Kalina had decided to give all of this up as a bad job. Ever since that crazy nonsense two summers ago...and the whole…ascension s**t...she was just done.
Stick a fork in her. She was more than done.
It had been easy, easy to just slip away, staying in a beautiful home up in the mountains of Vermont, just relaxing for the past year and a half. Her kitten was grown now, a beautiful, sweet cat, and she had mellowed just a bit.
...But it was easy to mellow when the biggest worry was bears and moose.
It was summer once again, or nearly so, and here she was, back in the city, taking a much needed walk as she thought about why she had left. It was nice to be back. Bustling and bright and loud...but.
Maybe city life really wasn’t for her anymore. Maybe she should just...go back to the mountain house and make that a permanent home.
As the girl passed near a park on her walk, she noticed a tall man with ridiculously long hair...and an outfit that made her pause.
Well...there were no cracks in his forehead or chest so perhaps he wasn’t a corrupt senshi as she was but…
...He obviously wasn’t normal. That much was sure.
Quietly, her hand slid into her bag and she let her fingers wrap around the thin cylinder of her henshin pen.
...She could handle herself. If need be...but...maybe it wouldn’t...need...be.

Caledonite sighed as he slid the small orbs into a pocket on his uniform. It seemed like slim pickings tonight... But then again perhaps that's what he got for picking a less populated area of town. Though... This just meant he could dip if he saw any one approaching... Especially a certain Page as of late. Dinara knew of his activities, yes. But that did not mean he necessarily felt like having to explain what he was up to if she were to randomly catch him. He didn't need any unexpected setback at the moment, especially if she was weighing her options. Caledonite suddenly felt eyes on him and he blinked, standing just a bit taller. He didn't feel any aura's... Which meant it was someone at the park. The Captain turned, scanning the area around him when his gaze fell on a young girl. Ah... That explains it. He blinked as he watched her hand slowly slide into her bag and he sighed again. "For your sake, whatever your reaching for better not be pepper spray..."

Kalina paused and raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly. “And if it is? What are you going to do about it? I’m a lonely girl just walking here, and you look like a rather creepy creep, why shouldn’t I use pepper spray on you? Also, for my sake why shouldn’t it be?”
She was sassing a bit too much, if he was a part of the Negaverse, obviously he could just take out her starseed or...whatever...but…
Her sense of self preservation had always been pretty low when it came to things like this. “You don’t seem so scary anyway. Just a beanpole, really. Tall and mysterious.”

Caledonite raised an eyebrow. "Oh so you're the only one allowed to walk somewhere without being suspicious? I was minding my own business. You are the one staring at me, intending to mace me when I have done nothing to you." The Captain replied flatly. "One minute you're accusing me of being a 'creepy creep', as you put it. The next I'm not so scary anymore. Which is it?" He'd show her who was a beanpole. He huffed, picking at a loose thread on his uniform, seemingly ignoring her. "Besides, I thought girls liked 'Tall and Mysterious."

Kalina couldn’t stop the disdainful snort that left her lips and pulled out her henshin pen, smirking at him. “You’re not mysterious. Just tall.” And she powered up then, crossing her arms and watching him with a rather unamused expression, pleased when she felt the comforting chaotic aura that came off of him. “You actually...seem kind of useless. You didn’t try to do anything nefarious or anything. Pathetic.”
She waited a moment for the effect…Sapphirine was always at least a little over the top, and then held out her arms, giving a rather unimpressed. “Fluke Slap.”
This...was not the way to come back to the city but...perhaps….it could be good practice? She was rusty, after all.[Mistress Morbid] Sapphirine raises both of her hands and brings them crashing back down to her sides. When the attack is started, it causes a fluke made of senshi magic energy which comes crashing down on an opponent, who is within ten feet of Sapphirine, stunning them for fifteen seconds. This attack can be used twice per battle. The attack may leave the recipient with a headache, or mild disorientation.

Caledonite fixed the girl with a flat look. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you know nothing about me, correct? Therefore there is some element of mystery. Because you know nothing." The Captain muttered flatly, scowling as she turned into a Corrupt.
Oh, joy.
Now it was Caledonite's turn to snort. "Nefarious? Please. I need nothing from you." He'd wasted enough time on her as it was. "There's nothing of value you could give me that I could possi-" His words were cut off as a fluke made of magic came crashing down on him, worsening the headache he already had.
"What the ******** was that suppose to be." He grumbled. "I've seen worse, I guess. That is coming from someone who was given bracers for a weapon. As a Page."

“It’s my magic. I’m the Senshi of Orcas. You know that senshi have magic, right? It’s not really a secret.” Sapphirine’s eyes were narrowed and her dislike for the Captain was growing larger by the second. “Though I suppose if you started on the wrong side of things maybe you wouldn’t know. But. Look. Just. Leave me alone from now on, got it? I know I’m not supposed to attack those on my side, but I will if I have to.”
Sapphirine tossed her long sheet of hair back behind her shoulder and huffed. “Go find your quota elsewhere and we can just part ways amicably, okay?”
Honestly, she just wanted this to be done, so…hopefully he’d take a hint and leave.

"I am aware Senshi's have magic. However, I did not realize how mundane some could be." Though it was certainly better then the card he was dealt at the beginning. Caledonite scowled, straightening his uniform back up. "Believe me. I would prefer not to associate with you beyond this point either." But she would get what she wanted. Cale would avoid her as much as possible.
"Ambicably. Ha." Mirroring her own actions, Caledonite tossed a few strands of his green hair over his shoulder before teleporting away. If she thought that's how things were going to end, then she'd be wrong.
