly, "But if we ever do that in the barracks, I'll definitely let you handle 'em. Babe." He gave a little sigh. "I can't wait until I can get my own little youma," he said wistfully, "They're so cool. Probably a little bit better than this thing." He gestured to the wisp that he finally remembered existed as it bobbed in the air behind him. It had come to him, after the monster exploded, and hadn't wanted to leave. It was kinda cute, but it didn't really... do much. He gave it a little pat anyway.

"Aww, watching's the best part, but you go on and deprive 'em of the show. Just don't let 'em tell you ya can't have a show kay?" his laugh for that, barracuda grin at Thorites soft shy laugh, the way the blush ate up his pale skin all the way down.
"Oh man you've gotta show me when you do I'll nev---" eyes widening at the sight of the lovely lumen glow, soft sigh of awe and gasp as the wisp bobbed into view. "Orbies!! Oh man?! You too - wait, you were at that battle? Did you get in one with the freaky merchant? Details thorite ya gotta give me details." his mouth a thousand miles ahead of his mind.
Albite moved on instinct, got in close and hovered over the two, peered down and bounced a little on his toes as though he was barely restraining himself from reaching out and touching. Likely because he was, because oh man, the orbs had made friends! Wisps apleanty, the dragon merchant with to many teeth could bite him.

Thorite blushed a little deeper, rubbing a hand over his very hot face in a dim hope to cool down a little. "Yeah, course I will," he said, answering the unfinished request. "And uh, yeah. I helped defeat that freaky godzilla big time. And, uh, no. I didn't fight the merchant. This thing just... exploded out from the dino and wouldn't leave me alone, so I just sorta... kept it. It's a little bit cuddly... I haven't figured out what to call it yet or anything, though." He petted it again, smiling at the way it cozied up in his hand, and then gently pushed it towards Albite. "It's okay," he crooned to the wisp, "He's not gonna hurt ya, you can let him say hello." He grinned at Albite, nodding to the wisp as his permission to let Albite pet it.

"Oh, you've gotta name 'em man. That's like, wisp caretaking one oh one? Their good - just the absolute best little orbs, yanno? All else fails, you'll always have a glow buddy in the barracks. Little suckers stick to us in this form like vacuums." Albite cooed at the wisp gingerly, all soft hands and gentle motions as he gently reached out to pat the orb. Albite was enamored, with the wisp, with Thorite, with the idea of planning a fun new date time and place. It was a shame they'd missed the whole of the star festival, but there were always things going on in the city. New attractions, new events. "S'amazing you were in it - that was one hell of a monster. Hff..you're lucky then, to get one of these cuties." a softness to albites face as he spoke, for the wisp, for the sheer joy of getting to run a few knuckles over the soft glowing fuzz of the creatures form. Absolutely adorable, the pair of 'em were. Albite was lost on topics, couldn't help but bounce from one to the next with a bevy of words to follow. The wisps soothing glow was especially distracting somehow.

Thorite grinned, tilting his head a bit. "I just... dunno what I would name it. It doesn't exactly.... I mean, it's not like it's a dog, where you have a pattern, or a personality, or something, to give it a name with. Maybe I'll come up with something. heh, you're right about the little guy being like a nightlight or something." He inhaled deeply and gave a content sigh. "So, as for a date when we're not gonna get assaulted... Lemme give you my phone number," he said, pulling a pen from his vest pocket. "Mind if I write on your hand?"

Albite blinked at Thorite, long slow flutterings of lashes as he stared at him like he couldn't possibly comprehend what he was saying; because yes the orbs did have personalities, and no they weren't just like a dog! They were better than any dog that had ever dogged. "Maybe...maybe if you named it, and yanno..spent some time? It might just form a personality. It's clearly sentient, ya gotta name sentient things - elevates their purpose and everything." Albite pressed gently, soft grin and soft hands. Hoped Thorite would bond and get some use out of his wisps - maybe even some happiness and companionship. Waru sure had. "Hmm, oh yeah - non-assaultive date's a go. Here." happy to hold out his hand, his whole arm, whatever Thorite wanted to scribble on. It wasn't like he lacked in available skin space for it.
