If your avatar was a contestant on Nickelodeon's Finders Keepers: Toffler & Eure Eras, which team would the avatar play on, Red or Blue?
For those unfamiliar with Finders Keepers, its a game show that ran from 1987-1989 which was its original airing on television in which two teams compete to win cash and prizes by solving Hidden Object Picture Puzzles & Hidden Object Puzzles in Real Life.
"If you can find the Object hidden in this picture, then you can win a romp through our Prize Packed House where what you find is what you keep on Finders Keepers!"
The structure of the game is simple: The Game is played with 2 Rounds each being a Hidden Object Picture Puzzle and Hidden Object Real Life Puzzle. During the Hidden Object Puzzle, the first team to ring in and find the object hidden in the Picture Puzzle that matches the clue given wins $25 and the right to search a room. If not, the other team could provide a correct answer and steal both the money along with the right to search a room.
If that team finds the object hidden in the Room, that team wins $50. Sometimes a Room inside the house set would contain a Instant Prize Puzzle where if the team finds the object hidden in the Room, that team not only wins the money but also a great prize. If not, then the money goes to the other team if its a Regular Room or both the money and prize goes to the other team if its an Instant Prize Puzzle Room.
In Round 2, all the money is doubled and the team with the highest score after 2 rounds, wins the game and goes on a wild Room to Room Romp so that team can win 6 Great Prizes. Hidden Object Pictures are worth $75 while Hidden Object Rooms are worth $100.
However, if the game ends in a Tie, a Tiebreaker Round would be played to determine the winning team as the first team to find 2-3 hidden objects in the Hidden Object Picture wins the game.
Like Double Dare, both Teams keep the money they won.
The Champion Team who wins proceeds to the Room to Room Romp. During this Bonus Round, the team will need search 6 rooms to find each Hidden Object that is hidden in that room. For finding that item hidden in that room, a Prize is awarded. When all 6 Items are found in the Bonus Round, that team wins the Grand Prize. Before the Bonus Round Begins, the Audience would select 6 Rooms to be used for the Room to Room Romp. As a Room is chosen by the Audience, that room lights up. After the Host reads the First Clue to the Champion team, the Room to Room Romp starts.
After the Room to Room Romp ends, win or lose, the Champion Team's total is added up to see how much that champion team won.
One thing to note in the Toffler version, there's overlay highlights for each team during the Hidden Object Picture Round that each team can use. These Overlays are related to the items in that picture that is shown & the players would then place the overlays on the correct item in the picture, while in the Eure version, the players would use a stylus pen on their podium's computer console to circle in the correct item in the picture.
As the Television show states: "There's more objects hidden in the picture than in the game."

If your avi was on Finders Keepers, what team would your avi be on? Red or Blue?
As for the Hidden Object Puzzle Clues that's in that Television show, I'll give you an example:
"Professor Ratigan uses this sound & call for his pet cat when someone upsets him."

Okay, did you also find the object in the picture that matches the clue I mentioned? If not then I'll repeat it one more time: "Professor Ratigan uses this sound & call for his pet cat when someone upsets him."

These are the Sets used in the Larry Toffler Era of Finders Keepers:
And the sets used in the Wesley Eure Era of Finders Keepers:
One thing to note in the Larry Toffler Version of Finders Keepers from 1988 to 1989 is that in the Hidden Object Picture Round, each team has a set of overlays to use.
One example of overlays used would be used in a picture as each team has 8 overlays to use as shown in the Television show. Here's some Overlay examples for the Red or Blue Teams that would be used: = Dartboard Dart = Paddle = Combination Lock = Rubber Duck = Alarm Clock = Tea Cup = Egg = Umbrella Also in the television show, the host mentions that there's more Hidden Objects found in the actual game than in the Hidden Hidden Picture or the other way around.
Each Hidden Object Picture has a title in the Television Show as well. I would call this Hidden Object Picture, "Another Fine Hard Drive Mess".
This one I would call this Hidden Object Picture, "A Designer's Day Off"
The one I would call, "A Fairy's human collection"

Finders Keepers has the smallest Victory Count that I could find which has all 6 Items being found and all 6 Prizes being won.
The Eure Era had 6 Room to Room Romp Victories while the Toffler Era had only one Room to Room Victory.
Also in the Television show's original airing from 1987 to 1989, the Best Possible Score was an earnings total of $1,000 which was a Standard 4 Hidden Object Game.
If Finders Keepers was brought back today, then there would be a Long 6 Hidden Object game which has a Best Possible Score of $1,500 & an Extended 8 Hidden Object game which has a Best Possible Score of $2,000.
Another thing to note is that Finders Keepers was the Sister Show of Double Dare.
The show also did have its share of a fanbase. One example was a Double Dare Episode from 1988: Wit Pains vs. Ghastly Goobers, where an audience member said that her favorite show is Finders Keepers.
