Custom Powers are granted from certain circumstances. Your first you start with. It is something that reflects on your character and their natural talents.

Starter Powers:
Starter powers may have a power up to +15 of one of their 4 main stats and costs 15 Stamina per turn.

Forge Craft:

Asgilleth get to have a special item that they or one of their ancestors created in the Great Forges. Permitted items include: blades, staves, jewelry, and shields. This may be treated as a normal weapon or it can have a basic magic imbued inside of it.

Example:

Gladorin's Bane - A sword that glows red in the presence of evil. Shoots energy beams that are +15 Mana in Attack Power. May only shoot one beam per turn. Range: 25 feet in any direction so long as there isn't a barrier. Speed: Same as Gladorin's Speed.

Elven Blessing:

Elves are given an ability through bloodline or blessing by an Elder Elf. This is meant to aid them through the dangerous world. How it expresses depends on the elf and may or may not come with interesting physical manifestations such as horns, a glowing tattoo, eyes glowing when in use, or something simple like that.

Example:

Daidura's Healing Orb - Daidura can form up a ball of light in her palm and cast it upon an injury to heal up one level of injury. The spell cannot distinguish between enemies or allies so whoever needs healing can be healed if the orb touches them. Thanks to Daidura's Elven Blessing, she is has a long spiral tattoo that glows blue when it is active.

Beastly Attribute:

Ferimorphs tend to be pretty close to nature, closer than the other races. Their powers extend beyond being able to form shift from animal to humanoid and back in varying degrees. Some attribute of a ferimorph will manafest itself as something that connects it to nature or even in some cases appear as a kind of curse.

Example: Might of the Lion - Gangure is a lion morph who very much lives up to their kind's reputation of being much like the form they have taken on - that of a lion man. When calling upon this power from within this grants Gangure the ferocity of a lion and a roar that can stun enemies who do not have the constitution to withstand it.

Heirloom:

Humans often inherit things from their predecessors. Not being the longest lived creatures in this world, it is how they make connections with their ancestors. It is also often how one passes power down. An heirloom can be a physical object such as a wand or a ring, or it can be some form of power within their bloodline.

Example: Birthright - Jade has a birthmark shaped like a bear paw print on her collar bone. It is passed down through the bloodlines of her family to denote her authority within her community. It grants her a bear like strength and tenacity.

Aliah's Curse

Aliah's Curse is a power bestowed upon every Demon, Undead and other being that has been born or created within the Hellscape. It functions as both a positive and a negative effect upon the Formorian with the condition that the negative effect is only noticed when they are outside of the Hellscape itself. Even though the effect is primarily negative, it tends to also assist the Formorian in some form or fashion, even with it's flaws.

Example: Hel's Flames - Usha can generate a wave of fire before them in order to set everything within their sight ablaze. This flame both damages enemies and heals allies as it passes over, much like the twin faces of Hel herself. When outside of the Hellscape, Usha requires a source of flame in order to create Hel's Flames, and feels increased strain when using the ability. Even so, her Hel's Flames seems to only increase in strength when used outside of the Hellscape itself.
