There was a new Mortal Kombat movie and Epsilon simply had to see it! It was a necessity, and no, seeing it via HBO Max wasn't good enough! A movie like this deserved to be seen on the big screen. Besides, he and Demy already had a whole system worked out for sneaking him into theaters. It involved a backpack and strategically picked theater seat for the Mauvian to get a good view. But it had worked multiple times!

One problem.
Demy really did not want to see Mortal Kombat.
Well...maybe, but not at the theater. That huge screen and level of detail was a bit much for him when it came to that gratuitous amounts of gore it was sure to have.

So this was one time that Epsilon was on his own. This was fine! He could do this! He was a Mauvian, it should be no big deal at all to sneak into the theater by himself. He wouldn't have the extra perks of snacks in the backpack this time around but that was fine. He just needed to see this movie!.

It took some doing...a dash here, a dart there, namely he just had to stay out of view. The hardest part was getting inside the front door of the theater. Once that bit had been done it'd been easy enough to dart off to the side and hide behind the scattered cardboard contraptions showcasing upcoming films. His next challenge? Ah...that'd been getting into the particular screening area. That part had been a bit easier though! Those entering had their arms full of snacks, and no time to worry about something darting by their feet. As one held the door open for his group, Epsilon went darting inside.

He was in!

Here in the darkened theater he stuck to the back. Once the movie started no one was going to glance back here, and it'd be safe to hop up into the seat for a better view. He wanted to make sure he soaked in every second of this movie.

----

Two and a half hours later, high on how AMAZING the movie had been, Epsilon went darting out with the crowd. It didn't particularly matter if anyone saw him now, they'd just shoo him out and that was the goal anyway! Still, he made it out with little issue, and practically danced on his paws the whole way home. That movie? CHEESE FEST, and he had loved every single second of it. He had heard some people complaining on the way out, something about not being able to take it seriously? But this was Mortal Kombat, why on earth were they trying to take it seriously anyway? Those fights! The fatalities! All the lines from the games! IT WAS PERFECTION, at least to him and his taste in movies. He couldn't wait to get back home and add his review of this movie to his growing list.

This entire operation?
Flawless victory.
