Since meeting Jaysen's brother at the cafe Alexandre had run into him several more times. They weren't all unplanned though, most in fact weren't unplanned. In a city this big having such unplanned run in's, and several of them, was a bit rare unless people traveled the same circles - and they didn't. But they had spent time together and tonight was another of those planned meetings.
Tonight however was different in that they were going to be powered up and energy gathering. He didn't need to gather energy, he was good with his quota, but it never hurt to grab a bit more when he could. It was also a good reason, or an excuse, to spend time with someone else. He was a bit lonely, not that he intended to admit to that any time soon, and having only his cat and cousin around wasn't helping any. As much as he was used to being single and mostly alone it still wasn't always easy and he didn't always want to be so alone. Tonight was a night he wanted company and so he'd called the other earlier in order to arrange for this.
Standing on the roof top he was waiting for the other to arrive. Powered up and looking every bit the imposing general that he was, petite stature aside, Benitoite was ready to get started...if only the other was here.

Corvusite sighed as he landed on the roof. "...I'm beginning to suspect our little run ins are not so accidental..." He muttered. The blonde was beginning to wonder if his sister was involved in this somehow... Corvusite honestly wouldn't be surprised. "So... What are we doing? You mentioned energy gathering...?" Corvusite knew the basis... Did Benitoite think he knew nothing? No that couldn't be it.

Shaking his head he couldn't help but laugh. "Half of them aren't accidental." The ashen blond pointed out with a upward tilting of his head, nose up in the air a bit.
"I was looking to gather energy, I don't need it for quota, but I decided to invite you as company." Because he was almost always alone when he went out to gather energy and it did get boring, and lonely even. He used to have others he'd go out with...he'd even had a small team once. But those nights were long over and he wanted some company tonight.
"You don't mind that I asked you to join me?"

Corvusite simply snorted. Accidental or not, he was still suspect of his sister.
Ah. So that was it. Beni was simply alone. "Thank... you?" He offered, confused. "You'll have to excuse me but... With all due respect, if you don't need it for your quota, why collect more? Is it a matter of having just because?" Or did Beni use it to cover for others who weren't pulling their weight.
Corvusite shrugged. "I don't have much of a choice do I? You out rank me in both experience and time. We're suppose to come when you guys call, aren't we?" Though, given their last few meetups, he supposed the interactions with the General weren't all that horrible. "Why me though? And not my sister? You two are on more familiar terms than we are currently." Not that he was entirely complaining. "Nevermind. Where are we going."

"I like to be ahead of things. I also know some don't fulfill their needs...or collect any energy." Officers who had vanished...who put civilian life ahead of this. Plenty of those officers could be found if you looked at the lists of officers the Negaverse had. There were enough names on there which had not been seen or heard from in a long time, all who hadn't powered up and done their part. It put them behind and so he did his best to collect extra to try and fill in the gaps.
"Also, when it's just us you don't need to have such manners - at least not for my rank." That all due respect thing...it made him feel a bit old and like he'd been at this a long time, which he had but he didn't like the reminder.
Rolling his eyes he shook his head. "You're supposed to but I don't make demands of those around me. I asked - you can decline. I give a choice to those around me unless in a battle where decisions can't be waited for." It was the one time he'd shout orders and direct people if need be. He didn't like taking away peoples choices and the right to make them. This was why he fought in this war - so people could live free and not have someone lording over them. He wasn't about to let senshi or a moon queen or any other such person taking over and directing them all.
"Because I wanted to ask you and not her - simple as that really." Shrugging his shoulders he smiled up at the other blond. "We look for places people are leaving and we follow them. So let's find some bars or restaurant." Always people around those places and easy enough to follow them, especially the drunks.

Corvusite tilted his head, watching the General for a moment. "...We're only as strong as our weakest link. I know, but. It's not your job to cover for someone else... So, why? Shouldn't this be a lesson learned?" It wasn't that hard of a task. It was, as far as he was concerned. Less of a burden then having to rip someone's starseed.
He just stared for a moment longer, before shrugging. "If you say so." Beni wanted natural? He was going to get natural.
"Ah... Am I the new favorite? I'll have to tell her. She'll be crushed." Corvusite lamented, tone light. He walked towards the edge of the roof and looked down with a grimace. "We're going to stick out." Well, some more then others.

"Oh, I'm not covering for people specifically. They can continue to slack off - they'll wind up being questioned eventually. I'm just filling in for what energy we aren't gaining from them. With others not doing their part we aren't gaining as much as we should. I turn it in as my own, of course, I'm just filling in for what we need...as much as I can anyway." He wasn't about to cover for others, not doing their duty was their business after all. He was just making up for the energy they didn't have that they should have - if people only did as they should.
"I doubt she'll be crushed but yes - I suppose we can say that if it makes you feel good and you want to think that." He stated with a bit of a mischievous smile. It was nippy out and it while it was late you could feel the moisture in the air. It was likely to rain - lovely. Well, best they get going now and gather some energy before it decided to pour on them both.
"We will if we go down there. We take the roof tops till we find a place where people are leaving...and we trail them from up here. Once we can get them alone we jump down and grab them." It was likely terrifying for the civilians but it was a necessary as far as he was concerned.

How bad was the Negaverse off if their Generals were having to make up work that others couldn't be half assed to do. "I just hope by doing that... we're not encouraging more of a reason to slack off for others." He didn't have time to be cleaning up other people's messes.
"You're probably right. She probably won't be crushed." If anything, she'd probably be ecstatic over not having to deal with either of them much. "Your name is one I've heard from her before on occasions." There were others, but she hadn't spoken of them in ages. He hadn't pressed her for further details. It wasn't his business.
Corvusite stared down at the street before them, looking for any stragglers as he listened to the General. "Hmm.. Alright then." He said, turning towards the smaller blonde. "You've got the rank advantage here so..." Corvusite gestured towards the city. "Show me what you've got." He'd let the smaller man take charge...

"I would hope, and assume, it wouldn't encourage such behavior. I'm sure most don't know I gather more or for why I do so." Shrugging his shoulders just a bit, the slightest of movements, as he spoke. It was his own business and not something he normally even spoke of, it was a little thing and not worth speaking about normally. It wasn't something you'd just come out and say to someone at random.
"If others decide to slack of it's their business and they'll have to handle it eventually." In whatever form that came. Whether it be punishment, talking to, or just fading into obscurity and being forgotten by the Negaverse. Maybe if, or when, the war ended they'd have to answer for their negligence.
"I would hope whatever she's said about me was good, or at least not negavtive...nothing to turn someone away from me anyway." He was curious, he'd admit to that, but he wasn't going to ask what had been said about him either. He'd stamp down on his curiosity and keep it silent, it wasn't that hard to do.
Rolling his eyes as he walked past the other, towards the roofs edge, and jumped to the next roof top over. "You know you don't need to bring up rank. I rarely throw my weight around." He called over his shoulder, a mischievous smile forming. The landing was, thankfully, prefect as he landed with ease on the next roof top. Turning to face the other then, slowly, he gestured the other to follow. "Come little crow - follow me. We'll get this done with ease tonight." He was good with moving across the cities skyline.

"To each their own... I suppose.." Corvusite muttered. "I feel like you should be taking credit for your own work... But as long as I'm not getting chewed out for someone else's bullshit, I don't care in the end." Not his fault, not his problem. The blonde shrugged. "Honestly, I rarely paid any attention when she talked about such things." His sister was a part of his life he had thought he'd left behind. The fact she had come crawling, quite literally, back into his life... had been unexpected. "She did mention something about an 'unhealthy relationship with plants." but then added that it probably wasn't at all to surprising since you were 'friends' with her. Or so she says..." Corvusite's lip twitched upwards into a smirk. "I don't have to pull rank, you're right. But your reactions make it so much more entertaining." Though the smirk disappeared almost as quickly as it came. " Little?" The senshi scoffed, taking a step back before taking a running jump. "Unlike my sister... You'll find that there is little that is little about me..." He said as he stood to his full height. "You on the other hand... Little Prince, better watch out." "I know what I've done and continue to do. Those who need to know - do." It wasn't like the higher ranked officers, the general kings and queens, were the sort to not know just what was really going on. He didn't need praise, or to seek it, he was confident in where he stood in the organization.
"I suppose she would call it unhealthy...that sounds like her. Though I'd say it's only because she doesn't know her way around a green house like I do." Taking him to a place filled with plants was a dangerous thing. He could talk for a good amount of time on what plants meant, what ones could kill you and how, as well as what ones had medicinal properties and what they were. It might be a bit unhealthy but he considered it having a talent that others didn't...something which may come in handy one day - it made him stand out.
Raising a brow, his cheeks turning a pink hue, he took a moment to look the other over before raising a brow. "I'm not sure if you want to be saying such things. They could get a person thinking of things you might not appreciate someone thinking about when it comes to your person." Turning around, possibly in order to hide the flush to his cheeks, the general headed off. He figured the other would follow so he didn't call back to him. Already making for the next roof top. He wanted to get some energy draining done tonight and he knew plenty of open bars and clubs where they could find easy to pick off people.

"She said you'd probably say that... Her counter argument to that was, if I just grabbed various handfuls and shoved them all down someone's throat, the reaction would still be the same." Corvusite paused, throwing a curious look at the General. "Sometimes she calls you 'Poison Ivy.'. Like... the comic book villain."
The pink hue did not go unnoticed. "Oh??" He asked, in mock curiousness. "Whatever do you mean?" The blonde tilted his head curiously. "Are you thinking things you shouldn't be General? How unprofessional. Scandalous even." The grin returned spreading across his face. "Whatever will I do. Here I am, a young-" Ish. "Impressionable corrupt. And the General is thinking things about me." Corvusite followed close behind Beni, perhaps just a bit too close for the shorter blondes comfort at this point. "...So... Watcha thinking about?"

Clearly not something he knew but found interesting. "I'll have to look into that. I've never looked into comic books." Of course he hadn't. It certainly didn't seem like his thing.
Nearly choking on air he found himself turning towards the other rather quickly. "Young? You aren't that young. I'm also not thinking any such thing about you." And he did nearly knock right into the other when he turned out, words already falling from his lips. "I wouldn't go thinking such things about others." As if he were some virgin, there was no way he had a boyfriend living with him and was pure.
"You were the one insinuating certain things which are no business of mine. I do wonder why you'd want to tell me such things about yourself."

Corvusite's grin didn't disappear, he just watched the other. "Mid-twenties... Isn't that old, Sir." He raised a brow curiously, reaching out to catch the other as they nearly collided. "Maybe not.. True. You may not go thinking such things but." Corvusite shrugged slightly, letting go and walking past the General. "Maybe I like hearing those things? Though judging by the blush on you, maybe you do too? But, I'll stop. We have a job to do."

"While that may be true there is a difference in physical age and mental age. We serve in a war and that does age a person. We also have had people join in their teens - so compared to them you aren't that young." He didn't need to remind the other he'd joined when he was 16. What 16 year old joined a war and started killing people? That wasn't normal and yet he'd done it. He certainly felt every bit of his age most days.
Having reached out to grasp at the other, at the same time Corsuvite reached out to steady him, the blond was quick in pulling away when he was allowed to. "I do not, but when you bring such things up a persons mind does go places." Places it really shouldn't he was sure.
"And yes - work." Nodding his head as he turned to continue on their way. When he got close enough to music playing from a bar below he stopped. Peeking over the roof top in order to see what sort of people were hanging about the doors to the bar and who was close to the alleyway, running along the side of the bar between the two buildings. Not too many people but enough to grab for some energy - good. He didn't want too many people...he didn't want to cause a comotion when he grabbed people.
