Quote: The Wishing Tree (1): A Destiny City Star Festival Tradition to be held every year; In Town Square, there is a beautiful tree with spreading branches. It is tall, but the lowest branches are easily reached. The city has decorated the tree with small, starlike ornaments and glistening lights. Thick leaves and beautiful purple flowers dangle from the branches, along with a myriad of different colored papers with handwritten wishes. Next to the tree is a stack of blank paper with twine attached, and a handwritten sign that explains: Write your wish on a sheet of paper and tie it to the tree. Take one wish off the tree and do your best to grant it. When you have granted the wish, bury the paper in the park. If you choose to use the Wishing Tree, what do you wish for? If your wish is private, you may write it on the paper and choose a spot in the park and bury it yourself instead of hanging it on the tree. Tyrannosaurus did not think there was a time limit on when one could make a wish on the tree. Even though it was very late at night and she was just finishing up her patrol, she thought she might swing back to the park and write down a wish to add to the pretty tree. She would take one to try and fulfill, as that was the name of the game. It made it a bit of a quest, which she was always game for. The NPC just happened to be a tree, and she likely would never know who posted it. That was just fine by her, as it did not diminish the experience she would game just from trying to help in a small way. Sitting on the floor near the tree, Tyranno tried to find enough light to write by. She had not brought anything that really glowed, and she doubted using her power to summon that glowing skeletal T-Rex skull would be a smart idea. Not one she had disregarded altogether... but she was trying to avoid it. For now, she was just using her phone for light as she considered her wish. After becoming a fighter like a character in her favorite games, what could she possibly want? Something for everyone, though nothing too hokey and impossible for someone else to do. She was not sure what she wanted to see others trying, but it felt like it was an important enough consideration to warrant some time and focus. So the Senshi stopped paying attention to what was around her, and instead focused on the blank piece of paper.

Every year Tjilaki would make a wish at the wishing tree. It had become a sort of tradition for her. This year would not be any different. She stood in front of the tree just looking at it. It had many wishes from others written on paper tried to it. She was impressed with how beautiful the tree looked even with all the stuff tied to it. She wasn't sure what she was going to wish for this year Last year she wished to be better at being a Senshi. She wished to not be so timid and scared of everything. Of course, she had worded it differently. Had to be safe anyways. She took up a pen and paper and stared at the paper thinking of what to write down. This year has been quite uneventful in her life. She hadn't really experienced anything special. There were many things that Tjlaki wished for. Maybe this year she would bury her wish? Bury it in s spot where only she can know about it? With the pen and paper in hand, she got a little closer to the tree. There seemed to be a small light coming from underneath it. Did they put a light of some sort for people to go under and use to see what they were writing? Well, it was quite dark, so that made some sense to her. She got down to crawl under the tree only to see a girl using the light on her phone to see. "Oh, I'm sorry." ((257))

Tyranno probably should have been paying more attention to the auras around her, but she was pretty bad at that. For some reason, everything always felt muddled and weird to her. Maybe she was just not good enough at focusing on any one thing in specific. She did tend to have a very short attention span more often than not, which did not blend well with keeping herself alert. She jumped when someone else poked her head around the tree, laughing and shaking her head once she realized it was just another White Moon. That meant they were playing for the same team, and thus immediately trustworthy. "Hey, no worries! I was in my own world. This wish thing is tough, huh? I can't think of what to put!" Tyranno grinned brightly, even in the dim light of the late evening. Early morning? Whatever it qualified as. She put the pen and paper down in front of her, in the soft grass, before getting up and putting her hand on the tree. She looked up at its bark, then at the branches with all the wishes hanging on them. "I think I just want to try to make someone else's wish come true, really. Do you think it's okay if I don't put one, but take one anyway?"

Tjilaki was surprised. It was another white moon. Another Senshi. Since finding out about who she was the only person she has met was that talking cat. And she hasn't seen him again or ran into anyone else since. How should she act toward them? She wanted to come across as not only someone who they can trust and someone reliable, but also cool. She didn't have many if any friends. "Yes, this is a rather hard task. There are just so many things to wish for." She watched the girl as she came out of the tree and looked it over. "Oh, You can pick a wish instead. I don't see why that wouldn't be allowed." That actually sounded like a good idea. Tjilaki always every year only made wishes she never took one and tried to fulfill them. Maybe she should switch up and try doing that. ((149))

"Yeah? Okay, great!" Tyrannosaurus laughed, putting the pencil and paper down for a moment to regard the other curiously. She had not met too many other senshi, but she definitely preferred running into them than she did running into some of those Negaverse folks. Captains and Generals specifically: they were really scary, and she knew she had a lot more training and experience grinding to get through before she was able to take them on. She had to stick to what she knew she could face, and build up to the big boys. Plus, she had to overcome the bumps that had appeared in the path her journey was taking. Like not knowing if she could really defeat an enemy or not, or how to use her magic effectively in a battle that did not end in her running away. That was pretty embarrassing. "Alright, well. Maybe picking a wish off the tree to try and fulfill will help us figure out what to wish for? Because honestly, all I can think of is winning this giveaway I entered for online and that seems kind shallow." She laughed, though she was only half kidding about that. She would never put that to paper, even if winning would be pretty sweet. "Oh! I'm Sailor Tyrannosaurus. It's nice to meet you!"

"I'm Tjilaki. It's nice to meet you too." Tjilaki was so happy to finally meet another Senshi. "'My name is Tjilaki. It's so good to meet you. It's the first time to meet another Senshi." She had so many questions that she would love to ask the other Senshi. "The other people that I have met are all on the wrong side and I have had no good experiences with them. But meeting you shows me that I am not alone in this." Tjilaki looked at the tree. "We can each pick a wish and see if it's plausible to grant. I don't see the harm in doing that." ((109))
