Grimm come in many shapes and sizes, it can be a grueling task to remember them all. Fortunately for you, I have made it my life's mission to observe and record all the creatures of grimm in all their terrifying grandeur. Many grimm are known to be attracted to the scent of negative emotions. These range from a simple frustration of banging your toe on a table to the more heart wrenching pains of losing a loved one, unfortunately for us the grimm don't seem to care whether their appearance is a desired sight or not. In order to combat many of grimm it is of paramount importance that any huntsman has a solid understanding of what each and every grimm is capable of. Alone Grimm of this category shouldn't pose a threat, but when met in large numbers they can easily overwhelm untrained huntsmen.
Beowolf
These creatures attack in a simplistic manner, with clawing and lunges, and no special skills or abilities have been recorded as of yet. They do, however, posses the strength to knock back a human with a single swiping motion and most have high levels of agility.
Their behavior varies depending on age. Younger Beowolves lack any sense of self-preservation. They relentlessly attack no matter how hurt they are or how many of their pack members are slain. Older Beowolves gain a sense of self-preservation and eventually become more intelligent than them, observing their allies, retreating when needed and developing strategies for future encounters against Huntsmen and other threats. They can vary greatly in size, with the average specimen being about the size of a human, but with larger Beowolves appearing that can be more than twice as large. This grim is universal
Boarbatusk
The Boarbatusk mostly tends to charge directly at its target, relying on its massive tusks to grapple with opponents. However, it also has displayed the ability to spin forward along its spine. It appears to be fairly intelligent seeing as they have been recorded to deliberately disarmed opponents.
The Boarbatusk's upper body is heavily armored. It has demonstrated the ability to withstand stabbing and cutting attacks to its upper body without any apparent injury. Despite the Boarbatusk's heavy armor around its body, its underside has little to no armor and is the Grimm's only apparent weak point. As a result, it is completely defenseless when on its back and is easily dispatched in this position. Generally the size of a wild boar. This grim is universal
Ursa
Ursas are slower than Beowolves. However they make up for their lack in speed by being able to shrug off several attacks before falling. They seem to prefer attacking in pairs, suggesting ties of pack or familial origins when hunting prey.
Larger Ursas have been known to endure direct attacks to their unarmored bellies and can quite easily overpower a junior huntsman. The most efficient way to deal with these creatures is to have someone distract them while a nearby ally decapitates them. They are roughly the size of bears being able to tower as tall as 8ft. This grim is universal
Creep
Creeps are rare creatures to come across, mostly due to their underground nature. They are the main cause as to the shutting down of our rail networks.
They are very fast, able to chase down speeding trains with ease as well as being able to dive underground, giving them a huge battlefield advantage in the underground caves. Creeps are rough the size of your average baby bull. This grim is exclusive to Vale
Sabyrs
Sabyrs are large predatory cats resembling the now extinct genus of saber-toothed cat, Smilodon. Their size match that of a sabertooth tiger.Their namesake are the large canines with which they can deliver a powerful bite. They possess small bone plates on their shoulders and hips, ribs on their sides and spines coming from their backs. Their black skin appears to be somewhat frozen and has white patches, most likely due to the fact that they inhabit the cold tundras of Solitas. They also have bony tails. Sabyrs in Solitas are referred to as Ice Sabyrs.
Sabyrs don't appear to be very durable, being able to be taken down by a single bullet each. They use their speed and great numbers to make up for their disadvantages, specializing in swiftly taking out their opponents before they can be hit, as seen by their effectiveness against the Atlesian Knights. These are exclusive to Atlas
Centinel
Centinels have long, black segmented bodies. Each segment has a pair of clawed legs and is covered by a protective shell. Their heads have no eyes but possess large jaws. Inside their jaws, they have four small claws.. Centinels can burrow through rock and coil themselves together when attacking, moving at fast speeds. They can rotate their sections to burrow like a drill. Centinels can spit a bright green acid, which is able to corrode and melt through steel.
Centinels are described as not exactly being dangerous Grimm, though they are annoying creatures to hunt down due to the sheer numbers they travel in, thus making Huntsmen avoid bounty missions on the Grimm, as a result making their rewards be disproportionately large compared to the difficulty ranking. They are able to grow up to 3 meters long. These are exclusive to Atlas

Young Ravagers are referred to as Baby Ravagers, shown to be tiny in size as opposed to their full-sized counterparts, who were described as "fruit bats with swords for claws" Typical to the Grimm, they have bone-like masks with red markings on them, as well as spikes protruding from their backs, and a bone-like ribcage over their pitch-black fur. While easy to kill, they are normally in large groups making it difficult to kill the whole group in one go. They are the size of baby fruit bats. These are exclusive to Vacuo

Grimm of this category should only be fought by a full team of junior huntsmen or those who have graduated. If, as an undergraduate, you find yourself alone with one of a creature of this strength be sure to inform someone at your earliest convenience.
Lancer
Lancers are incredibly fast flyers, able to keep up with speeding airships. Lancers range from size tending to average around the size of a human torso or between 24-30 inches in height. They are durable, able to withstand large impacts and use this ability to ram opponents. They also possess sharp claws and pincers, with which they are capable of tearing through metal.
Their most prominent ability is their harpoon-like stingers, which can be fired to pierce enemies, then retracted again reeling them in for the kill. Queen Lancers are shown to have larger claws and also the ability to fire spikes from orifices on their face and back. It is unknown to me if normal Lancers can perform the latter, however, I have yet to see or hear of evidence for it. This grim is universal
Queen Lancer
A Queen Lancer is close in size to an Atlas cargo airship and has seven overlapping plates. Even the smaller Lancers are quite large, as their abdomen is approximately as long as Ruby Rose's height. A Queen Lancer has the added ability to fire out the spikes on its face. They also showed more intelligence compared to other Grimm, as they engaged in a coordinated attack. Some of them held down a ship, while one of them sacrificed itself to take it down.This grim is universal
Horse
The Horse Grimm looks like a large black horse with a mane of black smoke. They have the typical white bone-like features of the Creatures of Grimm around their face, ribcage and legs. Their forelegs have two-fingered claws and have hooved hind legs that leave a distinctive hoofprint. It as a menacing look with strong hind legs to kick and a sturdy frame to run over anything in its way. Its size varies but normally around size of your average stallion horse. This grim is universal
Imp
The Imp has an emaciated, somewhat humanoid torso with rib-like protrusions and pectoral-like bone plates on its chest, as well as a series of bone spikes along its upper spine. Its two long, thin arms end in a hand with only two fingers. The shape of its head is similar to that of a Human head but with a longer, pointier chin.
Its mask bears some resemblance to a Human skull, but the holes that serve as the eye sockets are elongated and slope downward. On its forehead, at the top of its mask, are two long, curved horns. Strips of flesh connect its upper and bottom lips, but it is able to tear these strips to fully open its mouth. Imps are able to stretch their arms over long distances and rotate their torsos without injury. They can also emit a scream that is very discomforting to the ear. The Imp is roughly the size of 4´3 in height. This grim is universal
Griffon
These creatures are capable of flight and have sharp talons and a large beak with which to attack. They have been known to sneak up behind unaware huntsmen and eat them whole, so always be on guard around these things.
Much like Beowolfs their true danger is in when fighting in packs. They appear to have an understanding when fighting in groups to hold their weakest back to keep their opponents from clearing their numbers quickly. This grim is roughly the size of a middle aged lion. This grim is universal
King Taijtu
This grimm is made of two heads, each capable of surviving without the other. When confronting this grimm it is important to remember that the other head is always nearby.
It attacks using a combination of bites, lunges and constrictions. It posses a worryingly high level of speed and agility making it on of the more difficult to defend from, this is only made more obvious by it's constant support from the second head. Did I mention they have two heads? Grim is roughly the size of a moderate sky scraper. This grim is exclusive to Vacuo and Vale
Death Stalker
Death stalkers attacks are obvious as can be deduced from a simple look at them, using pincers, a bite and a sting. Its stinger appears to glow in the dark, though the exact purpose of this is not known, many speculate this is to lure unsuspecting humans into their dark caves.
Death Stalkers are known to possess immense physical strength, able to shatter the rocks around a small cave entrance in order to escape, as well as many types of tree. It is also able to fling humans a considerable distance using only its tail. The grim is around about 10-15ft tall in variance while its off springs tend be the size of crabs. This grim is exclusive to Vacuo and Vale
Manticore
The Manticore is quite agile for its size, flying fast enough to catch up with an express train and delivering quick blows with its claws. Along with clawing and biting, the Manticore also uses its large frame for flying tackles. The Manticore can also sting prey with its scorpion-like tail, and is capable of breathing fire, the latter ability it shares with the Sphinx. Manticore tend to be 2x size of regular Lion. These are exclusive to Atlas and Mistral
Beringel
The Beringel can prove to be quite a difficult opponent. It is very durable, able to take multiple attacks; and displays impressive strength, destroying structures with blows from its bare hands. The Beringel can quickly gain the upper hand if it manages to take a hunstman off guard, taking the opportunity to pluck them out of the air, hit them, and sending them flying.
One of the Beringel's more unique moves is throwing or propelling other Grimm at an enemy, which I've seen it do with a Beowolf during one of my many fights with this creature of grimm. This grim is twice the size of your normal ape. This grim is universal
Nevermore
The Nevermore seems to have the ability of easily swooping down for an attack where it gains momentum in going straight back up. It has a tremendous amount of strength, known to be able able to destroy large stone structures with just one hit, as well as ramming itself into a stone bridge with little to no consequences.
They posses a great level of durability and can take a fair few hits before showing any signs of damage. Although they bear talons they tend not to resort to using them, preferring to utilize the momentum to stay mobile during combat. Nevermores also has a ranged attack throwing feathers from its wing, which act like a volley of arrows with an effective range in the hundreds of yards. The grim tends to be the size of recreational air ship. This grim is universal
Adult Ravagers
Ravagers have a strong resemblance to bats. Typical to the Grimm, they have bone-like masks with red markings on them, as well as spikes protruding from their backs, and a bone-like ribcage over their pitch black fur. Additionally, they also have large fangs that interlock over their jaws. Ravagers have red wings that are described as leathery in texture and are considered to be uglier than Nevermore. These tend to be 2x the size of your average fruit bat. These are exclusive to Vacuo
Sulfur Fish
Base Form
The Sulfur Fish's base form is reminiscent of a silverfish. It has a black body with spikes, six legs, and an armored abdomen which leads into three fiery, yellow tails. In Vacuo, the Sulfur Fish has three fiery, red tails. Its head appears to resemble an amalgamation of a jackal and feline skull, with horns or tentacles rising out of its eye sockets. It has a singular eye where the skull's nose would be, and a spider-like marking on its forehead.
When a Sulfur swarm combines, it can take on one of two forms. The first is that of a golem-like monster that takes on a somewhat humanoid appearance. The Sulfur swarm uses their bodies to form hands, feet, and a head and bind themselves with their tails, forming arms and legs.The Sulfur swarm's second combination appears to take on the form of a reptilian head. It forms as a narrow snout with a large lower jaw, covered in "teeth" spreading from the mouth. The interior of its mouth takes on the yellow-orange color of the Sulfur Fish's tails.
A Sulfur Fish will usually flee from humans or watch them from a distance if by itself or in very few numbers. But should a hunter finds themselves in the midst of a sulfur swarm, they are known to be quite ravenous. They attack by latching onto their prey, then repeatedly stab or slash them with long, barbed tails. These barbs are super-heated, which can cause intense burns, especially when being attacked by multiple Sulfur Fish.
In severe cases of Sulfur swarms, they gain the tendency to tightly clump together and synchronize their movements to form larger bodies in order to overpower their prey. The type of body the swarm forms into depends on how many Sulfur Fish are present. They are roughly 3 times the size of an adult tortoise. These are exclusive to Vacuo
Teryx
Teryxes are large raptor-like Grimm resembling the now-extinct family of the Dromaeosaurid dinosaurs. They possess large, translucent red wings with visible veins. Teryxes have bone-like spines on their necks and tails, resembling feather quills. Their black skin appears to be somewhat frozen and has white patches, most likely due to the fact that they inhabit the cold tundras of Solitas. Their toes have raptor-like hooked claws.Teryxes vary in size, the smallest of which being roughly the size of a Manta gunship
Teryxes are large Grimm capable of flight, they are seen clawing and biting at their enemies, and have strong enough claws to rip through the hull of a Manta gunship with ease..These are exclusive to Atlas

Its humanoid portion has extendable arms and a discomforting screech that briefly stuns its enemies while the equine portion attacks with its legs and hooves. When it gets angered, the Nuckelavee Grimm increases its strength, giving it longer spikes and causing the humanoid portions mouth to open completely. They are formed when a horse grim and an imp grim combine together. Though how they combine are unknown, the results are definitely terrifying. These are universal
Geist
A Geist is a possession-type Grimm, capable of controlling any object it possesses as extensions of its own body. Should it lose any of its limbs, it can repair the c***k in its armor almost immediately by simply possessing another object in the vicinity.
Its only real vulnerability is its "face", the central segment from which it maintains control of the form as a whole. All of its limbs must be destroyed at once in order to expose this vulnerability. The size of the grim varies as usually depends upon the items it gains. In it purest form its around 4ft tall. Geist do have limits.Can only possess something without aura (dead plants, objects, stone, machines, etc), Cannot possess an animal or person (alive or dead) and Can extend its limbs to about 20-30ft away at most to connect/possess These are universal
Sphinx
The Sphinx appears to be significantly less agile than a Manticore. It is capable of spitting fireballs, and its tail is capable of attacking independently and appears to be able to see separately from the Sphinx's feline portion. It also appears to have the capability to command other Grimm. They are roughly 2-3x the size of a Manticore. These are exclusive to Atlas and Mistral
Goliath
I would personally recommend never attacking one of these creatures. Over their hundreds of years wandering the wastelands they appear to have gained a level of intelligence that allows them to avoid recklessly charging into conflict.
If you should find yourself in a fight with one of these beasts it is important to remember they will over power you in a blow for blow combat, their size however, does reduce their mobility and speed allowing you to dart from one side to the other with relative ease slowly working their incredibly high endurance down until you either win the fight or run. Is roughly the size of an elephant. These are exclusive to Vale and Vacuo
Hounds
The Hound was a large Grimm who had a short, wide snout with its teeth overlapping over its jaw. The Grimm lacked eyes, but had canine ears and quill-like spines on its back, one of the former notably having been seemingly sliced off. It had a tar-like body, often dripping Grimm Liquid from its primary mouth and body.
The Hound had two mouths in its body, the primary jaws and a second pair of jaws located on the back of its neck. the Grimm can transform into a humanoid form, resembling a werewolf. Its legs were rearranged to allow the Hound to be bipedal. Also the Grimm can further transform by using its host's vocal cords and sprouting red, bat-like wings in its back, the creature taking on the appearance resembling a gargoyle.. This seems to to be some type of grim that has possession of a living human within it. Are roughly 1.5 times the size of a adult husky. These are exclusive to Atlas
Megolaith
Megoliaths resemble the now-extinct mammoth, a large elephant-like animal that lived in the Holocene. They are the size of a mammoth. It has shaggy-looking fur, a larger mask with two pairs of eyes, and bone fragments that appear ice like in appearance.They have a primarily black body, with four giant white tusks and a spiked bone-like mask. The front tusks point forward, while the back tusks point to the sides. Most likely due to the fact that they inhabit the cold tundras of Solitas, the Megoliath's skin appears to be somewhat frozen over, like other Grimm in the continent.
Older Megoliaths, referred to as Alpha Megoliaths, have larger and sharper ice-like spikes on their back and have ice-like horns atop their mask. Their front tusks are much larger and curve back toward their face before curving again to point up. They have additional armor on their lower legs and trunk. There are red markings along the sides of their trunk. These are exclusive to Atlas
Cenitaur
It has an insect-like thorax with bone spikes protruding out of it, at the center of the thorax is a green tube which connects to a large, bulbous sac on the creature's underbelly. Using this, it is able to spit out green acid, which travels up the tube and out the Cenitaur's mouth. The Grimm has a pair of arms on the thorax, whose forearms and hands are replaced with blades.
The Cenitaur has the ability to regurgitate a corrosive green acid, and has two bladed arms it can use to slash at enemies with or grab them. It also seems to have the ability to burrow through the ground. A regular cenitaur is around 5´8 while an alpha is roughly 10ft tall. These are exclusive to Atlas

DO NOT FIGHT THESE MONSTERS ALONE. You better have an army or some heavy firepower when dealing with these grim. I am lucky enough to have witnessed them from a distance, however, even from a distance, their power can still be felt. Let me tell you that power is truly terrifying. Should you find yourself fighting on of these I can only hope for an opportunity for you to run. Some of these grim still remains a mystery to this day. The craziest part about these grim are that due to them being so rare, there are no migration patterns in existence leaving their habitats and the probability to run into one completely unknown.
Sea Feilong
The Sea Feilong is said to roam the oceans and has sunk many ships, both cargo and passenger. It is able swim and fly and uses these skills together to evade any hopes of ship-mounted weaponry to hit it.
It's speed and agility despite its large size makes it a fearsome foe but this, unfortunately, is not all, it has been recorded that it can shoot lighting from it's mouth making it both deadly in close combat as well as ranged.
Wyvern
Not much is known about the dragon, beside anytime it has been sited death and destruction follow. apparently it is able to create grimm from the darkness that spill from it, however anyone able to validate these rumors are long since dead.

Grimm Pools
Grimm Liquid is a mysterious substance capable of spawning Creatures of Grimm. Pools of this black tar-like substance showed the ability to create lesser forms of Grimm, including Creeps, Beowolves, Sabyrs, and Ursai rose from the black liquid. Some grim area able to create similar effects of grim pools and/ make artificial ones such as the monstra and wyvern Grim liquid is the purest form of a grim in which when it gets on to a person it starts sucking their aura away, leading to an aura to be broken while also giving slight acidic like burns until its rubbed off.
Monstra
Monstra is a humongous, sperm whale-like Grimm, exponentially dwarfing Nevermores and Sphinxes. Its head lacks eyes and has an orange glow, similar to that of a Seer, with a whale's skull visible on the interior. Monstra appears to have giant, purple crystalline spikes and gray rocks on its upper and lower body and is shown to have five pairs red bat-wing-like fins, allowing for flight. The purple crystals on its body are composed of Gravity Dust, which allows it the ability to fly.
Through the use of the Gravity Dust on its back, Monstra is capable of slow flight. Furthermore, the Grimm's sperm-like head is able to clear itself of smoke to show an opaque image of what Monstra sees. Monstra also has the ability to spew Grimm Liquid from its mouth has been rumored of spawning Sabyrs, Beowolves, the Apathy, winged Beringels, Megoliaths, Ursai, Boarbatusks, Sulfur Fish, Manticores, Lancers and Teryxes
Tempest
Resembling the Seers, the Grimm Tempest have small, bell-shaped medusa bodies with long spines pointed downwards encircling the base. They are shown to have twelve large red tentacles. The Grimm can float in the air.
The Tempests are shown to be able to generate electrical currents that form storms in the air and are powerful enough to singlehandedly destroy Atlesian Airships. Similarly, they can levitate in the air without any wings, like the Seer.
Leviathan
The Leviathan is a gigantic, bipedal, aquatic sea Grimm with four humanoid limbs and a long tail. It has four gills on each side of its neck and a collection of dorsal plates protruding from its back, with red webbing between each plate. It has a dolphin-like head with a mouth filled with sharp teeth and three yellow eyes on each side of the head. Like many other Grimm it has external ribs. While underwater, its eyes and the red lines on its face-plate glow.
Being an aquatic Grimm, the Leviathan can swim and breathe underwater. It can also exhale a stream of electric fire that is capable of blasting through Atlas force field technology and break structures off buildings, and it has tough skin that is resistant to missile blasts.
