The large male had been wondering the lands for some time now, he was beginning to feel the journey's effect on both his paws and in his stomach. He had eaten previously, though he ate quickly and irregularly. His dark grey mane fell across his face and though his efforts of trying to flick it away were in vain, the sun caught the brilliance of his emerald eyes.
He stopped walking for a moment, as the sun on his back was too much to bear. He lowered himself, white-tipped paws stretched out before him, yawning. He was too tired, and he had to admit, life as a rogue wasn't as social as he thought. He was so used to time alone with his mother, helping her hunt and taking long peaceful walks. But knowing there was more oppertunity, he couldn't help but wonder what he could do with his mundane life.

Tefu made his way near the Mistweaver border, walking cooly as if he owned the place. He looked to the sun, burning his retnas as he glared at the beam of light, only to turn away and see nothing but colors and dots. Growing fustrated with his lack of sight he blinked a couple times to regain focus. As he scanned the lands, he noticed a gray lion catching some rays.
He ruffled his mane out, watching the loose hairs and dandriff float away with the breeze and started walking towards the lion in hope of conversation.
As he made his way near the lion, hoping not to startle it and cause an attack on himself. Luckily the lion noticed him before he had the chance to creep up on him " Uhm, hi there. " It had been so long since Tefu had conversation with another, he fumbled upon words to say to the mistweaver.

Emerald eyes appeared from behind grey eyelids, gazing along the horizon, the heat making his vision slightly impaired, the sun punturing one corner of his view. Sighing, he flicked his mane from his eyes again, frowning lighty as he noticed a figure in the background. He moved rather like a figure from a dream, tainted with mystery. The figure wavered as the heat waves rose from the ground.
Blinking at the brown figure, he raised his head, rising quickly to greet the lion with a friendly smile "Hello!" He looked a little nervous, so he tried to keep his usually calm voice light and friendly.

Sighing, he flicked his mane from his eyes again, frowning lighty as he noticed a figure in the background. He moved rather like a figure from a dream, tainted with mystery. Tefu blinked a couple times to get it out, but no such luck. Lowering his head again so he could reach his eye with his paw. He rubbed it gently, causing the insect to fall out. " I hate bugs .. " he whispered to himself with irritation.

He chuckled lightly, eyes wondering to the lion, then to the dusty ground, thoughts interrupted by the lions introduction, but it was not seen as rude, of course. Raising his head, he cocked a brow as best as he could, nodding at his name. "Hello there, Tefu." He said, taking the chance to introduce himself. "My name is Mbaraka." He didn't know whether to add that he was a wanderer, or whether Tefu would just assume. He was all so new to this.
Shrugging lightly, he turned his head around sharply, watching the flies, swatting at them gently with a large padded paw. "Yeah, but they have to live, just like us, and they obviously don't mean to cause us irritation." He wondered how the male would react to listening to his pacifistic views. He yawned again, hoping Tefu would not think he was rude, he was simply exhausted.

Tefu gazed out upon the horizon, focusing on the pridelands. He had mild selective hearing which sometimes was used to his advantage, but at other times it just irritated other lions. He nodded as the gray male spoke to him, acting as if he was paying attention, though it was fairly obvious he wasn't. The only words he actually caught were " Mbraka " and " name ".
Assuming that was the gray lions name, he quickly announced his departure.
" Well, it was nice meeting you Mbraka. But I must be taking my leave now, over to the pridelands.. I wish you much luck on your journey though. " With that said Tefu started walking away into the horizon, heading straight for priderock in hope of joining the magnificent pride. His tail flickered side to side as he strut away, only turning his head slightly to see if the gray lion was gone yet.
