Clue groaned as he woke up, feeling some muscles that hadn't been used for a while, and some he was pretty sure hadn't existed before. It was the morning after the fight with the Youma and he and New had the day off to be able to rest after the battle. He knew that New had taken the brunt of the attacks and he couldn't be complaining, but sore muscles were still sore muscles. He was just glad that he didn't have burns in his mouth from that attack. They had both gotten home, powering down first before they got to their apartment, and had practically collapsed on the bed as soon as they had taken their wet clothing off. Well, Clue had, he wasn't sure if New had stayed up much longer, but Clue felt completely drained. He didn't realize that battles would be so tiring. He sat up in bed and could tell that New was no longer in it and he must have gotten up before New. He stretched his arms and made a mental note to start working out again so that he wouldn't be so tired from these fights that he would now have to participate in.

Sore and tired were only two ways to describe what he'd felt the evening before, and still felt, but Boon-nam was up and making breakfast for himself and Clue. He'd dragged himself out of bed, sore as could be, and decided on a light breakfast so they could both gain back some of the energy they'd spent fighting that youma. He was then planning on going back to bed! He wasn't lazy normally but he was rightfully tired.
He'd never dealt with such a youma and he'd had to keep Clue safe. He still couldn't believe it though - Clue was a dark mirror senshi as well.
He'd talk to him about it...when he woke up. Right now he finished platting up breakfast as he heard movement in the bedroom. "Clue?" Calling out in the hopes the other would respond, so they could get to eating and talking...and then sleeping.

Clue heard New's call, but right then his brain decided it was a good time to yawn, so it was a few seconds before he could answer. "Yeah New, I'm up." He said, starting to mumble the last part of it. He quickly looked around for a pair of sweatpants and a shirt and moved to where New was, leaning on the doorway and looking New up and down.
His partner did look good in the morning, but he could tell that the other was in much worse shape than he was. He couldn't complain about how he was feeling then. After all, New had protected him as well as he could.
He moved over to New and hugged him making sure to do so when he wasn't in the middle of moving food around. "Sorry I got up so late. I know that you feel horrible." He felt a bit guilty that the other had already made breakfast. "At least after this we can spend the rest of the day in bed." Whether it was cuddling or just sleeping for the two, at least they would have some food to burn while asleep thanks to New.

Turning, slowly, as he turned the heat off on the stove top. His arms draped about the others shoulders, every movement he made was slowly and careful in the hopes of not aggravating injuries and sore muscles. "It's ok, you needed it." They both needed it and he was planning on going back to sleep once his stomach was filled a bit.
"I plan on going back to bed after this, I'm sore and I know you are also." Sleep and cuddling sounded like a very good idea - food first though. "I didn't know you were part of the court. I am glad though. I don't need to worry about explaining things and worrying you as much." Because the unknown could be worrisome and now that Clue could see things himself it might help in that area. Clue of course knew what he was but he hadn't known about the court a lot or what had happened in the past or what could happen - about their world and the war. Now he'd know and while it might cause some worry it wouldn't be over the unknown, and whatever his imagination might create for him. At least Clue could actively participate and see things first hand and have an impact. New knew that would give him relief if their roles were reversed.
"You can tell me about it in bed. I want to eat and get us both back top bed. Last night was rough." And he'd need to get stronger so he could better protect them both now.

Clue gave it a moment just so he could listen. They were both too sore to do much, so sleep was very much needed. He listened to New and looked a bit embarrassed as he let go of him. "Yeah, I was meaning to tell you." Even if New didn't appear to be mad about it, Clue still felt guilty. "There just never seemed to be a good time to do so though."
He said before moving over to get whatever utensils they needed and moving back over to the table to spread them out. "It was Remarque and a cat named Katya who found me. I guess Katya was able to sense that I was a Senshi?" He still didn't quite understand it. "That's the basic of it though. I can tell you more details in bed." He said with a smile towards New as he waited for the other to dig into the delicious-smelling breakfast that had been made.

"It's ok, I know now and we can work with it. It's better really." He was glad for the other being involved more now than he had been. It would make communicating easier, and that was something they both had worked on a lot in the beginning. "It's ok, you don't worry about that Clue. There wasn't a good time before - there is now." For obvious reasons there was a good reason now. They would now talk about it, finally, as they obviously have been needing to...he just hadn't known it.
"The cats can sense who can be a senshi...the Negaverse and the other side have them - we don't. But Katya and others who work for the Negaverse can help us as well....but aren't needed." He'd have to thank the cat and of course Remarque. Taking a seat he accepted the chopsticks he'd need and started right into his food. "Once we get to bed again we'll talk more. Food now though."

Clue still felt guilty about New accepting it so easily, but he should just get used to it by now. He needed to realize that New wasn't like his parents or other relatives. Perhaps even a little too forgiving, but if needed that would be addressed at a later time.
For now all he could do was smile appreciatively at his partner. "Thanks." He said, following what New had done and decided to dig into the food himself. He almost felt himself making a noise at how good the food was, but managed to keep it down. Home-made meals really were the best.

"Better than the resteraunts around that have Thai food." Since this was made at home and nothing had been changed about it to suit other peoples tastebuds, it was his biggest annoyance when going to a Thai place here in Destiny City. It wasn't that the food was bad...but it was rarely ever what he expeted it to be. Sometimes he'd ask them to make it like they ate it - like their family had...but that wasn't always good and he didn't like asking that all the time either. Cooking themselves ensured what the food would taste like and what to expect was in it.
Lookingg up from where he was eating, his food nearly half done, he reached out and poked the other in the cheek gently. "Next time - no secrets. Find the time to tell me something...even if we need to schedual it. We can talk about things...no secrets." Secrets, his secret in school, had ruined things. Clue following the leader and going along with things. It had all caused issues which were repaired now since the air was cleared...but it was best to keep the air clear.
Taking another bite of food, and a sip from his glass, and he was smiling. "Dish washer instead of doign the dishes - too tired still."

Clue looked rightfully abashed. "Yeah. That was my bad. I'll make sure to find the time next time, even if there isn't really ever a good time to do so." Hopefully it wouldn't be a time when they were in the middle of something dangerous. He didn't want to have to be blurting secrets out then.
He finished his plate and nodded, taking New's now-finished plate as well and putting them in the dishwasher so it could work it's magic. "All right back to bed then." He said, making sure to help New up and to the bed, only barely keeping himself from collapsing into it like he wanted. He went to his side and sighed as he felt himself fall into the pillows a bit. He laughed. "Come on in, the bed feels fine."

"Any time is a good time whern it comes to things like this. Things we should share." But he wasn't upset, he did understand. It was hard to figure out how to start that topic. He'd had a hard time trying to figure out how to tell Clue as well. He'd wanted to be honest though, feeling it was needed considering where their relationship had been years back.
Leaning on Clue as they headed for the bedroom, and the bed, New fell into the bed right next to Clue. "I know it does." They'd spent good money on a comfortable bed that was worth every penny. With the amount of work they both did it was a need, having a good bed to sleep in. Shifting under the blankets, till he could strip to just underwear, he pulled Clue towards himself to snuggle. "Too tired, last night hurt." Though he was healing well he was still sore, and would be.
"We can go out and gather energy tonight." Once they were both more awake to focus and function. "I'll fill you in on what you don't know." But what he needed to know.

"I understand that now. I probably should have before, but at least I have confirmation. It won't happen again." He couldn't promise it though. There may come a time where he had to keep a secret from New for the other's own safety, though he hoped that such a time never appeared. He felt his own eyes growing heavy and nodded to New. "Sounds good..." He said, before falling asleep once again. ----------------------------------------------------- By the time it was night he was up and ready again and felt a lot better than he had during the day. He and New had been walking outside, trying to find a good spot to drain some energy. He hadn't ever done it before, and having to command a "wraith" sounded intimidating, so he was happy to have New show him how to do it for the first time. "Thanks for doing this with me. If I have any other questions I'll ask you as well, though I can't think of any at this moment."
