Since being gifted with magic he'd done very little, if anything, in that way. He'd been too busy with work and all that entailed, he really did hate his job. Today he'd been shouted at and called a liar by a customer, all because he needed ID for a narcotic that she was picking up. She'd yelled at him and carried on for several minuets, tying up his line, and no one came to back him up. At least his pharmacist came to stop her, telling her it was indeed needed and if she continued he'd call the cops, she'd left after shouting that hew was a lying a*****e. He still had to handle the long line on his own and that was never an easy thing, it was another reason he hated this job. He could call for back up multiple times, in front of customers, before he'd finally get help.

He hadn't even bothered past asking once today, he had given up on a lot of things to be honest. It really was like they didn't care or didn't even notice him most days, it was lonely, and he had let it eat at him all day. Why hadn't anyone stepped in to help with the line, why had no one asked if he was ok or let him take a break and go do production or drop off. Why keep him there tending the line like some puppet or doll? Something that wasn't supposed to feel and just carried on working.

When he'd left work he'd gotten himself some food and gone home to eat and do some studying, he actually had tomorrow off so he'd hit the gym tonight. He was working towards online classes to get a better job - a different job. He didn't want to keep this job, his experiences having turned him away from any thought of continuing down the medical path in any form. He was thinking of something he could do that had little human interaction included, he didn't want to work with people anymore either. He was tired of them - so tired.

When later came, and his food and studying were done, Larkin had headed out intending to go to the gym but instead on a whim decided to power up and go for a walk. He knew he could move across roof tops, he'd learned that early on, so that was what he did. He didn't know many others...just the curly haired female who had brought him into this all...but that was ok. He didn't need to know others - right? He was used to being alone. The only time he was around people was when he was home and with family. So it was ok here too....right?
