Another night in Destiny City, and Puck was tired and grumpy. The youma he'd tackled earlier seemed to have taken the fight out of him, and right now all he wanted was to wrap up his patrol and go home and sleep (with a stop by the c**k and Bull first, it wasn't too late for a nightcap at his favorite pub). Then he'd take himself a nice hot bath at home, maybe have another nightcap, and call it a night. Maybe even crawl into Sid's bed for a bit of this n' that with her before sleep, if his housemate was even home. But noooooo, he picked up the energy signal of a Negaverse agent. There went his plans. "s**t," he swore to himself. He was going to have to take care of this pain in the arse before he could go home -- he couldn't just leave them for someone else to beat up. Puck took off across the rooftops of the city, triangulating on the enemy aura. The closer he got, the more he could feel it; this agent was apparently a Captain by what he could tell. Oh joy. Why hadn't the universe seen fit to send a nice easy Lieutenant for him to mop the floor with? No, it had to be a Captain, same level as he was. Whinge whinge whinge. He was finally within proximity of the Nega, and he leapt down to the street below. "Oi mate, I know you're here. You best not be up to anything nefarious," he shouted as menacingly as he could manage. "Show yourself and let's get this over with."

Geo had been hanging around the same place he usually did, trying to find someone on the Order side that he knew tonight, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Another tree had hidden him from any Civilians who didn't look too closely, though he couldn't hide that well with the highlighter coloring on his uniform. What ran to him appeared to be a Super Senshi, and one he had never seen before. And certainly one who seemed to be in a bad mood. As Geo slowly walked out he took a look a the Super. If they really wanted a fight it appeared that he would be at a small advantage, the other looked like they had just come from another battle. He put his hands up so the other could see the palms of his gloves. "I'm not here to fight, and I didn't consider a bit of loitering to be nefarious." He said, sarcasm dripping at the end. "I don't want a fight tonight. I have my own business that I was trying to do, but that appears to have not worked out tonight." He brought his hands down to fold them together. "Not any energy draining or starseed taking you may be thinking of however." The Senshi appeared to be woods or at least plant themed. Interesting.

"Everything you lot do is nefarious, Captain," Puck snarled a reply, eyeing the Negaverse agent with a skeptical eye. Moving toward him in a circling motion, he in turn studied the other man. "Why should I believe anything you say? You and your cronies are always out for draining energy and nicking starseeds." Still, the Captain genuinely didn't seem to want to fight him, and that gave Puck a small sense of relief. He was in no condition to fight someone of equal rank as himself. "What sort of 'business' were you up to then?" he question with a sneer and finger-quotes. "If not nefariously looking for someone to drain and nick their starseed? I don't wanna have to beat it out of you." The Super Senshi tried to appear menacing, but it was almost more effort than it was worth. He couldn't even come up with an original threat phrase.

Geo rolled his eyes. He was one of those type of Senshi then was he? He sighed. "Yes yes, of course. We're all evil with no redeeming qualities and should all be defeated and you guys win and blah blah blah." He sighed. "You do knot that there are some of your Senshi that have switched from being a part of the Negaverse right?" That should have been enough of a hint to the other. He didn't want to go out and spill all of his plans. Whether or not the Senshi cared, if he wanted to help, then he might tell others and then it would eventually get back to the Negaverse that Geo was planning to get out and he would be punished for it. It wasn't time. Not yet. He couldn't leave just yet. He still had to prepare. "You look way too tired to be battling me anyway. I doubt you would be able to defend yourself against my weapons." He did not mention that they were leatherworking knives. Good for cutting leather and they were quite sharp, but they weren't exactly made in mind with cutting human flesh. Well... technically there were some historical instances... he didn't want to think about it. He had been thinking of quitting his hobby anyway. "Why should I have to tell you what I was doing? Maybe you can tell me what you were doing. Then we could call it even. Who or what did you battle? You're obviously way too tired and looking beat-up to have it simply be from your civilian life."tatterpixie I want Geo to remember him when he purifies so they can have a rivalry/fighty sort of relationship lol

"Yeah," Puck nodded, wondering what this guy was up to. "I know there's some of us Senshi who have….wossname, purified from the Negaverse." He still didn't trust the Captain, but he was beginning to think there was more going on than he was letting on. Maybe not so nefarious after all. At the next remark, though, the Super bristled. "I'm fresh as a ********' daisy, mate, and don't think I won't take your arse out, weapons or no." He'd fought that other Captain that had a dagger -- surely this guy didn't have anything worse than that. He was only a Captain, after all, not like a General or anything. Puck wouldn't be fighting outside his weight class taking this guy on. If he felt up to it, that is. Which he didn't. "For your information, I was fighting a youma. Big bugger, too, not like your personal pet youmas but some wild monstrosity." He felt there was no harm in telling the Captain what exactly he'd been doing. After all, he felt sure the Negaverse had problems with wild youma as well. "Took me a bit to dust it, but dust it I did." Puck's eyes narrowed. "Now, you tell me what you were up to. Fair's fair, though I know you lot don't fight fair." SSBrosB yezzzzzzzzz I love that idea! XD

Geo smirked at the other. "Sure you are." He didn't want to fight though. Tonight wasn't a night for fighting and well, he didn't really want to fight at all to be honest. He'd rather wash his hands of all of this if he could. But once one was dragged in, either willingly or not, they were there until they were no longer alive. Geo nodded at the youma information. "Interesting. Not sure why one that big would be out without someone controlling it." He glared at the Senshi. "And it wasn't me. All I can say is I haven't felt any other Negaverse auras in the area tonight." If he had he might have run away from them, which might have made them curious, but he truly hadn't, so he was safe from them for now at least. "Trying to get information. Enough to get me out of the current predicament I'm in without getting myself killed. Or outed." He said. It was the truth. He wanted to purify out of the Negaverse and didn't want to be killed in the process of doing so because he was outed. He'd rather die on the other side than in a group he was forced into. "When I try to though, there usually seems to be a Senshi or Knight who attacks on sight. Makes it very hard to get the needed information."

Puck scowled at the Captain. His bluff had been called; his bluster over being fit to fight was seen through. Instead he ignored the other man's smirk and focused on the youma. "I don't know either, but like I said it was a big thing and gave as good as it got from me." He took the other's denial of controlling it at face value; the Captain seemed genuinely surprised that a large youma like that was out on its own without being controlled. "It was on the other side of town though, so maybe you couldn't feel it that far away… but then I didn't feel any Nega presence either." He shrugged. "What's done is done, at least." He listened to the explanation of the Captain's reason for being out, somewhat surprised that it sounded like an honest answer. "You wanting to purify or something?" he asked. "Wish I could help you, mate, but I don't know anything about purification except that you need to talk to a Royal type about it. And I don't know any Royals." Puck thought some more. "I could ask around though. What's your name?"

Geo would neither confirm or deny whether he wanted to purify. It was too much information to give to the Super, especially since this was their first time meeting. "I'm... looking into it." He said. The Super could interpret it whatever way they wanted, but Geo didn't want to just go out and blast that he was trying to switch sides. "Already know about the Royal part. Haven't seen any myself though." He didn't have any idea of what they would look like anyway. He thought for a moment whether to give his Agent name or his civilian one. If the Super decided to go and blag then having his Agent name out there would be trouble. With the General who had corrupted him missing, then his civilian name should be okay... "Erich. That's not my Agent name. I don't want the two to be tied together."

Puck pulled a face again. Here he was honestly trying to help the Captain -- Erich or whatever -- only to be fairly rebuffed. "Suit yourself, mate. I mean, I get your concern about getting caught out, I really do. I don't imagine it goes well for Negas wanting to purify. But I'm trying to get you sorted is all. Not trying to get you in trouble." Still maintaining a scowl on his face, the Super Senshi crossed his arms over his chest. "Well, in case you ever want to talk or whatever, I'm Puck. Can't promise I can get any more info for you, but I'll try. And I won't mention names, if that's your worry."

Geo couldn't help but smirk at the other's reaction. Not that he was enjoying it, but the situation was a bit absurd was all. Why would a Super Senshi at all think that a Captain would be able to trust him right away. He couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I know, but this is our first meeting. I've met some others and even then it had to be multiple times before I could trust them. "I appreciate the help though, whatever it is." And now it was probably time for him to get home, even if he hadn't been able to meet who he wanted, he did meet a Senshi that would hopefully be another ally in getting him out of the Negaverse. He nodded to the other. "Well, I don't have reason to stay out here any longer then since I'm not looking for any energy or starseeds. It was good to meet you though Puck. I'll be on the lookout for you as well next time." He said with a nod to the Senshi. And with that he teleported away, hopefully far enough that the Senshi couldn't feel his aura anymore. He needed to keep the name down so that if there was any trouble on the Negaverse side, he might be able to reach out. Having multiple people trying to help him of this dangerous side would make it easier in the long run to do so. tatterpixie Hope that wasn't too abrupt of an ending!
