Everything had been done which could be done, time spent with his parents, things gathered and set aside with Wolframite, he'd picked his new last name even. The only thing now was to finally make the change, something he was honestly a bit nervous about. He'd gone out the other evening with Kai as well, for coffee, but he'd refrained from mentioning this to the other. He didn't know how to approach the topic and it wasn't something you just came right out and said. This whole senshi and negaverse thing...you didn't just tell people - he knew that.

So he'd kept silent and enjoyed the others company and the hot coffee. He would miss him and he wanted to enjoy the last time together, he really did.

He'd finished a customers tattoo so he didn't leave her with half a sleeve done and needing to find a new artist, he wasn't that cruel.

He hadn't scheduled anyone new and had even asked for a vacation for a week, not telling his co-workers why or that they would never see him again.

He'd done his best to make things as smoothe as they could be...to tie up loose ends. Some ends couldn't be tied though and things would come to a sudden screeching end and he knew it - he hated it.

But as he stood on the roof top waiting he knew there was no going back. He had already dug his gave, sort to speak, when he'd attacked that senshi from behind. He couldn't change his mind and be some happy, helping, senshi. He'd be turned on by them and Wolframite would no doubt find him and deal with him one way or another. No, he was ready and it wasn't at all against his will either. This was what he needed and more importantly...this was what he wanted. He wanted this and he needed the other to turn up tonight and make things right - make him right.

Tapping one slippered foot on the ground he continued to look around while he huddled into the coat he'd brought, it was still chilly out.

PostPosted: Fri Apr 02, 2021 6:31 pm

He had taken time to keep checking the roof. They agreed, and time was given. Time to sort out everything the one would need with a life. A life Wolframite didn't fully know or could understand, but one he knew was valuable to most people. A life that could all vanish in a blink of a eye and whose history could be shrouded. Time was needed, but there was never enough time to sort out everything. That's why you had to give a limit in some cases. But he gave all the warnings. Been upfront as possible to make this all transparent and clear. There were no lies to be had so that the other could make his own decisions. Wolframite had no ill will towards him, but the understanding that if push came to shove, this was war and they were enemies. Death would come at some point to either of them. They were on either sides of a very firm line.

There was a crunch of gravel as the half-youma landed, rising up from a crouch and spotting the figure. Up here on the roof, the wind was cold and the lights shined up from the streets below.

"Hello again." He said, walking over.

Turning at the familiar, and welcome, voice he nodded his head once. "Hello again to you too." A bit of a quirking to his lips, indicating something of a smile, as he approached the smaller figure. "I've done all that I can to smooth things over. I tried to heal some of the issues between my parents and I." He'd rather things not end of them on a bad note, or at least better than could be.

"My job gave me vacation and I finished with clients...so no one will be left needing me and I won't be there." He knew some clients formed a bond with an artist and wanted them for everything, it was understandable in his industry. Sometimes you wanted to see a plan out with the same person...that a bond of trust and understanding was formed. He had to finish that one last person - that sleeve. It had taken a lot of work and planning, many sessions, but they were done.

"I've made my peace sort to speak." And he was ready, as if he needed to say those exact words.

"Now what happens?"

PostPosted: Fri Apr 02, 2021 6:46 pm

"Do you have everything on you that you need?" He asked, looking about to see if he had something like luggage.

"If you are ready, I can call up someone to help with the process. I could do it, but it would be very risky, and I want this to be as easy on you as possible. I don't want to take any risks that we don't have to take." He asked, moving closer with a smile. He set a hand on his shoulder.

"I have to say I'm really proud of you taking this step and going this far. I'll be here for you every step of the way. You won't be alone. Like I promised."

"If you are good to go now, I'll send out the call."

"I gave you everything I needed to keep." He'd even left a second package of things, things he'd picked up between the first and second package and things he'd gained from his parents. "I'm as ready as I can be. I hope you've picked out a name for me." Since he'd picked out his last name he had asked Wolframite to pick him out a first name, and had left a book with name ideas. He was trusting the other not to make him sound bad.

"That sounds good." Though he didn't like someone else being involved he understood the reasoning and wouldn't fight it, if the other thought it best than he would deal with it. He wasn't exactly in a position to fight things anyway.

"I know, and I'm glad I have a choice in this now." Something he hadn't had when he'd been brought into this all. He finally had a choice and he was making that choice. Someone had let him do it - had not attacked him. In fact....he hadn't had a bad interaction with the Negaverse yet. That was promising.

"Send out the call. I'm as ready as can be."

"I have one. I'll give it to you after. When I'm sure you can remember it." He said with a toothy smile.

He pulled out his crystal and with it, called out. He waited, and once he got someone on the phone, explained what was happening. The place. The reason. The need for help.

He had someone to bring into the family.

Sometimes, Axinite was a bit delayed. Sometimes, like tonight, he came in less than a minute. Times like this were uncommon--rare, really--when someone willingly wanted to join. Taken by force? He was used to that.

It was always refreshing to see someone choosing to come over.

Choosing to be saved.

Axinite wasn’t going to give them time to change their mind.

“Wolframite,” he greeted, “Good to see you. Thank you for working so hard.”

His attention moved to the Senshi in front of him, and he smiled politely. “And you. It’s nice to meet you. I am General-King Axinite.” He looked at the Senshi, taking in all that he could in the span of the few seconds it took him to introduce himself. “It’s a pleasure. I suppose everything is in order?”

He looked to Wolframite for confirmation, and then back to the Senshi. “Do you have everything prepared, are you ready?”

There was no point in asking too many questions now--not when there was a risk of him forgetting things. Axinite would repeat himself if necessary, but he was more eager to claim this senshi now so they could really get started with him.

He was surprised by how quickly the new comer arrived, though glad for it. He was, in all honesty, a bit nervous over what was to come and how it was to come about. He knew it wasn't likely to be pleasant but he did hope the pain wouldn't be too bad. He wasn't going to back out though. He'd made his choice.

"It's good to see you as well. Everything is in order, thanks to Wolframite informing me of what would happen when I changed sides. I was properly able to prepare and he took things that I'm likely to need once this night is over." The other had helped him immensely and made things as easy as they could be, or so he figured. A glance to Wolframite and he nodded his head once. "I'll collect my things as soon as I can from you. I hope they haven't taken up too much space." Since he had left a second box for the other, much smaller than the first though.

"I already picked out a new last name and Wolframite's picked out a first name for me. I'm sure I'll have new documents soon enough. So I'm as ready as I can be." He'd turned his attention by now to the General King, he really was hard to miss with such a strong and powerful aura.

"I'd like to keep the name Miyamoto....so the few on the other side who knew me, the cat who chose to bring me into all of this, will know me as I will soon be..." So the name would continue and they'd hear it again...and hear it attached to a corrupt senshi and not what he had been. They'd know his fate.

Wolframite bowed when the General King arrived, glad for the promptness and mindful that he was pulling them away from whatever pressing work they were doing. "Always a pleasure to see you again. I'm glad you could arrive here on such short notice. We won't take up much if your time." He assured the other.

Miyamoto was clear in his intent and Wolframite was glad the other hadn't wavered in the face of a General King and their own power.

"It's as he says. I have his belongings and will see to it his transition is guided and as easy as can be possible. They will stay with me until they are able to be on their own." He assured his superior.

"And it's not a bother, Miyamoto. You are making a drastic change. If I can't hold onto a few things then I wouldn't be prepared to take care of the rest of you."

He moved alongside the other, there to offer support and to catch him should the pain be too much to bear.

"I believe we are ready. Let us bring this one home."

Axinite listened, nodding with approval as Miyamoto explained himself and his intent. It was impossible to tell what the Chaos could do to a person’s starseed, to their memories, as it pulsed into them, as it healed them, but he assumed Wolframite had done his best to prepare for this--and Miyamoto had to know it was coming.

There didn’t appear to be any indication that the Senshi would waver, and Axinite wasn’t going to waste any opportunity that presented itself.

“Good,” he said to Wolframite, and nodded his head appreciatively. “Miyamoto, you are in good hands.”

But, he probably already knew that. Axinite just wanted Wolframite to hear it from himself, and to assure Miyamoto that he was making the right choice.

As he approached, he did so without any hostility. He didn’t want to scare the senshi, and gently laid his hand upon his chest.

“This will pass quickly,” he assured. “...Have faith for a little longer.”

And then, his hand slipped into Miyamoto’s chest, gripped his starseed, and pushed the Chaos into him. It was impossible for it to be a completely painless procedure, but Axinite kept a firm, but gentle, grip; the steady flow of Chaos was a clear sign that he had done this before--and he was good at it.

He wanted it over just as quickly as Miyamoto did.

He had faith, at least in this, he knew this was the right thing. This was his choice. This was what he needed to do and he would grit his teeth for as long as need be in order to see it through. When it was done he'd see where everything fell and figure it all out then.

The pain which hit was sudden, though not entirely unexpected, and it was enough it had him screaming at some point. He knew it would hurt, he wasn't an absolute idiot, but he wasn't sure how painful it would be. But not only did chaos take over and warp and change his uniform but with it came power - more than he'd had. He wasn't just a senshi of chaos but he'd upgraded as well, taken in more power. It seemed he had done well enough in someone's eyes and had earned a bit more.

The uniform changed and the pain did slowly come to an end, though it's after effects were still there. Shaking, his legs just managing to keep him up, the now corrupt senshi was able to open his eyes again. When they'd fallen closed he didn't know, he'd been too focused on the pain which had filled him and held fast onto his core.

He knew the person there though - Wolframite. So focused on the people here, on the feelings, on the lingering from the pain that he didn't notice just yet that he'd forgotten his civilian self. It was gone - the memories of all the good and bad times. The clients, his family, the few friends he had, co-workers - gone. All of it was gone. In it's place was a simple super senshi.

"s**t." That had hurt - a lot. It was worth it though, he knew that.

It was always nostalgic to see someone corrupt. It brought back memories of the first time, or for Wolframite, the second. The feeling of a hand reaching into a untouched body to graze their starseed and dictate their side of the war. The surprise and pain from a spot otherworldly that you couldn't explain it fully.

He watched close by, patient and waiting, until the senshi's uniform wavered, shifted, darkened, and the crack started to form below their collarbone and brow. Corrupted senshi - he wondered how their corruption compared to someone like him.

As the other wavered, he reached over and took the other's arm to steady him and offer whatever support, physically or figuratively, that he could provide.

"It gets you. Don't try to push yourself. You took on a lot more than I expected." And he was unsure why his signature felt stronger than what he predicted.

Axinite smiled, and while he didn’t quite laugh, he released a small breath of air that almost passed for as much.

He knew how it hurt to grow, but he had never known the pain of swapping sides. He couldn’t imagine a world where he ever would, but he was glad to have Miyamoto on the right side, now.

“You did very well, Miyamoto.” He looked to Wolframite, and while Axinite held himself very well, for a split second there was an undeniable look of tiredness in his eyes. It was replaced quickly with relief, and he smiled again. “Wolframite. I’m glad to have you here. I know I can trust you to take good care of him. You’ll give him the run-down, I hope,” he said, though really already had faith that Wolframite had as much planned. “But I hope the both of you know that you’re welcome to come to me if there’s anything more I can do for you.”

He stood a little straighter. “But please, take some time to relax, and acclimate, Miyamoto. I don’t want you pushing yourself too hard. I won’t deny being eager to see what you can do for us. The Negaverse is fortunate to have you--to have both of you.”

Nodding his head he didn't speak for several moments. "I know, I know I need to rest." he could feel it in his body, in every fiber, he knew a rest would be needed more than almost anything else right now. One thing however weighed down on him and pushed itself to the forefront of his mind. He couldn't remember who he'd been as a civilian...there was no name to attach to who he'd be once he powered down. He knew he'd once had a name, everyone did, and he knew he'd lose some memories...he'd give up a part of himself - this was it. He'd lost the memories of his family, his career, his home. It hurt deep in a hallow sort of sense...like a giant gaping hole was there. He couldn't even try and fathom a guess to any of the missing pieces.

He could go to the General King for anything he needed...he needed a life, a name. Looking to Wolframite he moved towards him and reached for the half youma. "I remember I gave you a letter, I reread it when I left a box for you. A name....I said I'd pick my last name but I wanted you to pick out a first name for me." Since Wolframite was helping, in an odd sense, to birth a new him - to give him a new life.

"I need a name...and papers then." So he could get through the world. He'd need identification made up with a name and if he wanted an education as well. He would need to see if the boxes contained hints to his past career and education, he was sure they would. He wasn't the sort to exclude such important things about himself.

"I can get identification and paperwork?" Looking to the General King even as he leaned some of his weight on the Captain, hoping it was ok to do so. "I'll rest once I have a name and know I'll have papers. I can't serve and do my best if I can't move about in the world." And to do that he needed identification and paperwork. He would work out the rest, he'd have to, but he was too tired and weak and it was keeping the panic and racing of thoughts from hitting him. It would hit later, once this was all over, he knew it would.

"Amamiya for the family name..." He didn't know if he'd thought about it, and forgotten what he might have decided on, but it was what came to him now. "Using the characters for rain and shrine...I think it fits." At least loosely, given his magic. He held a questioning look in his dark eyes as they focused back on Wolframite. Was it an ok surname? Did the other pick something out for him that would fit? Did he pick something out at all? He was certain he had...he could trust the other, he had this far after all.

"We can get you paperwork. The Guardian cats are good for the techwork and getting you into the system. They make fake IDs for us. I can show you them, and we can get everything settled so that you can traverse the city without issue." He was glad to give Miyamoto any assistance he would need, being the staff to lean upon as he took this journey until he saw he no longer needed him and could move on his own two feet.

- but there should he ever need a rest.

"Kioshi. I thought a while to give you a name that suited you." And one that he thought sounded nice. Hopefully a name that meant quiet would give him the ability to move without notice, and for the world to be quiet for him. To give him peace here.

"Kioshi Amamiya." He rolled the whole name together. Quiet - Rain - Shrine.

"How about we take you home now?"
