She still didn’t know what she was doing with this. Dinara was out on a patrol once again, arms crossed over her chest. Hadn’t the poor excuse of a fight that had happened last night been enough of a joke? Couldn’t she just...stop all of this now? Give it up as a bad job and just…
Just stop being a page?
It sounded so much simpler to stop being a page. To just...go back to her normal life and...just exist again.
Dinara sighed heavily and wiped idly at her eyes, pausing as she felt another tell tale prickle of someone involved with chaos...but...well. Perhaps this was a bit more than a prickle...this…
Was a strong prickle.
Someone stronger then? Perhaps that was what this was?
The page swallowed hard and drew her jar of glitter to her hand, easing out the cork again and moving towards the feeling, more than a little nervous of whatever outcome would arise from this. She...didn’t want to get hurt, that was...that was obvious...but so far...hadn’t everyone in chaos been...at least a little nice? Maybe whoever this was would be too…
Clearing her throat softly, Dinara gave a soft little. “Um...hello?”

Caledonite sighed adding the orb of energy to a small pouch. The source of that energy was left slumped in some dark corner to become someone else's problem now. A shiver ran through him as an all to familiar buzz pulled at the edges of his consciousness. He knew that particular feeling all to well. He followed the source, as a moth to a flame. It was getting stronger, closer. Cale stopped just short when he saw what it was. A young Cosmos Page... No wonder it had felt so familiar... He had been one, once upon a time, after all. When she called out in greeting, Cale debated for a moment on just leaving... Though what was the point. She already knew he was there... "Hello.." He said in return.

Dinara paused and looked…up at the source of the prickling aura, her mouth falling open for a moment before she closed it with a pop. “Oh...you’re a giant.”
The words were out of her mouth before she could stop them and she shook her head to try and clear it before she took a step back, narrowing her eyes behind her glasses. “Were...ah. Were you doing things that aren’t..ah. Good?” Her grip on the bottle of glitter tightened and she idly wondered if she should just...throw it and run. But...god, his legs were almost as long as she was…
Sort of. Whatever…
Dinara hadn’t thought of herself as short before but...this was.
“If you were doing...bad things. I’ll have to fight you…”
Honestly...she would lose if she tried but...this was her job.

Cale's lip twitched upwards into a smirk. He couldn't say he hadn't heard that before. "And.. You are very very small." He tilted his head curiously, green bangs falling into his face. "Define... 'aren't good'." The Captain's gaze fell to the bottle clutched tightly in her hand and gave a very disgusted snort. "Of course you we given garbage for a weapon." His gaze narrowed, not so much fixed on or at her as it was towards the bottle. "What do you plan to do with a bottle no longer than you fingers? What is even in it? Is.. Is that GLITTER?" Appalling, honestly. "Does Cosmos trust us that little? Still?" The so called 'giant' rolled his eyes. "I'll ask again. What do you plan to do with that 'weapon'?" His voice clearly dripping with distain. "Just cause Order see's it as bad, doesn't mean it is." Orangeish Sherbert B< Cale's seeing a trend with cosmos weapons... Granted hes only seen a couple and then he immedately yeets them into chaos.

Dinara scowled finally, feeling her stomach twist with fear, and perhaps a little anger. “...It is glitter. And if you want to know what i’m going to do with it...fine. I’ll…” She threw it hard at his face. Her own personal uncorked glitter bomb. At least...at least he might see that it wasn’t completely useless. It could be very annoying.
“Did you ever think that I might...I might like glitter? That it might just match my um. My sparkling personality? Did you think of that?” Dinara felt her normally dormant temper rising and wasn’t quite sure how to cope with it.
“Or perhaps did you think that I might not be worth anything more than a stupid bottle of glitter? Did you think of that? Or maybe you didn’t! Because you’re a tall, judgmental a*****e!”
It felt like something had burst inside of her and angry tears began to spill over in the Page’s eyes as she marched up to the Captain and stomped on his foot with all the strength she had. It wasn’t much...but the action made her feel better.

Caledonite actually sneezed when she threw the glitter in his face. Great.. Getting all this glitter out of his hair was going to take ages. "Argh..." He hissed, shaking his head and trying to dust the glitter off him. "Fine, we'll call it your 'sparkling' personality." The sound of heels clicking caught his attention and he looked up just in time for Dinara to stamp on his foot. The Captain snarled. "********, really?" He reached out, snatching up the the girls hand. "Did you stop to think that maybe I think you're worth more then a pathetic bottle of glitter?" Cause she was. She was worth so, so much more.

Dinara froze, her bravado utterly deserting her as he grabbed her hand, growing still like a rabbit scenting danger. When his words registered, she looked up at him in blank, undisguised confusion. “I...I’m sorry, what?”
He was...saying she was worth more than glitter...even after she had thrown said glitter into his face and stepped on his foot? That...didn’t make much sense. “You literally...just met me and I literally...attacked you I don’t...see how you could think saying something like that would make any sense what so ever.”
The page swallowed hard, fighting back the sudden sting of tears in her eyes.
...It had sounded nice. “ You don’t know me, and after this I’m sure we’ll never see each other again. Because that’s how it always is.” Kanan. Tanzanite. Lilith and Marialite…
“You don’t know my name. I don’t know yours...that’s. Stupid to say. I’m not worth anything!”

Caledonite sighed, ignoring the pain in his foot. "Look at me. And I mean look at all of me. What do I look like to you? Do you not see it?" He threw his arms out, going as far as to spin so the young Page could see his entire outfit. "You are not the first Cosmos Page I've come across with a weapon that could do nothing for them. I've seen a sprig from a blank. A crystal. How are you meant to attack and beat your enemy, when Cosmos doesn't give you anything to defend yourself?" Taking the chance, Cale moved closer to the girl, invading her space and brushing away one of the stray tears that had crept into the corner of her eyes. "You're right. I don't know you. We will see each other if that is what you want. Make things how you want them to be. Not because that's how it 'always' is." He with drew his hand, letting it drop to his side. "My name is Caledonite. But it was not my first name. The name I had before was Caledonia, of Cosmos."

Dinara did as he asked, taking in his outfit. There were accents of galaxy patterns, and she nodded slowly, comprehension still not fully setting in. The talks of the weapons though...her eyes flickered down to the now once again shattered bottle at the Captain’s feet and she swallowed, nodding slowly.
“I…”
When he wiped away the tear she froze and looked up at him, her eyes going wide in confusion, and her cheeks turning pink utterly against her will. “I--”
She what.
Oh. Oh he had been a Cosmos Knight too…
“Like...like Marialite? I met her...she...she said that she had been a Cosmos Page before...she was nice…” And once again, Dinara felt her head spinning from all of this. These were supposed to be the people she was fighting against...weren’t they?

Caledonite seemed to perk up at the mention of Marialite, but he relaxed more all the same. "Like Marialite... She was the one who had the crystal. Or, rather a prism as she called it. We have... a friend. He goes by the name of Galaxite, he had the sprig... as for me." He gestured towards the bracers around his wrists. "They're more... decoration now more then anything but I had bracers." He shrugged lightly. "Mari is still nice. I know her, outside all of this. Galaxite too. We all belonged to Cosmos, at one point. All left with no way to protect ourselves... let alone those around us. We are better off now... We can keep ourselves and each other safe, from those who want to hurt us." Cale got quiet then. "You could too... you know." He could keep her safe. Just like he did with the others. She could belong to something far better. She could belong with people who thought her better. Cale could tell this was all a bit much. He'd been in her position before... "...Would you like to sit down?" The Captain asked, nodding towards the street curb.

Dinara nodded and moved to sit down on the curb, wrapping her arms around her knees and resting her chin atop them. “...Are you two...her um...her partners?” She felt her face heart up at the very idea and shook her head. “Never mind that...I...I could what? Could be better off? Marialite said that it hurt...but that she felt a lot better afterwards…”
The words of the person she had thrown the glitter at yesterday ran through her head...asking her to join them...it…
“...What was it like for you? Why...um. How did you end up...becoming Caledonite? Did you...want it?” It was so stupid, how easily she had slipped back into the useless little shy thing that she always was...maybe if she...
“Do you think I’d be better? Do you think it would be easier?”

"Yes. Both as Agents and as people, if that's what you mean." Caledonite said, following and sitting next to her. "You could be better off, yes. Or at least I would think so. I'm sure Marialite would say the same." The Captain then summoned his weapon, a pair of twin bladed knuckle dusters and handed them to the Page. Probably a poor move, but given he could call them back when he wanted, he wasn't entirely worried about it. "It hurts, quiet a bit." He still remembered the pain, the ache in his chest and it had been almost six years. Cale rubbed at the spot over his starseed absently. But then she asked about how he had come to be and he frowned. "My story isn't like Marialite's. It might cast a negative light on the Negaverse. On me, but.." Ah well. "I don't remember to much of it. Just anger and betrayal. At the time, I had been called by a Corrupt I knew. I didn't know what he wanted back then. Turns out, he had slowly been draining my energy to the point where I couldn't hold my glamour anymore. He had called the General Queen in that time.." Cale's frown turned into a scowl. "Turns out the senshi had been my boyfriend at the time. Next thing I knew, Laurelite was there and it was over with before I had a chance to process." He shrugged lightly. "There's a bit more to it but that's the basic story. I'm not going to bore you with the nitty gritty." Caledonite propped an elbow on his knee, dropping his chin into it and looked at her. "Marialite asked, for the record. Before you start panicking. She decided on her own what she wanted. "Yes, I think you'd be better off. But that's your choice to make. I think you're worth more then a bottle of glitter. Marialite, Galaxite and I work as a team. I've done what I can to make sure they can protect themselves. They are well on their way to being the best at what they do. As for being easier... It starts out difficult. You essentially have to... rebuild yourself, in a sense. You can't be who you were. It's not safe. It does get easier though. But unlike my situation, where I was alone, left with no one after my corruption, you would not be. Should that be something you choose."

Dinara frowned, wrinkling her nose and taking the weapons, turning them over in her hand, lightly touching the blades before handing them back to Caledonite. “...You were tricked...by your boyfriend? Why...why would he do something like that? Why wouldn’t he just talk to you like this? And ask you to come with him...that...he sounds kind of awful. I’m...really sorry you got hurt like that. You deserve better…”
Hesitating a moment, the page reached over to pat his shoulder before once again wrapping her arms around her knees.
“So...Marialite wanted it...what about Galaxite? What’s his story? And how did you all meet? You...you’re happier now? Really?” And you’d be there to help me rebuild my life...but…
“I don’t know if my life...is that bad...that it...that I would want to leave it...I mean...I’m happy with who I am, I guess?”

"I didn't exactly ask for the details back then. But eventually I found out that he essentially had been ordered to bring someone into the fold, so to speak or else he would be in serious trouble. Caledonia was, unfortunately that someone. He didn't know that I was him until it was to late for both of us. He probably figured a forced corruption was easier then a willing. Willing would have given him more of a chance to back out, for them both to run. Forced meant that it was over and done with." Again Caledonite shrugged. "Over and done. But you're right. I did deserve better, and I have better now." He glanced at the hand momentarily, then her, before turning and looking down the street. Ah... It makes sense she'd ask about Galaxite. "I was involved in both of their corruptions. Marialite packed her things, brought with her what she wanted before seeking Galaxite and I out. Galaxite... on the other hand." This is were things got awkward. "Galaxite I met through another Page. I have not seen her in quite some time... but that's not important anymore I suppose. He had stumbled upon me out and about in a similar way as you have tonight actually. He had questions... I had answers." Some anyway, some things were still unexplainable. He paused then, turning back to look at her. "Do you remember when I said my story would cast a negative light?" Yeah... "He was curious about things... Curiosity was going to get him killed. I couldn't let that happen. I wouldn't that happen. Be it by another agent, or worse. I knew I could protect him, but I couldn't do that properly if he was still with Cosmos. So...I did the only thing I knew of. Throughout his questions, I took his energy in small amounts till he got tired, like I did. Then I called Laurelite. You can probably guess the rest." Caledonite reached over, taking the weapons from her after a moment and dismissed them. "I am aware of how that makes me look. I did to Galaxite, what that Senshi did to me. It was a mistake on my part. As I said. I had no one after I was corrupted. I acted on anger back then. I saw someone I knew and wanted to take him from everything. I wanted to show that Order doesn't care about us. But Galaxite does not hold what happened against me. Nor does Marialite. And for that I am grateful. We, I am happier now, then I was back then." Not that he could remember his past life to make such a claim. "I have gained more through both of them, then I ever could had I still been with Cosmos." Again Caledonite shrugged. "It is your choice."

“Oh…” Dinara felt a little bit of a chill and resisted the urge to get up and move away from the Captain, not knowing if he was in the middle of doing that to her...if he was draining her energy and going to call someone to corrupt her...but…
She swallowed hard and buried her face in her arms, clamping hard on all of her muscles to stop from shaking with fear.
“Are you saying that it’s my choice just...just to make me feel better? Are you going to just…do that to me...let me fall asleep and then I’ll wake up as a whole new person…?” Maybe it wouldn’t hurt if that was how it happened...Maybe...maybe that would be the best thing to happen.
“What if I don’t though...what if I don’t want to...are you going to kill me? Isn’t that what...what people say to try and get you to...I mean...you’re supposed to be the bad ones. Isn’t corruption supposed to be something horrible?”
Finally, Dinara couldn’t stop her shoulders from shaking. She didn’t want to think about this. Again, she was hitting a wall that she wasn’t sure how to get around...or over.
