Today was a day off. And a Sunday. Isiah liked having at least one weekend day off, for he spent much of his week at the college, studying art and than working some shifts at the bakery. Sometimes he felt like he should just quit college. He was only doing it because that's what you did when you left High School, right? You went to college or university or at least studied for some trade. He'd had no plans for his future even while applying to colleges and had chosen art simply for the reason that he'd always enjoyed sketching. None of the other courses anyone else was offering had appealed to him. But the more he worked at the bakery, the more he was realizing this was what he wanted to do. He wanted to make elaborate cake designs, like those reality shows he sometimes watched on TV.

Unfortunately, his grandparents were paying his way through college and he didn't want to throw that into their face by giving up. Besides, he was learning some neat techniques and styles from his classes. He'd never have branched out as he was now had he skipped college altogether.

Isiah thanked the person behind the counter for his coffee, exiting the cafe with art bag slung over his shoulder. Always with the art bag slung over his shoulder. Inside was his drawing tablet, sketchbooks, and different sketch and colored pencils, markers, and, a new addition, charcoal. Messy, but still just as fun. He found a bench in a nearby park, not to far away from the entrance and pulled out a small sketchbook with a piece of charcoal, glancing around him until he settled on a crow picking at some garbage on the side of the walkway.

Maybe I overthink things, so I just threw him outside. xD
