Hair Light purple and a little curly, it hangs to her waist. Bangs cover her forehead, covering her eyes slightly. The edges hang lower, framing her face more. The usual style is either a braid or one giant ringlet heaved over one shoulder. If it's a ringlet, it's covered in pins and hairspray to keep it that way.
Eyes Narrow, violet eyes with small lashes. Though they are not huge enough to be considered cute, they are still too big to be considered small. And are almost always studying everyone and everything around them.

Half the time, she might look like a librarian. If not a well dressed one. She enjoys blouses of light colors, in different styles, with a tie pinned underneath the collar and falling down her front. She's not too fond of skirts, though can be seen wearing them at times. But never wearing them without pantyhose or stockings that end above her shoes. Black, white, and purple are her favorite colors to use. She also has a fascination with wearing gloves. Long gloves, lace gloves. This hides the fact she has two very visible scars on her palms.
Because she's so short, Naomi enjoys wearing heels to make herself seem taller and to get on eye level with her peers.

OccupationResidencePersonalityPhobiasAddictionsGift IdeasVirtuesResponsible - Whether she enjoys the task at hand, Naomi will get it done the best she can. Even when it's her hated subject at school, sports, she tries her best to do a good job. No way is she going to risk not graduating over a meaningless difficulty.
Of course, this also means she's reliable. During the times she agrees to do what it is you ask of her. If she doesn't want to, well. You'll have to find someone else to do it or do it yourself. Bullying her to get your way will not work. She is small, but she has spirit.
Good Under Pressure - Ever since the divorce, Naomi was given charge of keeping the house in order until her father got back on his feet. Like the time he sliced his hand with a kitchen knife while cutting up meat for a soup. Common sense had told the little girl to call the hospital and keep her father's hand tightly wrapped to stop the bleeding. All her life she had been a little independent, preferring to do things on her own. The transaction from the daughter of a seemingly happy couple to part housewife was an easy one for her.
However, every wound spring will eventually snap. Notable cases of this are when things don't go as planned. When someone relentlessly pokes at her. In this case, said person tends to find a screaming midget beating her fists against them because she can't reach higher than most people's shoulders. God help those who provoke her near her fencing sword. Does she have a locked away temper? No. It's more built up frustrations over the stress of her home life once someone pushes that one specific button that throws her over the edge. She likes things she can control to go smoothly if nothing else can. Since she can't control the hostility of her mother towards her father. She can't make her father grow up and take care of his family. Fencing proves an excellent stress reliever for her.
Mature - Even before she hit puberty, Naomi was forced to grow up earlier than most kids to help take care of her father after the divorce. Though she was already an independent child, it wasn't her job before to make sure her father remembered to cook or clean something. Half the time, she would end up doing it herself. After many trial and errors, she managed to teach herself to read from a cookbook. Half of the time when she spoke to her mother, it was to ask about cleaning routines and what to use where. Sometimes, this can keep her rather busy. With school and her appointments. In the beginning, she missed many of her lessons. This caused her to become irritable as she made mistake after mistake.
Now, maturity is, of course, more a matter of opinion. Some people wouldn't consider her mature with her bossy attitude. Some may see that as her taking her work seriously and wanting it to go over well. Naomi is more mature in the fact she grew up earlier than most in order to take care of the house. If given the chance, she could live on her own. In order to make sure her father didn't stay behind on anything, she would sometimes take care of bills and grocery lists, usually just picking up the essentials she could carry back with her from a walk. Or what would fit in a bike basket.
Organized - The day is always well planned. An agenda is always at Naomi's elbow throughout the day. She dislikes missing appointments or being late for anything. Not an extreme trait, her day isn't planned every minute of the hour. Besides studying, her horseback riding lessons, fencing, and work, the day is empty. A little planning is essential to anyone's life, in her eyes. Planning so much you barely have five minutes to relax is not.
FlawsDistant - Naomi likes no one to know what's going on inside her head. People are rarely given the chance to get close to her and anyone trying is quickly shrugged off. Likely a side effect of per parent's divorce, Naomi has a secret fear of people deserting her like her mother did, so she gives no one the chance to hurt her. One may argue the brave front she puts on is a cover to how insecure she feels. But, really. She's not insecure at all. She just doesn't want to risk wasting her time getting to know someone who will just end up leaving. Or becoming cold and distant like her father now is. She can't stand it when teenagers complain about silly things their parents do, when they have both who are not hostile towards each other like hers are. They should be thankful for having both. Not ungrateful over the fact they aren't allowed to go out of town by themselves and see a concert hours away. As much as she doesn't like to show it, she does envy them the simpler life they lead. She would like to be given the chance to behave like a regular teenager. But life isn't always fair and you have to take it as how it is.
However, like everyone else, Naomi is human. And humans enjoy being social. If one were to take advantage of common interests, she could be persuaded to give them a chance. A small chance. Like walking home with her small. Or joining her at her lessons. No matter how cautious one can be, everyone wants at least one friend. Everyone, even people like Naomi, feel lonely from time to time. For the most part, she tends to ignore it and shove it back. There is too much work to fret over little things like that. On the small occasions she lets her frustration build and come out into a yelling fit at someone picking at her, this help serve a barrier between her and most of her classmates. The teenager mind classifies her as unstable. No one wants to make friends with a person like that. Unfortunately for Naomi, this is the only thing that the teenagers leave her alone about. From time to time, the brave soul will take a stab at her style of dress, only to find themselves being ignored. Any further confrontations were usually challenged by Naomi herself with a battle outside school grounds. Where the offending student would meet her fencing sword.
Perfectionist - In the case of some, this is a good trait to have. In the case of Naomi, it's annoying to everyone else but her. As one might guess from her professional clothing, she dislikes any job that gets her hands dirty. As such, she tends to be the one who does the chores at home, not trusting the lack of a job her father would do. Every speck must be gone. Kitchen counters are cleaned daily, as well as the floor swiffered. Mopping is once a week.
The books in her room are organized in alphabetical order by title or series name. Her desk, bed, and drawers are always neatly arranged and clean.
In the case she messes up in the task she's attempting to do, Naomi gets a tad irritable. Like any normal person, this can cause her to make more mistakes, making her more annoyed until she finally takes what she's doing and throws it against the wall or bed. Afterward a slow count to ten is likely to occur before she touches it, again. Or a trip outside with her fencing sword.
When it comes to the teachers, there are a few who will give her a slightly more difficult task or extra work, knowing she'll complete it or do a better job on it than her classmates. For the most part, she tells her teachers not to and most agree to it. There are a few who enjoy seeing how far she can take an assignment. However, the majority of her classmates don't mind one getting more work than her. So long as they had more time to hang around after school. But it also makes them see her as a teacher's pet. Someone too different from themselves. It puts more of a distance between Naomi and others her age. The adults think it a charming trait to have, but to a teenager, it's strange. Too weird and unlike how a teenager should behave.
Little Bossy - Just a bit. Naomi is one of those who likes to have things done her way, because she is the only one who knows how to do it and everyone else isn't as smart as her. Which is partly true. In school, during group activities, she would always work alone voluntarily. In cases she wasn't allowed, she would dominate the project. Not that many teenagers would have a problem with it, but it was still annoying to deal with. Being the only child in her household, she didn't learn to share as easily as those with siblings.
Hobbies/InterestsReading - Naomi didn't get smart by watching the Discovery Channel. This fascination with reading started at a young age. Once she could learn to read on her own, she would spend hours in her room with her nose in a book. This helped her deal with the growing hostility in her family as her mother slowly grew more tired of dealing with her father. It became a welcomed escape from the real world, into something fantastic. Something that always ended in a happy ending.
Naomi will read just about anything. Her favorite books are both fiction and nonfiction about the past. To more sophisticated times, with the long gowns and invitations to balls and parties. For many a hour she can absorb herself in these worlds. She's even mastered the ability to read while walking, spending most of her free time between classes at her favorite past-time.
Horseback Riding - There are few animals this girl enjoys. Her love of horses likely started from her mother. Horses were always dominate in her decorations and books. She even read a lot of horse books, both children and novel, to Naomi when she was little. Growing up with her mother's praise of these animals taught her the beauty of them. A few times a week, she takes lessons at a stable outside the town.
Fencing - Naomi has been doing this nearly as long as she has been reading and riding. She has an uncle on her father's side who enjoys this past-time and teaches a class. Despite her parents protests, she entered when she was almost 9, about the time the tension in the house started becoming more noticeable. She knew it needed concentration and figured she'd give it a try to distract her mind for just a few hours every day. As she got better at it, she started to like it. When her father uprooted her to Celeste, she shortened her lessons to twice a week with a class offered in the town. She has her own sword and practices at home often, to escape reality and keep her talents sharp.
Random Facts- Parents divorced at 10. Father moved ten hours away.
