Herschel felt like he was getting the hang of this Senshi business. Not that he was using his special abilities much more than he had been before. Which was very little unless he needed to get around. He'd even stopped hiding away on the rooftops for most of his nights when he wasn't on the ground hunting down a potential victim. Which was what he had been doing before the sudden visit. Even this he was getting used to. Somewhat. He honestly wasn't sure how he felt about it, gathering energy from people who didn't want it to be taken from them. It was a strange feeling. Not that he cared all that much about it. It didn't seem to hurt the people in the long run, just zapped a bit of their energy that they'd refill later on. Like donating blood. Against your will.

But it didn't matter what he thought or felt. It never really did, civilian or Powered. He was here to do a duty and he would do it.

Herschel finished gathering the last of the energy he would from the man he had pinned against the side of the building, using his strength to keep the person where he needed them to be. He set the man gently down on the ground to wake up on his own later and moved away, flexing the fingers of the hand he had used to draw it out. He was debating if he should power down and go home as he idly walked around the city when he felt a strong signature nearby and almost bolted before he realized it was an ally. And before he could even settle down with the realization, it suddenly popped closer and a flash of black and pink landed nearby. Herschel couldn't help a little jump. He really wasn't used to anyone doing that.

"Hello," he greeted, a tiny bit of his usual grumpiness entering his voice at being caught so off guard. Did she expect him to say something about the jump? She probably did. "That was....Impressive."
