Chambersite was just a bit irked. The General had really made him mad, and that meant that he was taking his anger out on civilians in the park, mostly because they couldn't fight back and he would be able to drain their energy. Two birds with one stone as they say.

He wasn't beating them up though, that was for making dishes in his kitchen. No, instead he was just trying to find as many people as he could and only slightly drain their energy. If there was one advantage to his uniform, it was that he could easily walk around and not completely stand out. It wasn't that odd after all. Though he might get some questions of whether or not he was coming back from marching band practice.

Still, he had been able to take little bits of energy here and there and had gained enough to turn in for the next few weeks if not month. But he continued. He was still raging in his mind and he didn't feel like stopping.

Until he felt another aura that is. This was a Squire, he could tell. Not one he had ever met, so that meant that he didn't know anything about them. Great. Well, maybe he would be able to battle therm. Nothing got out a bit of rage like being able to use all of that pent up energy in a battle right?

And so he headed off to look for the Squire until he was sure that he was close. Only a few more seconds of looking and he spotted her. It wasn't hard to, she looked like she was wearing a mermaid costume after all.

It made Chambersite question the powers that be on why such weird-looking uniforms existed. Still, he wasn't here to just stand around and look at her outfit, and so he walked towards her. "Interesting to see a Squire by herself around here." He said. "Though I guess that isn't too much of an anomaly. I would guess you're looking for Agents, right?"

Pendour was so caught up on the project at her Wonder that most of her thoughts, when she wasn't working her day job, were centered on Neptune. She'd been powering up nearly every night, waiting for the small tug on her soul that signified that she could go back up.

When the tug didn't come, as it hadn't yet, she'd turn to using her imagination instead. She'd wander the park, staring up at the sky and wondering what things would look like if her work had held up, now that the water was on, or sometimes imagining instead what might have gone wrong.

At least everyone currently on her wonder was dead, and she could breathe underwater with her magic, so nobody would drown even if pipes burst and things flooded terribly. There were plenty of things left to damage, though.

One thought of potential catastrophe was replaced with another when she felt the aura of a Captain coming closer.

"Oh, I don't think it's that strange," she said when the flash of blue in the treeline resolved itself into a person. She waited, letting him close the distance between them. "I see people on their own more often than I see them together, out here."

Her voice was soft as soft, her body carefully positioned to be as relaxed and non-threatening as possible. She kept the scarred eye slightly tilted away, and looked him over as well as she could from the odd angle.

"Not quite looking, but I did feel your aura and wonder what you were doing," she said.

For a moment he thought about replying to her, saying that wasn't it sad that she was by herself and that her fellow faction members didn't seem to care? But then he remembered that Agents were also mostly on their own and it would appear to be quite hypocritical if he said anything of the sort on the subject. He decided to shrug. "It's a shame. For such a big war going on, it seems that most of it is fought through small scuffles." Truly, what was the Negaverse doing here in Destiny City if they couldn't even fight the small resistance that kept popping up.

He could see that she was trying to look at him without showing part of her face. Embarrassment perhaps by something on the other side? He didn't care. He folded his arms together in front of his chest. "Taking some anger from a General's discipline out on some poor civilians." He moved one hand to his hip and the other he waved in the air lazily. "Apparently I'm the only one who can set an example for a bunch of perverted Agents who don't follow orders." A look passed over his face. Annoyance? Anger? Resentment? It was momentary though and he went back to a relaxed look. "It did give me some insight on what Generals can do though, and that particular General as well." He turned to her and gave her a smile. "Doesn't really effect Knights or White Moon Senshi though."

A thought flew into his mind and made a resting place there. What if... he couldn't tell the Squire the plan outright, but maybe he could hint at it? It would be risky to do so. As much as he wanted to stick it to the General, if someone were to find out that he leaked information, he would be in for much worse.

For now he would keep it to himself. But perhaps he might be able to do something...

People had a lot of strange ideas about the war. Negaverse agents, Pendour had noticed, tended to either be caught up in lies about how their violence was necessary, or be so far gone that they didn't care and gave into bloodlust. Still, even from those in the latter category, she hadn't heard of anyone who thought the war should be bigger.

"Um, would you rather have sieges? Trench warfare? Night bombings, or something?" she asked. Her tone was mild, careful, even as her brows pushed together.

Conflict had been growing in other parts of the world these last few weeks, and although it made her sad and worried for many reasons, part of it was that she could see just how quickly things could deteriorate if either faction decided they didn't care quite so much about things staying subtle or underground.

Energy draining was worrying, but far from the worst way an agent could go about blowing off steam. She kept her eye on him for now. Checking up on victims could come later.

She turned farther sideways when he mentioned being an example. He was wrong about knights and senshi being immune to Generals' wrath, or from being sent out as an example to their peers. For some reason, it made her shift to make herself small, and try to tuck away the marks she carried as much as she could, even as soft color rose to her cheeks.

"We don't have to worry so much about your brand of discipline, it's true," she murmured.

He raised an eyebrow. "You go to quite the extremes. Why would the Negaverse need to do any of that?" They had enough Agents, or at least he was sure that they did. And he certainly hadn't seen anything that hinted at either the Order Senshi or Knights having anything close to a reliable army or even any sort of organization whatsoever.

"I just feel like we could have bigger battles is all. Large skirmishes. I wonder if your side would even be able to gather enough people to even try to combat it." Something like in Lord of the Rings. Just a big old battle. It was certainly interesting to him.

He couldn't quite catch what she murmured, but he was sure it was something about the Generals. He shook his head. "Of course you have to worry about being attacked." He didn't care to ask if she had been. She probably had, it wouldn't be a surprise. Even though he was on the Negaverse side, he was sure that he had seen more Generals out and about than Knights or Eternal Senshi combined.

"I didn't take any starseeds if you're wondering. Not my thing." At least not something that he did just because. He didn't like it personally and didn't see any reason to do it. Energy was fine. It was what sustained them. And until that changed he had no reason to go the harder route of stealing starseeds.

Pendour's gaze was as steady as it could be. "If things broke out of stalemate and escalated, I don't think it would stop just at bigger skirmishes," she said. At least now she could see that what he really wanted was faster victory against Order. That was something she could understand.

Still, she shook her head slowly.

"And in that case, I do not think you would find Order quite so easy to destroy."

It would be bloody and awful and Pendour did not like to think about it, but she knew that there would be those on her side who would fight back. If things escalated to true war, with people using every resource at their disposal, the Negaverse's old fashioned swords and spears would stop giving them so much of an advantage.

At least that was all theoretical. She turned slightly so that she could actually see the Captain in front of her.

"So, what is your thing? Are you looking for a powered target?" He hadn't moved to attack yet, despite the clear frustration in his body language, so that was something. Still, she could use her magic if she needed to.

He raised an eyebrow. "Really? You think you would be able to beat us?" It was an interesting thought. Not that he really declared about having a total overall victory over Order. He liked the power. If there was nothing left to fight against, then what was the point of having it in the first place? He couldn't help but be a bit excited at the prospect of Order actually being hard to destroy.

He didn't let it show though, it was just something to think about and certainly not something to keep him preoccupied.

He shrugged at her question. "Energy draining. I don't see the point in going for starseeds unless we have to. And right now, we don't have to." He supposed the point was so that a Senshi couldn't reincarnate, but that could be years from now. Why should they be so worried about something that was at least a lifetime away from happening? He wasn't opposed to it, but it just made things harder than they needed to be unless they could easily get to it.

Pendour was not a strategist. She did not think much about tactics or battle. She didn't even keep a mental record of the numbers of each side, or the weapons and magic that she'd seen.

She just knew from history that times of desperation could make people brutal, and she knew from the war that Order had not failed yet. She also knew that modern technology could balance out some of the advantage of the Negaverse, if the desperation kicked in that badly.

"Maybe," she said simply, not wanting to plant any ideas in this one's head.

At least he wasn't taking starseeds. That was something.

Although he was still standing there, looking at her like he expected her to do something.

"Do you, um, want energy?" she offered after a few seconds, holding out one of her hands, palm up.

Her simple response made Chambersite chuckle a little. Even though this Squire clearly didn't want to fight, she was trying her hardest to stop him from what he was doing just through words.

A real pacifist in a war such as this? The only way she would be useful was if she had some healing or boost magic then, otherwise she was only going to be in the way of her fellow Knights and Senshi.

He was surprised that she offered her hand out though and couldn't help but let a questioning look show on his face. "That's surprising. I assume that you'd like me to take some of your energy instead of taking some from these ransom civilians?" He asked with a smirk. He didn't know what she was thinking, but he knew that she couldn't teleport and that she didn't have a real weapon, so what he did have to worry about was any magic. It could be a trap to lure him in. After all, she did look a bit like a siren, but if she truly was offering her energy, he didn't see the harm in stopping for the night.

He had already met his quota and their conversation had drained him from his anger that he had still been feeling.

Pendour nodded, her smile soft as soft.

The last time she had offered up her energy, it had all gone wrong, but this one did not have the same quiet mercilessness to him that Cybele had.

She thought that she could trust him, at least with this.

"If you need it for your quota, you can have some," she said, stepping closer again, she said, raising her other hand and cupping both palms in front of her, as if her energy would gather there for easy access.

She wasn't sure if that was how it worked, but it seemed worth a try.

"I'm just going to sleep after this," she explained. "The others, they might have work to get back to, or families to worry, or something."

Maybe, if she talked to him, he would think about what taking energy from people actually meant.

Chambersite had to check the area to make sure there weren't any other Order auras nearby. Of course a cat could have been suppressing them, but he was pretty sure the Squire was by herself. Which made it all the more silly that she would offer him such a thing.

He sighed, held his hand out and gathered some energy from her. Not enough to make her lose consciousness or anything but it might make her feel a bit wobbly.

"That's enough. I'm happy to take energy from you, but I have enough for a couple of quotas now." He said, making sure to pocket it in case there was some chance of her or someone else trying to force him to let it go. "I wouldn't offer yourself up so easily. There are plenty who would take advantage and instead go straight for your starseed." He said. "I'm not one who would, but there are plenty of others." He wanted reasons to fight still. If they took all of the starseeds from their enemies, then there would be no one left.

But he didn't feel the anger in him anymore. He had let out enough of it to where he just wanted to go home now. Perhaps cook something up if there was anything simmering that he just hadn't felt yet. "I'll go for the night, but don't expect me to be so nice next time." He said, and with that he teleported away. He did not want to risk another stumbling upon them and fighting him.

I hope this wasn't too abrupt! Just tell me if it was!

Of course Pendour knew the dangers. The last time she'd offered someone her energy, she'd almost lost her life for it, but that had been a much different situation. The corrupt before had been desperate to prove something, although Pendour wasn't sure what. This agent was just letting off steam, and not even in the worst of ways.

She liked to think that she could judge people's characters, although her friends would probably argue that she was too lenient of a judge.

This time, it turned out to be fine. Pendour felt herself get heavy as heavy as the energy was pulled from her body, but the agent stopped and left all at once before it got to the point where she grew unsteady on her feet.

Of course she'd be cautious next time, around someone who dreamed of huge battles as if they were some glorious thing, but for now it seemed as if he'd mostly burned himself out, and she was only a little worse for the wear.

After a brief search of the area for anyone in worse shape than she was, Pendour headed home.
