The city is hoping to have this issue fixed soon, but in the meantime they are asking for patience.
With all the things with Dinara ontop of the rains though... Mourite was in a right foul mood. It didn't help he kept getting random calls and texts that were literally jiberish. Not even something that could be related to Metallia or the White Moon. So some sort of bored teen with knowledge of computers was the likely cause. It didn't exactly help his mood though.
Maybe that's why he was stalking through the park, little plastic thimbles out for blood. While getting drenched in the rain.
Pity the poor White Mooner or knight who got in his way right now...

Tjlilaki wasn't quite sure why she was out in this storm. She wasn't even sure why she even went out patrolling this late at night. It wasn't like she was looking for a fight or any trouble. She was just bored and wanted something to do. She was going to power down and go home and take a nice soothing bubble bath. Plus her phone was acting up. She wasn't sure if maybe it needed to be charged or maybe she needed a new one. She was hoping for the latter. She couldn't afford a new one. She hurried on hoping not to get caught in the rain. She stopped when she felt something In the air. She was quite new at all this being a Senshi so sometimes she wasn't sure if what she was feeling was bad energy or something else. Never hurt to be careful. She slowed down and tried to pay more attention to her surroundings. She didn't want to get herself caught in something she didn't want to be in. Better try and make it home quickly. ((182))

Something flared white and good and light and distinctly White Moon on his radar, close enough he didn't even have to try to chase it down. Good. Oh boy, he could use a good fight right now. Senshi or knight, didn't matter. His thimbles would be buried in their flesh. Somehow. Probably. Actually, he was pretty sure that it would be better to just ignore his 'weapon' and just lead with his fists.
So he did.
Mourite came out from between the trees to find the senshi doing the typical 'I sense something suspicious!' look, and flew at her with a fist.
"Didn't anyone tell you not to patrol alone at night?" he said, letting his sour mood fuel his words and his fists.

Tjilaki was stunned. It took her a while to process what had happened. She stood there a few minutes shocked and confused. She put her hands up to her face. No that did not just happen. "What the hell." She screamed out and looked at the guy. She started to breathe slowly in and out. She couldn't believe this. While she hadn't much interaction with the Negaverse she just couldn't believe that they were like this. Her whole thought process was that they were just misunderstood That maybe they just needed someone to vent and talk to. Needed a friend. Nope, She wasn't in the mindset for this. "How dear you. What is wrong with you." She threw her hands out and started slapping the dude on each of his cheeks. "Men" slap. "Do not." slap "hit Women." slap Who raised this man? Tjilaki couldn't imagine what was going through his mind. ((152))

Alright. He'll be honest. The slapping really caught him off guard. Like. He stood there stunned as she slapped his cheeks almost raw and just sort of blinked. Didn't even really react, just
Stood there.
Like a deer caught in headlights.
Mourite brought a hand up to his cheek and blinked at her. Several times.
"What.... the ********.... just happened..." he blinked some more and just sort of stared at her like she had four heads. Who... who just does that? Granted, good on her for fighting back but... slapping him???
The storm raged around the two of them for a moment. A crack of thunder broke the stupified Mourite out of his trance and he reset himself. Don't let the slappy senshi get the better of him.
"Then I'm not a man, I'm just a Negaverse Agent that's going to break your slappy hands!" That was weak and he knew it was, but that didn't stop him from launching himself at her to tackle her to the ground. MAYBE HE'D SLAP HER AROUND, SEE HOW SHE LIKED IT!

Between the Storm and him Tjilaki didn't know what to do. She was mad at him for punching her in the face the way that he did for no reason at all. But now the anger that he showed she couldn't feel nothing but pity. Pity and concern. She blamed the Negaverse for all this. What have they done to these poor kids? As he took her down to the ground she didn't even try to fight him. "It's okay." She took her free hand and tried to rub his back. All the agents from the Negaverse that she has run into just seem so lost to her. They were full of hate and anger. All Tjilaki wanted to know was what made them that way. She looked him in the eye and tried to talking softly to him. "Hey. Let's start over. You seemed mad about something before all this. Do you want to talk about it." Tjilaki hoped she didn't have to result to any fighting. He probably was just having a bad day and needed someone to talk to. ((182))

Huh. What. Who. How. Why. EH!?
Mourite.EXE has stopped working.
Like on one hand, he was this close to just trying to break her hands and just lay into her. On the other hand, she genuinely seemed concerned about his wellbeing and didn't fight back!? And was rubbing his back!? And just sort of talking softly and kindly and just.
There was flash across his mind of his mother quietly speaking to him as a small child, consoling him and putting bandaids on his hands after a particularly nasty evening around his father. Her soft voice, her kind words, the stars in her eyes.
Mourite weakly sort of smacked at the senshi's arms, unable to see her suddenly. He hiccuped and sort of just sat there, awkwardly straddling this senshi while trying to get his emotions under control. To contain the mix of rage and hurt and relief in his chest.
It took him several minutes to even remotely calm down to a point where he could form words, much less speak them.
"...Well <********> me," he finally said, gasping for breath and just sort of sliding to one side - thankfully off of her - and staring into the space above her head. "No... no I don't think I want to talk about it, quite honestly but ah... wow okay. That was. Unexpected. First off, who just slaps the s**t out of someone like that!? Second of all... You know that with literally anyone else doing whatever it is you just ******** did will absolutely get you killed, right? Stars why do I always find the dumb ones?!"
Mourite ran a hand through his soaking wet hair and just let out the loudest groan ever and collapse backwards into a puddle.
Oh... oh there were some things he needed to work out, oh boy.

Tjilaki stared over at him and sighed. "You are very right, who just goes up and slaps the s*** out a random person? I am sorry for that. I reacted badly. You did punch me in my face tho and I was just taken back in surprise and just did the first thing I could think of. I should have reacted differently and handled it differently. I just never had been punched in the face before. And it was for no reason at all. Tjilaki could have done differently. She just didn't know how to handle everything. When he had punched her the first thing she thought of was what she had been told by her parents "Boys don't hit girls" she had grown up with that ideology and it had stuck with her till this day. Besides, it was unprovoked. She turned so she could look down at him. "Can we start over? Some weather we have here huh?" ((160))

"You're a senshi though, like shouldn't you... fight people!? Or expect it? I." Mourite was at a god damned loss. This senshi wasn't trying to fight anyone, and somehow had never been punched before? He just thought that was a normal part of life? Was it... not?
(Could he, possibly, just possibly, have a lot of trauma from his childhood? The world may never know.)
To be quite honest, whatever fight Mourite had in him sort of died with the sheer chaos of the whole debaucle. He still hated the rain though.
"I'm not really a fan of storms, to be honest," he said, getting up and feeling just how... absolutely soaking wet he was. Mourite groaned. "I'll be honest, whatever fight I had in me is gone, so I'm just gunna go and leave you alone now. So. Yeah." Cue awkward standing in the rain.

a-disgruntled-dragon Sorry for super late reply. I hope Mourite and Tjilaki could meet again. His question caught her off guard. Yes, she was a Senshi, she should be fighting him. "Yes. But I am more of a lover than a fighter. I try to avoid fighting at all costs. And plus I am kinda new to all this." She looked up at the rain-filled sky and sighed. She needs to stop going out patrolling at night. She did not know what she was expected to find. She had just been so curious lately about everything. She didn't think this whole Senshi thing though. "I hate storms too. Don't like being out in the rain, don't like thunder. Don't like anything about it." Tjilaki turned toward the Nega. "Before you go. I know it may seem strange of me to be like this but could you promise to slow down and try to at least talk your feelings out with someone. I know we should be enemies but I hope to see you again on better terms. Oh and don't punch girls in the face like that. We don't like that." With that Tjilaki turned and made her way home out of the rain. ((189))
