-- Clone Technique [E Rank]
This is a basic technique that every shinobi can use. In fact, Konohagakure's Ninja Academy prevents students from graduating unless they master this technique, for which reason Naruto Uzumaki failed three years in a row. For this technique, users create one or more afterimages of themselves to move alongside them. Unlike most other clone techniques, these afterimages have no substance and thus are incapable of damaging opponents. Because of this, it is only useful for confusing enemies while other attacks are prepared. Opponents can identify clones from their original through careful observation, as clones won't cast shadows, crush grass, kick up dust, etc. (This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).

This technique is most often used to disguise the user as another person, but they can also turn into an animal, plant, or inanimate object. Users will gain the attributes and physical features of whatever they transform into, such as a weapon's sharpness or an animal's fangs(This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).

The instant before they are to be struck by an attack, the user replaces themselves with a block of wood or something similar. To do this, the user has to be emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of the their feet and using the repellent force to walk across the water's surface. Using chakra-infused ink, the user can quickly and expertly draw objects onto their scroll. The moment the brush is removed from the scroll, the images leap from the paper, grow to life-size, and act according to the user's will. Because they are made of ink, a single blow is usually enough to dispel them. For discreet communiques while undercover, Sai is able to turn the words he writes into small animals, allowing them to travel unnoticed to the intended target, after which the ink animal requires a scroll to revert back into written information. In addition to the animals it is normally used to create, Sai can produce explosive tags. In the anime, for the drawings to retain stability upon emerging, the user's emotional state must have a true passion for them. Otherwise, the drawings will immediately splatter.

By converting her chakra into paper, Konan transforms her body (and clothing) into numerous sheets of paper; the initial creation and dispersal of the paper can mesmerize opponents. Konan then controls and shapes the paper into various things, such as spears for attack, origami butterflies for spying, and clones for supplementary purposes. She can create paper wings on her back to fly (though she can hover without them) and use them to shoot paper in rapid succession. She can also wrap her target in paper, restricting their movements and asphyxiating them.
Konan's paper can be affected in similar ways as normal paper: fire will burn it though it can still be used as an effective defense against flame attacks at the cost of being burned away, and oil will cause it to stick together, preventing her from manipulating it. Pain is at one point shown ending the rains of Amegakure so that she can use her paper more freely, but she is later seen using her paper despite the rain.

A technique that consists of using chakra to harden and shape paper into shuriken. The user can increase the power of the shuriken as when Konan combined it with Nagato's Wind Release: Gale Palm, speeding up the shuriken and enabling them to pierce the body further.
Konan can fold the paper shuriken into different shapes, including the normal four-pointed star shape and a more kunai-like shape. In the manga, the latter shape does not spin like a shuriken. In the anime, the shuriken spin regardless of shape.

A basic Lightning Release technique that allows the user to create a wave of electricity from their hands. The user can vary its power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is also an idea to use in conjunction with a water technique.
-- Raiton: Yaiba no Jutsu [Lightning Release: Blade Technique] [C]
This skill allows the user to charge chakra in the form of electricity in the palm. Then, the chakra eventually works up to the fingers, where a blade of electricity is formed between the index and middle finger. The blade is very thin, and depending on the user's chakra, anywhere from 8 inches to a foot long. It is around 2 to 3 inches wide, and it lacks a hilt. The blade is held between the fingers, but as soon as it is let go, the blade vanishes into thin air. The strength of this blade isn't as strong as a normal blade, as it is nowhere as dense or as heavy. But because the blade is very thin, it is capable of doing some major damage, if used properly. However, this blade can also hurt the user, anywhere except for the fingers where the blade is held.

The user emits lightning in the shape of a spear from its mouth, which then pierces the enemy. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This technique is capable of being focused into a straight beam, similar to a laser. Kakuzu is able to use this through his lightning-element mask.
-- Zenshinfuzui [Total Paralysis] [ B]
Total paralysis is where you focus enough electrical current into the central nervous system of the target's body that it makes a complete nerve shutdown, making the target limp as a rag doll. However since this requires an exact jolt and exact location it means the user has a much smaller target to aim for, and must be very close. So, in other words, using this on a person requires that the user make a connection with their hand and the top or backside of the target’s head.
-- Chidori [One Thousand Birds] [A]
The Chidori was created by Kakashi Hatake after he failed to apply his lightning-nature to the Rasengan. He intended for the Chidori to be a weapon used only to protect friends and loved ones. To perform, the user first gathers lightning to their hand; the high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. The lightning chakra has been shown on occasions to damage the user's hand, peeling the skin and causing it to smoulder slightly, but this does not appear to actually be debilitating. Once the chakra is gathered, users charge at their target and thrust the Chidori into them, piercing them and typically causing fatal damage. Despite the sound it makes, the rapid speed at which it's used makes it useful for assassinations. The speed at which the Chidori is performed, despite being one of its greatest assets, also represents one of its biggest drawbacks: users move at their target so fast that its causes a tunnel vision-like effect for them. Because they charge in a straight line it is easy for opponents to attack them, and because of the tunnel vision it is difficult for the user to see these attacks, much less react to them. For this reason, most ninja cannot use the Chidori safely. If the user has a Sharingan, however, these drawbacks are overcome: the Sharingan's heightened visual perception prevents the tunnel vision from occurring and its predictive capabilities make it easy for the user to avoid counterattacks. Kakashi's reaction time with the Chidori eventually became so good that he was able to split a bolt of lightning with it, earning his Chidori the name "Lightning Cutter".
-- Chidori Senbon [One Thousand Birds Senbon] [A]
This is one of many variations of the Chidori that uses shape transformation. In comparison to the standard Chidori, it further specialises in speed, by being transformed into countless sharp senbon, which are all aimed and fired at the enemy. By increasing the amount of chakra used, the number of senbon also increases proportionally. When used in tandem with the Sharingan, it becomes far more effective and deadly, as it allows the user to precisely shoot for the target's vital points. After attaining chakra from the nine tailed beasts, Sasuke's new Susanoo was able to produce large senbon capable of countering Naruto's senjutsu-enhanced tailed beast balls.
-- Raikiri [Lightning Cutter]
According to Might Guy, it gained its name after Kakashi split a bolt of lightning with it. Because the Chidori is already powerful on its own, the Lightning Cutter requires better chakra control, which is exemplified in its appearance. The Chidori appears as simply a mass of white electrical chakra in the user's hand, while the Lightning Cutter is more focused (and blue in the anime). In Part I, Kakashi is limited to using it four times in one day, but by Part II, he can use it at least six times in one day.

-- Suiton: Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu [Water Release: Water Shuriken Technique] [D]
Through the use of water manipulation, the user can create multiple small shuriken comprised of water and launch them towards the target. After hitting and/or cutting a solid surface, they revert to water. It is important to note that these shuriken can be physically launched (by hand) or launched as they are created.
-- Suimenka no Kisoku [Breathing Underwater Technique] [D]
The art of breathing underwater using chakra to remove oxygen from water has been a long handed down secret of the Mist. The length of time and the depth that the diver can go under depends on the ability of the user. This technique typically activates whenever the shinobi breathes in water and requires no handseals.
-- Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu [Water Clone Technique] [C]
The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones that are made out of water. Also, unlike shadow clones, water clones hold only one-tenth of the original person's power. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert to normal water.
-- Suirō no Jutsu [Water Prison Technique] [C]
This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move or breathe while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. It can also be stored in scrolls as traps. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water. Neji Hyūga was able to use his ability to release chakra from all of his tenketsu simultaneously to disrupt the flow of chakra and break the prison.
-- Suiton: Suiben [Water Release: Water Whip] [C]
The user creates a whip made of water that can wrap around the opponent. The user can also channel lightning chakra to shock anyone wrapped in it. This technique seems to be known by the Kirigakure hunter-nin. It's also strong enough to completely counter Yamato's Wood Release.
-- Suiton: Teppōdama [Water Release: Gunshot] [C]
The user kneads chakra, and converts it into water, and then spits it out in the form of condensed balls. The high-speed water ball attack possesses just as much power to kill as an actual gunshot. While this is a Water Release technique, it can still be employed someplace where no water is available, which is a great advantage. It is also possible to increase the power of destruction of the spheres themselves by building up the chakra inside of them. The number of bullets is determined while kneading chakra. By taking advantage of gravity, the bullets can brutally increase in power. With a user the size of Gamabunta, the bullets can actually be more like cannonballs, making them much deadlier.
A much more powerful version of the Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks, the user creates one thousand sharks out of water that enter into a wall formation and rain down to attack the opponent.
Parusuha releases a beam of electrified water (roughly the width of one's hand) from the shinobi which casts it and into a straight line, though the flight may be modified as if by the 'Liquify' Jutsu. The beam itself only takes the chakra of B-Rank Jutsu, but deals highly potent damage and stun. Also, due to the simplicity of the jutsu, it only required one maintain the Dragon Hand-Seal. Scatter: Once mastered, Parusuha becomes a jutsu which scatters into a number of smaller pulse beam (1/4 the width), all of which acting as if by the 'Liquify' Jutsu. Each scattered beam does the same level of destruction and damage as the B-Rank, however costs equal an average A-Rank Jutsu to use.
-- Ranton: Reizaa Saakasu (Laser Circus) [A]
This technique creates several beams and shoots them at the enemy. First, a halo of bright energy spreads around the user's hands as this technique is activated, then it encircles the user's hand and from that, the beams are shot out towards the enemy. The user is able to alter the beam's direction after being shot, making it possible to strike multiple enemies with pinpoint accuracy, even bypassing hostages held in close proximity. The user can also increase the number of beams to a great amount to pin down an enemy.
As the user makes the initial hand signs, they shall then clasp their hands together as they mix their two elements, Water and Lightning into their Kekkei Genkai, Storm Release. They shall then concentrate that storm release chakra into the form of a chain, which can be used to wrap around the opponent as they exchange blows, trapping them with Ranton, as the chains not only entangle, they leave burn marks on the surface of the skin as they electrocute your body when contact is made. The chains can help leave a person open as they entangle and burn the surface of the skin.
*Drawbacks: The chains only go around the waist, so hand signs can still be made. Also, the chain could be disrupted by a B rank jutsu since Ranton is weak to Wind. Also, the user must remain within close distance between him and the target to upkeep the jutsu, allowing for the target to use a long range attack as they are tied up... Also, upkeep cost is C rank per turn.
-- Ranton no Yoroi (Storm Release Armor)
Despite the name, this jutsu is highly offensive, surrounding the Shinobi within layers of electrified water with the fluidity of water and the sharpness of electricity. This jutsu enhances the speed and fluidity of motion of the shinobi as a secondary effect (50%), while the electrified water is absolutely hazardous to any Shinobi which comes into hand contact with the bearer of this jutsu, electrifying them with similar effect to as if they just dropped a toaster into a pool of water, quite deadly if contact is maintained, and is hard to break by oneself, but not impossible (Though easy for another). Unfortunately, this jutsu eats up a large amount of chakra and may only be utilized for two turns (eight if the shinobi has Bijuu Chakra.)
The user takes aim with both hands, builds up chakra, and then releases a twisting torrent of black clouds at the target at an impressive speed. While twisting, the black clouds will separate and converge multiple times, as if dragons clashing during a fight. This odd display can be rather confusing for first time opponents... or, victims, rather. When the attack finally makes impact, the clouds will cluster, swirl, and electrocute a rather well sized area. Then, just as the technique seems to be coming to an end, the user will perform one last handsign, and the clouds will coil and spin into a miniature storm tornado. Although it only gives a few rotations, the second half of this technique is just as, if not more so lethal as the first.

Stage 1: One Tail: The host covers them self in a purple shroud of chakra, releasing one tail with their cloak looking like that of a bipedal ox with two horns, giving them a small speed boost and a [+1] strength boost.
Stage 1: Two Tails: The host gains a second tail, and their canines grow out longer, as well as their nails; and their eyes will widen.
Stage 2: Three Tails: The host now receives a third tail, as well as a [+2] strength boost and another small speed boost. The cloak is now bubbling brighter and faster.
Stage 2: Four Tails: The host gains an extra tail, yet still far away form releasing the Hachibi. Their tails can now be used as suction cups, and are just as strong as the host him/herself.
Stage 3: Five Tails: The host is now physically and mentally connected to Hachibi. The user will wrap their tails around themselves; creating an explosion of massive chakra, the earth shattering underneath it has what stands before their enemy is a massive bipedal ox-like creature with two horns and five tails and hooved feet. The chakra fusing with the hosts skin and muscles; making them a living mass of it. The host now has pure white eyes and white mouth, the host's strength increasing by half. The tails themselves can stretch out far and grasp objects, crushing them with ease. Not only that, but the user also gains speed rivaling that of a One-Tailed Cloaked Nibi host. In this form, not even the Sharingan can effect the host.
Stage 3: Six Tails: The host is now granted the sixth tail a sixth tail. The user still being powerful physically and fast, but not quite one of the fastest. Though, this is the form when the fun begins, seeing as now the host can increase the size of any limb of their body, even their horns and tails for massive damage. Also retaining it's Sharingan immunity!
Stage 3: Seven Tails: The host now increases in size, towering over a human, but a bit bigger then Gamakichi after the time-skip. The host is still powerful and big built, retains their impressive speed boost and enlarging abilities, and their Sharingan cancellation! But, bone will begin to form on the shoulder of the host, a skull manifesting on the shoulder of the host. Theme Song: "Simplicity was never the name of the game..." Of course life was supposed to be of the simple. Being a simple merchant, living with a wonderful family, that was life. Awai worked hard for her family-- however only barely making ends meet for them. It became even more difficult when her mother became ill and an extra expense was made for her medicine in hopes that she would become better within time. However, within weeks, she passed. Leaving Awai and her father behind with the stand and to make ends meet once more. From this point forward, it only seemed to get worse.
Within a year of her mother's passing, Awai's father had been drafted into a war that the nearby nations were fighting. He came to her one night as she laid across the straw mat, kissed her forehead and left a letter that held his last words to her for some time, and instructions on what should be done with the shop. Waking the next morning, Awai opened the letter and read it a couple times before registering what it all meant. Suddenly bursting into a fit of tears and having nothing else to do but curl up into her blankets and sob for the remainder of the day, it was plain to see, she was utterly devastated with the news. This was something she never would have expected. The following morning, she opened up the shop early with the best smile she could have. Shinobi seemed to line up less and less for their goods as they saw a child running the shop. This saddened Awai further as she leaned her head in her hand against the counter with a sigh. She wondered where her father was now-- or where he was going. This was utterly unfair. No one should have to face something such as this.

Theme Song: "Just trying to make a living..." One day while the shop was closed up and the girl had been walking through the streets, she came across a sight that intrigued her fully. She saw another child- the same age as her - making his way around an older man before slipping a hand skillfully into his pocket and taking off with a fair amount of money. The man hadn't even noticed either! There was an idea. Spending the next few hours watching a few others Do the same just as the boy had done, Awai finally came to her senses and decided to try it out herself. Sneaking up on an older woman, she reached into her pocket, nabbing a few coins from her, but nothing more and taking off. A clean getaway! Maybe this was just what she was going to do from now on! Days went by and the girl seemed to have her life cut out for her. She began to steal more and more money from people to the point where she was able to hold her own. She sold off the stand to a poor man before continuing her life on the path of stealing. The same day, she came across a wealthy man who had been in the village area. this was it, the ultimate heist. Getting herself ready, Awai snuck up behind the man very carefully before snaking her hand into his pocket and taking his money. Looking at it for a few short seconds, she grinned before beginning to make her escape-- only to have the man grab her by the arm tightly. Awai wiggled her arm trying to get free but only had the man hand her over to two shinobi who brought her to the prison and threw her in.
It was in prison when she picked up her fascination with dancing. One of the other inmates twirled and spun her way across her cell; singing some old song in a language long lost to time. Awai would often find herself mimicking the woman on the other side of the room eventually perfecting her own way of dance. The woman would applaud the girl’s quickly learning of her technique. Within a few months, Awai was bailed out of prison by an unknown benefactor. Confused and curious on who would come to her so called rescue, Awai would begin to ask around the guards to see if they knew the person who had paid her dues. No one had any answers. With no answers, the girl would shrug it off and continue on with her life, dancing to her heart’s content. At least, until weird things began to happen.

Theme Song: "A new...friend?" Walking along the streets of Kumo, she noticed a man had been following her. She rounded a few corners in an attempt to lose him. He stuck out like a sore thumb with his odd clothing. Coming to a dead end, Awai turned and looked to the man who was in white robes and a strange hat. Throwing her fists up she got ready to defend herself. The man would grin before holding his hands up to the girl, showing he was of no threat. Explaining to her that he was the one who had paid her bail to release her, he was now here to claim a favor. He had come to her with a request. Taking note from the first time he met her, he noticed that the small girl had a greater pool of chakra within her. He begun to explain that she was the perfect candidate to help in a little project. Awai was uncertain what he had meant by such a thing. It was then that he asked her if she would help him with a very important job-- Sealing Gyuki within her. Awai blinked a couple times, not understanding. He explained to her that he was a demon that had terrorized the village and that only someone with a greater amount of chakra would be able to tame him. Awai thought about it for a quick moment before agreeing to it. It wasn’t like she had much more of an option with what the man could hold over her head- and potentially send her back to prison for. Grinning at her compitanct, he then lead her to the sealing chamber below the kage residence.
Laying across the ground in a sealing circle, Awai felt her courage leaving her rather quickly. She began to wonder if she could take it all back now. Biting down on her lip as she saw a purple mass swimming around in a container, then seeing the man talking to a small group of shinobi, she looked to the ceiling. She had to be brave, she had to do this for the sake of the village!- and to keep her out of the big house. Exhaling coolly she closed her eyes as the group neared her. Seeing the man perform a set of hand signs, then place his hands on to her stomach, she felt herself faint from pressure. She could recall a strange dream. A gruff voice talking to her and an ox like figure behind a cage. This was something new, she didn't quite understand.

Theme Song: "Retirement came early..." Once achieving her jounin rank, she decided to give it all up. It was time to move on from the violence, settle down to so speak and start her real dream of opening up her tattoo shop at long last. Given the preparations she hung up her headband, flack jacket, and any sort of accessory or notice she was given through her time as a proper shinobi. Since then she has happily settled into a home with her wonderful boyfriend of two [2] years; Junko Saratobi.
