Something felt... off tonight. Chambersite couldn't brush off the feeling that tonight wouldn't go exactly as planned. Even if he was just stalking some people in the park, he could have sworn the air felt different. Still, he had a job to do, and that meant draining people. Until he became a General who would have a lot more freedom with what he could do, he was still stuck with the demands of those higher than his rank. So he was out here trying to find some targets, but it had become harder. The light was out longer, the weather couldn't decide if it wanted to be spring or freezing, and he had to stay out longer for the lighting to dim so he could finally make a move. When he found a target, a runner who had decided to take a quick break on a park bench nearby his tree-hiding spot, he decided to move closer to start draining energy. Easy enough, he didn't even have to touch her now. As soon as he had started, he felt the p***k of an aura, one that was much stronger than the Senshi that he had fought against a few days ago. He frowned. Had that been what he had been feeling? Perhaps the Senshi had just gotten close enough for him to recognize the aura. Better than a stupid fog monster again. He thought to himself as he stopped his draining. The runner got up, but he had drained her enough so that the had to walk back. Chambersite watched her walk away and waited for the inevitable battle that would be coming at him in the form of some self-righteous Senshi. tatterpixie Hope this is okay for a start!

Creeping through the park, using the trees to conceal him, Puck made his way toward the Chaos sensation he now detected easily. His senshi phone's tracking feature had led him here; once he was able to feel the aura himself, he tucked the phone away into subspace. He was ready for a good fight, after having to flee that fiery (literally) youmafied General he had encountered on that strange foggy night not too long ago. His hand and wrist still showed the effect of that battle, red and sensitive from second-degree burns. His ego still held the effects of that battle as well; no clear victory for either of them, and in Puck's mind that counted as a loss for himself. The Super Senshi moved from tree to tree as he approached the enemy; the feel of the aura told him this Chaos agent was close by. Peering around a tree, he finally spotted his target: a Captain by the look of him. Good, he wasn't going to be outclassed by an opponent of higher rank than he was. This was going to be a good fight. He waited until the partially drained runner was out of sight, then he called out softly in a childish sing-song, "Peek-a-boo, I see you.." With a grin, he remained hidden until he knew how this guy was going to react to his taunting.

Chambersite whipped his head around when he heard the words. He couldn't see anything though. The lack of moonlight and the way that the park lights were hitting the trees weren't helpful in... well whatever was there. It had to be a Senshi though, he could recognize that aura anywhere. Just not the specific one. Definitely someone he hadn't encountered before. Now, either this Senshi was hiding somewhere that he just wasn't seeing, or they were literally invisible. And, now that he thought about it, that would be a pretty amazing power to have. But that was something to think about later, not in the moment where he could be attacked by some do-gooder at any moment. He sighed. "You know, playing games is only going to make this take longer. But I suppose I can try it out if you wish?" It sounded like the Senshi was trying to bait him. All right, let's see what this Senshi was made of then. He took a few steps away from the path.

Puck grinned wickedly at the Captain's response. Oh, so this guy didn't want to play games, did he? Well, neither did the Super Senshi. He was tired of using his magical attack; all it did was trap his opponent like a caged bird. Didn't stop them from using their attacks, made it harder in fact for him to actually do damage to them. Puck was in the mood for a good old-fashioned punchup, going after each other with fists and kicks and headbutts and the like. Nice and dirty. He wanted to feel like he'd been in a fight. Peeking around his tree, he saw the other guy move off the path, and knew that he could see him poking his head out. He flashed an even wider grin at him, the dim light only revealing the grin, rather like a Cheshire Cat. "Hi," he said before stepping out from behind the tree. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Puck of the Woods." Sketching a bow, his blond leaf-littered dreadlocks flopped over his face. He shoved them back, but didn't lose the grin. "Ready to have a go, mate?"

Chambersite could see a grin coming from around a tree before the Senshi finally revealed themselves and Chambersite could only think that the Senshi might as well have lived in the woods. It was confirmed when the Senshi introduced himself. Well, at least the Senshi didn't appear to want to mess around with Chambersite's mind if he came out that easily, but that didn't meant his would be an easy victory. Chambersite grinned. He was willing to fight, and this would be much more entertaining than going against that other Senshi. "Chambersite". He said with a nod to the other. He rolled his right shoulder, making sure that it wouldn't decide to suddenly lock while they were fighting. "Whenever you are." He said and with that he teleported behind the Senshi and threw his right fist at the other.

Puck had completely forgotten that these Negaverse bastards could teleport. To his surprise, Chambersite suddenly disappeared from in front of him; before he could react, a vicious punch landed on his back, just above his right kidney. He lurched forward in shock and pain and wheeled around, looking for the Captain. "Fool me once, shame on me," he growled. He really didn't want to use his magic, but Chambersite clearly had no compunction not to use his. Puck wasn't going to get fooled again. Whirling around again, he whipped out his right leg in a flying kick, a move he remembered learning from Juno all those years ago when he had first awakened. The Super Senshi hoped he was fast enough to catch some part of Chambersite with his heel before the other guy could teleport away again.

Teleportation was a nice advantage that Agents had over Senshi and Knights. The only problem with it though was it require energy and much more as a Captain. He could only really use it once without feeling the side effects from it, so continually teleporting around wasn't an option. He only just saw the leg in time, though only enough to not get his head knocked. His shoulder wasn't as lucky, and while it didn't feel broken after the Senshi hit him, at least he wasn't wearing steel-toed shoes, it did leave an impact and pain, enough to where the Captain would have to let it rest for a few moments before it would be safe enough to use again without making the damage worse. He had to make a quick decision though. Teleporting was not an option and if he jumped back it would make this fight go on for longer than he wanted it to. While the Senshi was still getting out of their kick, Chambersite decided to summon his dagger the hand that did not have the bruised shoulder and attempted to hit the Senshi's own arms or ribcage or wherever, as long as it was a part of the Senshi's body as he swung it a bit downwards. He didn't expect a hit and he felt a bit cheap summoning his weapon already, but he needed to figure out how the Senshi would react, what their response time was, etc.

Puck had barely whipped his leg back after nailing Chambersite in the shoulder (damn, missed his head by thismuch) when a dagger materialized in the Captain's hand and he swung the weapon in a sharp downward motion. "Oi!" the Super Senshi yelped as the dagger cut cleanly through the fabric of his close-fitting pants, leaving a tiny trail of blood on Puck's thigh. All this served to accomplish, however, was make Puck angry. He really hadn't wanted to use his magical attack, but this guy was using his weapon. It was only fair. "Wild Copse!" Puck shouted, pointing accusingly at Chambersite. He'd fix this Captain but good. Wild Copse! Puck points at his target and calls out the attack name, and a dense patch of forest undergrowth typically reaching about waist-high springs up around the feet of his target. Along with the undergrowth entangling the target's feet, there are also young trees surrounding them with this attack, acting as a cage. The undergrowth, extending in about a 10-foot radius around the target, consists of a tangle of ivy, ferns, shrubs and small saplings atop slippery moss and leaf litter underfoot. The trees stand about 10-12 feet tall and are spaced so that it is nearly impossible to squeeze one's body between them. It is still possible for the enemy to reach their arms through the trees and use ranged attacks, however, so Puck basically casts it and runs. He has to be within 15 feet of his target to use this; if the target can get outside the radius before the undergrowth or trees appear, it can be dodged. It lasts around 30 seconds before dissipating. He can use this up to twice per battle.

Chambersite managed to hit the Senshi. It wasn't a rare occurance, but he certainly wasn't too good at using it. Most of the time he just used it as something to throw at others to distract them while he tried to hit them from a different angle. Still, when he did hit, it was useful, but the Senshi had decided that weapons weren't fair and had yelled out his attack before Chambersite realized it. He was pretty sure he blinked and he was already surrounded. There was undergrowth reaching his waist and trees surrounding him. He tried to move but not only was he caught, but his foot slipped and he almost twisted it. He let out a curse before trying to teleport. Nothing. Apparently it canceled that out as well. But... even if he couldn't escape, it didn't look like the Senshi could attack him either. Unless he had a rock or something else to throw at him. Well, there was only one thing to do in this situation with his trusty weapon. He threw it at the Senshi, or where he thought he was. It was a bit hard to see him in all of this wild growth of nature.

Puck was well pleased that his attack landed and captured the Negaverse Captain. "Well now," he said with a smug grin, sauntering closer in an insouciant manner. "And here I thought this was going to be a fair fight. Just you and me, one on one, no magic or any of that shite. Look what you made me d-" Before the Super Senshi could finish his boast, Chambersite threw the dagger between the tree limbs -- right at Puck. Eyes widening, he dodged reflexively -- But not fast enough, as the Captain's dagger sliced neatly through one of Puck's blond dreadlocks, cutting it cleanly. Puck heard it whiz past, heard the slice. He reached up and felt the severed dreadlock, not caring that it had come very close to actually killing him. Furious now, he glared through the trees of his copse at Chambersite. "You b*****d," he growled softly. Storming up to the copse, he pushed one arm through the underbrush up to his shoulder, hand in a fist, and began to swing for the Captain, intent on beating the snot out of him. "Hold still, you little shite, so I can hit you!"

How much longer was this magic going to last? Chambersite wasn't even sure how long it had been since the Senshi had used it. But surely it had been more than say, 10 seconds or something? It was hard to tell time when one was in the middle of a battle. But what he didn't expect was he almost got the Senshi, especially since the Senshi's boast was cut off halfway. Whatever the damage was, the Senshi was now pissed as he made his way into the area which appeared to make it harder to fight for the Senshi as well. Guess it wasn't easy trying to throw punches when you were fighting foliage as well! And unfortunately Chambersite hadn't been ready for it and could barely move, so the most he could do was put up an arm to stop it from hitting his face directly. What did happen was that his arm hit his face instead. He only lucked out in not getting a black eye, but he was certain to have a sore jaw come morning. "Not my fault you didn't say what you expected. As advantageous as it would be, we agents aren't mind readers." He said, re-summoning his dagger. Oh how he loved that he could keep doing that! Still not as fun as the toy turnip though. He made sure to hold it in a way that the Senshi could see it, but not in a way that would allow Puck to take it either. Though with how the Senshi was raging at the time, he only just missed another swing, he wasn't sure if the Senshi would even notice it.

Puck kept thrashing his fist wildly within the confines of the copse, oblivious with rage -- until a glint of light reflecting off of shiny sharp metal caught the corner of his eye. "s**t," he swore; these guys could summon their weapons more than once! Unfair advantage! He swung at Chambersite one more time as the magic copse suddenly vanished. Well, now the enemy knew the limits of the attack… That didn't slow Puck down, however. Grappling with his other hand, he aimed to grab the wrist that was holding the dagger so he wouldn't get sliced to pieces with it. And he continued to punch away with his other hand. If he had his way, the Captain would be little more than a smear of grease on the path by now. "I figured you understood what I meant! When I say a fight, I mean a clean fight! Though what do you Negaverse people know about clean fighting?!" Puck snarled. The hand that was throwing punches now made to grab Chambersite's arm as Puck realized he was close enough to the other to use his favorite clean-fight weapon… ...A head-butt.

tatterpixie insert "Our battle will be legendary!" meme here The wild growth was gone, but Chambersite had a different problem now. The Senshi was holding onto the wrist with the hand that was holding the dagger. He twisted his arm in a way that should have made it painful for the Senshi to hold onto... And in the course of it completely missed the head-butt aimed his way, getting hit directly by it, losing his hat, and reeling as he was hit. This was just after he had managed to get out "Why would I have a clean fight with a Senshi?!"But the head-butt had hit hard, and all Chambersite could do was feel pain in his head. He dropped his weapon, unable to tell if his wrist had been let go, and through the pain re-summoned it and swung at the Senshi. "You a**hole!" He yelled. Though he was sure that the Senshi was in some pain from the same headbutt, he would have taken getting stabbed in the chest over that! "With that move there's no reason it ever should have been clean!" He wasn't sure if he should be the one giving up, but he really didn't want to give the Senshi the satisfaction that he had chased the Agent away!

The Captain twisted his arm around, trying to cause Puck enough pain to let go. Grimacing, his forehead connected with Chambersite's hard enough that the other guy's hat went flying. It was also a solid enough head-butt that his own bell was thoroughly rung by the impact. He let go of Chambersite's wrist and arm and stepped back as the Captain re-summoned his dagger and started swinging the blade at the Senshi angrily. "Oi, it's a clean move!" he shouted back, dancing around the tip of the sharp dagger. "I use it all the bloody time, and no-one ever complains!" Usually because they were knocked out cold. As it was, he could see the impression his circlet left on the guy's forehead and smirked a little bit. Right on target. That little smirk made him drop his concentration, and the dagger sliced into his tunic, leaving a nice slash in the fabric across his chest. Puck was a bit startled by that, even though it hadn't drawn blood -- it was still too close for comfort. He could tell he was starting to tire, too, as his hopping and dodging was losing energy. Swinging a leg out with the intent of hitting the guy in the ribs and knocking the breath out of him, Puck resteadied himself and spread his hands as he walked backward. "Look, mate, we're both getting nowhere here. How about we call it a draw? No loss of face, victory for both of us, nobody getting badly hurt. We're each other's equal, yeah? So what do you say?"

The pain was starting to become a little less distracting, but he would still have a large bruise in the morning even with his better healing powers. He would have grumbled something back about Puck's opponents not being able to complain because they were too focused on their head wound, but he didn't have the energy to do so. Still, it appeared that the Senshi was losing steam. Chambersite was able to stagger back a bit just to miss another leg swing, though he still got hit in the arm. Another bruise. Rubbing the spot on his head, knowing that would help exactly nothing, Chambersite looked at the Senshi who appeared to be giving up and squinted. "I'd say that, but how do I know that if I try to leave, you aren't just going to sneak in another attack?" Even if the other was tired, he probably had one more well-placed attack in him. Chambersite could have teleported away, but didn't have the energy to, or at least without collapsing once he got to the Negaverse. Besides, he still didn't want to make it look like he was actually running from the fight. They were just declaring it a tie, right?
