Wanted Wisps (11) : Small, wispy orbs are floating through the city. They can be found during the day but are far more visible at night. They seem to bob along a few feet off the ground and sometimes flicker in and out of sight. They are warm to the touch and seem to be somewhat magical in nature. Anyone can gather them in their hands; they do not quite feel solid but cannot slip through fingers or escape any container. If you find one of these, you must return it to the merchant. If you do not roleplay with him, it will be assumed that you returned the piece to hi anyway; there is no way to keep these. Please see this post for information on turning in the Wisp and claiming your prize.
Contrary to popular belief, Calaverite didn't hate meeting new people. He thought he actually liked it! He knew he didn't prefer being alone, and it was fun to do his favorite activities with someone else (as long as they weren't disruptive). But given that others weren't usually thrilled about meeting him and were pretty open about expressing it, he'd taken to holding a certain degree of wariness when being introduced to strangers. Ivory had never gotten along well with most of his peers, but Cala at least had... mixed success.
Some of the other corrupts and agents who lived in Negaspace weren't so unlike him. Maybe they didn't have a place to go or were "too much" for anyone to handle in the city. The Negaverse was their everything, a persona they'd adopted and clung to that enabled them to do much more than any normal civilian.
Calaverite could get behind that. He hadn't known he'd wanted to be a senshi until he already was, but it wasn't like he'd give it up or just surrender to anyone who stood in his way now. So he enjoyed hanging out with those who felt similarly, and most who lived in the Negaverse did feel strongly about their goals. He would eat in the barracks cafeteria with them or they could go out on patrols together. But none of them were his friends, who brought him things and checked on him.
None of them were like Rakovanite.
When his communicator had blipped with a message from his general, Cala was pleased as ever to be sought after by the other man. Rakovanite had taken him on assignments and helped him train and saved him and was there for him, and he was also most frequently the one to bring him out of Negaspace. Calaverite was thrilled when someone paid him enough mind to let him do fun, new activities.
So he was more than a little disappointed- hinging on miffed, blossoming into outright rage- when the voice message was only to tell him that Rakovanite would not be in attendance, but would be sending someone for him to meet with in Negaspace.
So he didn't even get to leave-
But it went on to say that the boy, another corrupt, needed to be shown to a computer lab where he could work on filing a report for his latest assignment. Since he was sure Calaverite also needed to submit a log for his most recent activities, they should do so together. Perhaps that would be enough to keep them on track.
So basically, nothing exciting at all. It just sounded like chores with a stranger.
The boy he was to meet, Cervantite, could be like him, though: a teenaged boy, a basic corrupt, taking instruction from General Rakovanite. They were on the same team, so they must be likely to get along, Cala thought. Maybe he'd get really lucky, and Cervantite wouldn't care about computer labs and reports, then they could find something much more exciting to do together...
