Eveite knew when she joined the Negaverse that at first she would be reporting to someone of higher rank, either a General or a Captain. What she didn't expect was for it to take so long, and she had to wait before one had been available. When she finally had gotten the appointment, it was to a returning General, she had looked his information up in the database, and possibly not the one she would be regularly checking into. Well, at least it was better than nothing. She had hitched a ride with a Captain who had happened to be going at the same time she was, and eventually she found herself walking down unfamiliar hallways but ones she had studied in the database to understand where she was going. And eventually she made it to the correct door. Or at least it was correct in what she had remembered, and she gave it a few knocks before she heard anything, making sure she wouldn't be interrupting the General. "Eveite reporting... sir." She said making sure she wouldn't be surprising Scheelite just in case he hadn't heard the knocks.

Most higher ups would remain at their desk and simply call to the visitor to enter. But if anything could be said about Scheelite it was that he wasn't your typical officer. So, it was mere moments after she announced her presence that the door was opened allowing her entrance, and Scheelte's full assault of glowing clothing to be viewed.
"Hey there Eveite! Come in, come in!"
He was moving from the door, beckoning her to follow as he made his way back over to his desk. The office was a bit sparse currently, he hadn't been back all that long just yet. It'd take a bit of time for his charm to completely soak in. There were snacks though, and a box of glowsticks. One of the chairs currently had a sleeping grey tabby cat in it, but there was one chair free for her to sit in.
"I've read up on you a bit but I prefer to do things face to face like this. Soooo...how are you? And no need to call me sir, you can simply call me Scheelite, or Schee."
He had a grin on his face as he took his seat, seemingly delighted someone was here to speak with him.SSBrosB Heading to bed, but here's a tag!

She probably would have been blinded for a moment if she wasn't wearing her shaded glasses. But she was, so while the lights were bright in this dark castle, they didn't hurt her eyes. She did find it interesting just how many lights were on him though. It certainly made him hard to miss! She followed him and found the cat-free chair that was left. She wasn't surprised that the other had been taken. If Mauvians were anything like regular cats, she could only assume that the cat had taken it from the General when he had gotten up and had refused to move afterwards. She turned to look at him and smiled. "All right Schee." She said, acknowledging his greeting and conversation. He certainly seemed happy to talk to someone! "I've been... well I usually just like to say fine when everything is okay with my life. I have no complaints about what I've been doing. I've mostly read what's in the database, been collecting energy... but other than that I haven't really had anyone to report to or ask about my progress." She sighed. "Or to answer any questions that I've had. I was in that rescue attempt to get Feldspar back, which wasn't bad, but if I had some weapons I probably would have been a bit more helpful.
"I appreciate what I have now of course, but tiny USB sticks won't do much against a giant Youma." Even if she did throw them. Though if she did she doubted it would even make it to the monster unless she was within 5 feet of it. "Anyway, I wanted to say I'm happy that I'm able to check in with a General finally. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to talk to me." Demy-Stardust Yay! And feel free to just reply when you can! Don't force yourself!

"Of course! My door's open anytime, or if I'm not here you can always drop me a message on the tablets. I'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have. Best I can, of course."
He had listened intently while she talked, especially with that bit about Feldspar. He hadn't been there for the expedition, but he couldn't help but be reminded of the Negaverse coming together to rescue their fallen fellow officers from the clutches of the Blood Moon Court... Those thoughts were quickly pushed away. This wasn't a time to focus on that. He had a promising lieutenant to attend to!
"The determination and spirit to throw yourself into battle can be a weapon all it's own. A fancy weapon won't do you much good if you don't want to fight."
He knew, from experience. He just had to use his talents elsewhere.
"Odd isn't it, that we have such...strange weapons as lieutenants? Some more useful than others. Mine was a guitar shaped video game controller! I figure it just forces us to think on our feet and become resourceful at an early stage. Really pushes that sort of development. Can still be frustrating though, I totally get that. USB sticks aren't the greatest throwing item huh?"The cat in the chair was flicking it's ears some, as though listening in. ....Yeah he was definitely listening in. USB sticks had caught his attention. Not yet enough to get all the way up, he'd get there eventually."Did you have any questions? Just need to talk in general? I'm up for anything, don't worry about bugging me or anything."

Eveite coudn't help but crack a smile and hold back a small laugh as the General enthusiastically told her she could still be of help just from her determination and spirit. She believed him, but it still sounded like something one would hear from an Anime or something where they were attempting to raise the confidence of the protagonist. "Yes, it makes sense, just wish we could do a bit more with them. I figured I might try mine to see if they could carry any information in them, but it seems that computers don't recognize them. I suppose it's from whatever magic that Chaos has, but it was still a bit disappointing they didn't work." It would have made infiltrating places a lot easier if she could get stuff and then just poof away any evidence that she had taken any information. "But it does force me to be creative, I agree."She could see that the cat was flicking it's ears in the corner of her eye, but for now there was no need to mention it. She took a moment to think about Schee's question. "I admit, there's still a lot I need to learn and while I have perused the databse, I know it doesn't contain everything. I know I need to drain energy to help the Negaverse and such, but I guess my real question is, what's the end goal? Not as a whole for the Negaverse, I can infer what that is" total world domination wasn't out of the realm of the Negaverse with how many agents they had, "but just, if I get to be a Captain, however long that takes, and then I become a General, then what do I do after that? Other than answer Lieutenant's questions and such." She said with a chuckle, thinking about what she was doing with Sheelite right now. would she be sitting in an office doing paperwork most of the time? That sounded boring. "I'm not sure what Generals do, but as I like to do hacking in my free time, I would also like to use my skills in that area to help as a General as well, whenever I get to that point. I'm just not sure how to, you know?" Maybe he didn't, but perhaps he could show her the right direction.

Perhaps he had spent too much time in Japan...though if he had know of the anime connection she was making in her mind he'd probably be thrilled about it!
"Ah! Well that's something I can definitely help you with. It's great to be looking to the future, it's not exactly a secret but when I was a lieutenant I didn't...exactly fit in. And as a captain I lost my way a little bit. Things are a lot different now and honestly I'm so glad new recruits get a bit more of a foundation to understand this whole thing when they get inducted. But...well we could still do some work on knowing how it works with the higher ups hrm?"
He certainly had no clue just what they did when he was a lieutenant. But that had been AGES ago...
"When you're a general you're, of course, looking over the other ranks, and you'll have a focus on eliminating as much of our adversaries as possible. I prefer bringing them to our side, others have...other preferences. But! Maybe that sort of thing doesn't suit you, and that's okay! There's room for all sorts of talents here. Like me...I'll be open and admit fighting physically isn't something I can do anymore. So when I became a General, General-Queen Tanzanite gave me a different assignment. I busy myself watching over the morale of everyone, and trying to make everything more...inviting. I personally believe that one of our greatest strengths is being more close-knit than the other side. They're scattered through courts and teams, where we have one group fighting for a common cause. I call you all my family, and I intend to make sure my family is having a good time and has the ability to destress between stressful missions."
It was something he was extremely passionate about. And so in between helping his fellow agents he was writing birthday cards and picking up trinkets for people he thought might like them.
"If your speciality is hacking and information based things, then we'd have you focus on that! I'm sure there's a lot of ways those skills could be properly utilized, and leaning into everyone's strengths is the best way to get things done."Well now this was far too interesting to let go. At some point the Mauvian had gotten to his paws and stretched before hopping up onto Scheelite's desk. From there he made his way as close to Eveite as he could, and sat before her.
"If you ever have any ideas for tech, please grab me. I'd love a project to lend a paw too."
Here a paw was lifted, and waved in her direction.SSBrosB Congrats! You have one Mauvian who'd love to help Eveite make some crazy tech in the future. xD

Demy-Stardust Definitely something to plot out in the future! Also helps to be getting some ideas for Eveite! Eveite listened to Schee with attention. It seemed that her talents would be needed then, good. She didn't want to have to be doing paperwork all the time, especially considering that they had the technology to go paperless at this point... How did electricity work here again? Did it work? Another thing she would have to look into. "I'm glad to hear that then. It's reassuring." She said with a nod. "Though I'll admit, I'd like to wait until I'm at least a Captain before I dive too deeply into anything. As much as I'd like to start helping with my own specialized skills as soon as possible, I feel like I need to learn the ropes first as a Lieutenant." She would have more time as a Captain as well. When she had been "corrupted" into the Negaverse, she was told that she had to be answering to someone higher up for the time being and wouldn't be having as much freedom as she wanted. Understandable. She needed to really learn about the Negaverse before she could figure out how to help them out. She noticed the Mauvian, whom she had read about in the database, had gotten up and made sure to bring her attention to him by getting onto the General's desk. She smiled. "Certainly. I'll keep you in mind then. I would love some help from you tech-savvy Mauvians with whatever I may be able to come up with." She wasn't sure what that was going to be at this time, but she would probably be asking for the Mauvian's help when she became a Captain.

Waiting until she was a captain was the best course of action. For all that it was a great thing to see a lieutenant so willing to put in the work and already planning for the future, some things simply had to come with experience rather than thoughtful planning. The more she learned on the job now, the better equipped she'd be to handle things later on. And for her to actually understand that concept...? Amazing! Scheelite was proud, though he had only met this lieutenant today he felt she had a wonderful future in the organization.
AND she got along with his cat! This earned a grin from the general."Epsilon, at your service. Always happy to have something to tinker with.""Or blow up.""That was one time Scheelite! And I LEARNED from that experience, which is the important thing right?."
The Mauvian shook his head as the general simply laughed. Either way he was swiftly turning his attention back to Eveite.
"I'm extremely interested in this hacking you can do as well. Perhaps we can work something out sometime. Feel free to message me anytime, or message his tablet." A paw waved back at Scheelite. "I'll get it either way."
He moved off back to his chair, sitting in it to continue listening to the meeting.SSBrosB Ahh so glad I could maybe spark something for the future!

Eveite smiled. It was quite interesting to see such characteristics from two who were a part of the Negaverse. For such an organization and what they did, it was surprising they would have such goofy characters in it. Which meant she had to be all the more careful in case it was a facade. "Well, hopefully nothing will blow up with what I'm doing. Figuratively or literally. But we don't know what will happen. Something may just blow up anyway." She said, an attempt at her own joke. "I will then, thank you Epsilon. The name suits you well." The cat soon returned to his "own" chair, though she could see that he was still watching them. She turned back to the General. "Is there anything you would suggest I do in the meantime before becoming a Captain? Goals in general I mean, you don't have to be specific if the general idea is just draining energy."

From his spot the cat simply seemed amused. Things blowing up -could- be fun, though you mostly didn't want that to happen. But hey, whatever was necessary in the pursuit of technology or...whatever. He couldn't deny that explosions were sometimes far more fascinating than whatever the real result was meant to be. One just needed to watch old episodes of Mythbusters to come to that conclusion."The main goal is draining energy, you've already got that part down. While it isn't a 'goal' exactly what I would recommend is you spend this time getting to know your fellow agents. There's strength to be found in camaraderie, which I'm sure you've already witnessed when everyone went to rescue Feldspar, yeah? You'll be spending a lot of time with the rest of the ranks, especially as you progress up them. Better to know the others, know their own strengths and weaknesses so you can better assist them in operations. That sort of teamwork is a great asset, and one we should be taking full advantage of at evey opportunity."
He folded his arms, not in a sign of discomfort but more to let his gloved hand easily fiddle with the teal fabric tied around his right arm.
"I've seen what happens when we let our guard down, what happens when the rescue mission doesn't go well." He gripped that fabric tight for a moment before managing to shake that emotion away. He unfolded his arms and smiled over at her. "Best to avoid that sort of situation happening again."

With the way that the General moved, she could tell that the subject of teammates may have hit some sort of memory for him, one he didn't exactly like. She wouldn't ask, it wasn't her place to, and she could always look it up in the database. If she hadn't read it already, then she would eventually. Perhaps it would have him named in it, but if it didn't, it wasn't her place to pry into everyone's business. You did that, you eventually would find things out you didn't want to know. She nodded. "That makes sense. I'll try and meet up with more of my fellow Agents then. It was interesting to go and rescue Feldspar, but I don't believe that type of occurrence is common, so I know I'll have to initiate a lot of the meetings as well." Perhaps they could form some sort of club or have some weekly dinner meetings or something. Well, monthly. Weekly might be too much, after all, she had her civilian job and even if it was creating soldiers for the Negaverse, she still had code to grade. Maybe in the summer.

She likely would have no problem finding information about it. The raid on the Blood Moon Court's warehouse had been a huge undertaking, resulting in the deaths of several officers and even a General King. Traumatic was the least of the words that could be used to describe it. That said, he would have approved of people going and reading up on it if they didn't already know what occurred. Scarring as it was for him, he felt it important for the others to know what could happen.
What he hoped would never happen again.
"I'm still getting back into things myself, but I'm sure you can get some meetings going. Until you can teleport yourself here you can always ask for a ride in and see who's hanging out around here. If you can't find a ride just send me a message and I'll handle it."
Club or weekly dinners? Ah, he'd love those ideas! It'd be wonderful if the Negaverse had more get togethers just for everyone to build a rapport with one another. Any activity towards building better connections would be something he'd heavily support.

She smiled. "I'll see if I can do anything then." Looking at her watch, it appeared that it was starting to get a bit late, which seemed a bit odd, the conversation didn't appear that it had been going on that long. She looked back up from it to look at the General again. "I'll make sure and send a message out. As large as the Negaverse is," And it was large with what she had read in the database, "I think it will be faster to send a message than to try and hang around to see who might be in the area. Though it will be a great relief when I can finally do it myself." As a Captain there appeared to be quite a few advantages. Even if she never made it to General then she would have to make it to Captain at the very least. She stood up, nodding to both Sheel and Epsilon. "I'm glad to have met both of you, though it appears that I have to be going soon. If there's anything else I should know, please tell me. Or if you can think of it later, you can always message me." She turned to Epsilon. "If I have any ideas that I can think of that I need help with, I'll be sure to message you." She said smiling. "Just wanted to say, keep up this level of enthusiasm and drive to go further in the Negaverse. It's wonderful to see, and that sort of attitude will help you get far. I think you're going to be a wonderful officer, Eveite."
Scheelite was smiling warmly, though a moment later he jumped to his feet to grab something.
"Ah yes, can't forget! All visitors get a complimentary glowstick. Going to be my policy from here on out, think it brings a bit of fun in yeah?" He laughed, handing over an uncracked green glowstick for her to take with her.
"Enjoy! If I think of anything I'll send a message, and same goes for you. If you need anything, just let me know.""I look forward to future talks, Eveite! The potential for some new projects is delightful."
The Mauvian's tail was rapidly waving back and forth, his mind whirring with all the ideas for the future. Tech buddies, ah! It could be so great.SSBrosB All good to wrap it up! Thank you for the RP!

She took the glow stick that was handed to her. "Thanks, I appreciate it. And you might think about seeing if you can make permanent glowsticks. As fun as these are, it would be nice if they glowed for much longer. Maybe you could make some energy powered ones, even if they are just for fun." She turned to Epsilon. "Glad you're looking forward to it. You'll be the first to know."She nodded to both of them. "Thank you once again for taking time out of your day to meet with me. And I look forward to talking to you in the future." She said and with that, she was out the door, immediately pulling out her tablet and writing more notes down so she didn't have to keep all of the information in her head. Demy-Stardust Yay!
