Her name was Lilith. The two brothers constantly fought for her affection. They tried to impress her with feats of physical prowess, and brought her grand gifts, but no matter how hard they tried their efforts always fell short.
In the end it was Able, being more mature than his brother, was the one to impress her. He thought not of himself but of her and what she might want out of life. Able tamed the first wolf, and brought it back to her as a gift. It was to be her companion in life regardless of whom she chose - someone she could rely on and love. The fact that he'd been so thoughtful and put so much effort into thinking what she wanted from life moved her. She chose him to be her companion through life. For this great deed she secretly bestowed upon him a gift. She took the wolf and skinned it. She took the wolf that he'd given her and added the power of creation. While he slept she draped it over him and performed a powerful ritual, turning Able into the first werewolf.
This did not sit well with Cain and his anger and jealousy grew with each passing day. Cain watched with growing rage as Lilith's belly swelled with Able's seed. After months of seeing them happy while he remained lonely, he could no longer contain his rage. Under the cloak of darkness, he crept into their shelter. He killed his brother with a piece of silver ore while he slept. It was then that Lilith revealed to Cain what she truly was... She cursed Cain's bloodline. From that point on he would know eternal torment. His hate, anger, and petty jealousy would plague his line for eternity. As he'd so cowardly slew his brother during the dark of night, his line would never again know the warm embrace of the sunlight. Cain and his children would forever be killers, doomed to destroy what they loved, and thus the first vampires were born.
Even as Able's last seed grew in her belly, Lilith fled from the wrath of Cain. She decided to wandered the Earth to look for a new place to call home. Unfortunately her own anger and loneliness twisted the child inside of her. When this one was born instead of being able to take full wolf form like his father, it was like nothing that had been born on Earth before.
While Lilith and her son roamed the Earth, they never seemed to find a place to call their own. Human settlements feared the both of them. She could hardly blame them - her son had quite the temper, especially around the full moon, and more than enough strength to pose a threat. What posed more of a threat, however, was the Blood of Cain. During their travels, Lilith began to see the devastation left in the brood's wake. Everywhere she turned there was death. Only she and her son seemed to be able to stand up to the Blood Thirsty creatures that Cain begot. Finally she had enough and realized the errors of her own ways - they were not enough to protect the world from Cain.
Lilith gathered a band of people that had been doing their best to combat the spawn of Cain's curse. She transformed those twelve humans as she had with Able. Each received a different blessing from the moon and from nature around them. The wolves created that day are the original Twelve werewolf bloodlines. With their help, Lilith pushed back Cain's Brood enough to let humanity thrive. When that happened all those that took part decided to split around the world to help ensure that Cain's kind never again pose such a great threat to humanity.

The official story was a gang war gone wrong, but any self respecting werewolf would know better than that. It was a hit, but who had carried it out? These people are part human, part supernatural wolf. They may have been born a werewolf or turned into a werewolf. In either case they gain a supernatural sixth sense in the form of heightened instincts. They also are bonded to their packmates for better or for worse and that's a bond that's hard to break. Unlike other races, Werewolves are still connected to the tricky concept of 'humanity' in the form of compassion. So while they are capable of great violence they are also capable of great love. Werewolves are essentially guardians. They are a way to balance the world; they are the protectors of humanity and the natural order of the world.
All werewolves have 3 forms that they can utalize different levels of physical and mental prowess in. Switching between forms is a painful process as bones shift and change while the rest of the body forms to accommodate as a fairly rapid speed.
Human Form - They are twice as strong as a normal human with their muscle mass. This is because their muscle fibers differ from humans; giving them an increased weight (an extra 25% compared to a human contemporary) and strength. Average females tend to be able to lift 300 pounds in this form while average males can lift 600. Muscular and very large females can lift around 600 pounds while large, muscular males can lift around 800 pounds. Both Males and Females in this form have an average speed of around 40 miles per hour. All senses are heightened compared to a human as well but they are muted or weak compared to the other forms. This is the form that brain activity is the most acute in; in other words they can think the most clearly.
Shifted Form - This is when they start to change their body but stop before a full transformation begins; their weight tends to stay the same. In this form werewolves have protruded cranial ridges, their fangs have come in as has their claws. Their eyes shine with inhuman colors at this point too. Some may grow more facial hair while in this form. While they loose some ability think clearly, they are gain more power. Their senses become dialed up to that of the average canine while in this form. Werewolves in a Shifted form are much strong as a human. Females can lift between 500 to 1,500 pounds and males can lift between 800 to 2,000 pounds. Both males and females can run at a speed around 60 miles an hour.
Wolf Form - As the name suggests, this is the form where the werewolf is in full wolf forms. Wolves tend to be twice the size as a normal Timber wolf; averaging a haunch height of a standard car with males being larger than females normally. They are about as heavy as a bear. Their senses are at their strongest in this form - matching that of a healthy wolf while maintaining the ability to see in color like a human. Werewolves in this form are easily, no question stronger than a human. Females can lift around 2,000 pounds while males can lift around 3,000 pounds. They can run around a speed of 80 miles an hour. It is in this form that guns, unless they're armor piercing, have significantly reduced affects on them. Their thoughts tend to be more primal and pack orientated though they are still able to understand human speech if they are calm.
Healing - One of their greatest assets against the forces of evil is the ability to love Heal at rapid rates. Standard wolves can heal a grazing wound within ten minutes and a critical wound within forty minutes while Alphas can heal a small wound within five minutes and a critical one within twenty minutes.
Aging - Once they've reached their prime physical age (between 25 to 35), Werewolves' aging slows down dramatically. The average werewolf can live around 300 years old and die looking only 50. An Alpha can live up to 500 years and only look 50 years old when they pass as well.
Sexual Differences - Males are generally larger in all forms than females and, like in humans, accumulate more muscle mass. However while this means that females are weaker as far as lifting and hitting strength, they can endure more pain and feel it to a lesser degree than males. Females are also more nimble or agile. Males usually have a more acute sense of smell when it comes to blood while females have a more acute sense of long distance hearing.
Silver disrupts their ability to heal the affected area. A cut made with a silver dagger or sword heals much more slowly than a regular wound. If the silver is left in, the wound can not heal until the silver is removed. Likewise Wolvesbane is a poison to their system; it causes their system to heal at the rate of a human's. In small doses it's also been known to cause madness or visual hallucinations.
Due to their enhanced senses, strong scents, sounds, and lights can be used against them. Strong scents can be used to distract or disorient them. Sounds can do the same or, if loud enough at the right frequency, cause them great pain. Bright lights are used to great affect at night to blind them and stun them temporarily.
Shifting - On top of being painful, a full shift from human to wolf form can take anywhere from three minutes and a half to ten minutes depending on the wolf. While they are shifting to a full wolf or back into human form, a werewolf is vulnerable.
Age - Until they reach puberty, almost all werewolves only have access to their human form. This means that killing a werewolf is easiest when they're a child. When their body matures around the ages of twelve to sixteen they gain access to their Shifted form. As this gives them access to more primal urges (such as rage and lust) as well as tends to be overwhelming, it's also easier to kill an adolescent werewolf than an adult. It's not until they reach their prime age (usually between 25 to 35 depending on the werewolf) that a werewolf gains access to their wolf form and their aging slows down drastically.
Alphas are the most powerful form of werewolf. Alphas usually start out as Beta Werewolves, but not always. They are then chosen by their pack to lead them. They need at least 6 other werewolves to choose them as their leader. When an Alpha is chosen, the pack is weakened (almost to the point of being human) for a full lunar cycle. Then they regain all of their abilities by the next full moon. This Ascension gives Alpha's access to higher healing, the ability to command their packmates regardless of their packmates mental state, and the ability to turn a human into a werewolf. This accession is marked by their eyes turning red when in a Shifted or Wolf form.
Betas are regular werewolves. This is mostly a level of distinction based on merit. Betas are the most trained or skilled warriors of the pack. There are usually only 1 for every 50 regular wolves in the pack. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
Leaders are regular werewolves that are in charge of a couple family of werewolves within a certain area. They help the Alphas keep order. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
Packmates is the general term for werewolves that are not Betas, Leaders, or Omegas. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
Omegas is the lowest rank within a pack. These are usually packmates that are the weakest or are not well respected as they do not contribute to the pack in one way or another. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
Rogues are werewolves without a pack. They the ones that have been living with humans before their dormant Werewolf genetics were activated by the presence of a Vampire. Alphas may add them to their pack if they are found worthy. If they are considered a danger to the pack or the territory, they are exterminated. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
There are Thirteen bloodlines that make up the Werewolf species. These bloodlines all have their own unique trait. Children born from two werewolves from different bloodlines will only have one of the traits - they will only be able to carry on one bloodline at a time.
There can only be Thirteen Ruling Alphas at a time - one from each Bloodline. Packs can have multiple smaller packs across a territory made of three or so families at a time. Those in charge of those family based packs are called Leaders. Leaders all answer to their Ruling Alpha. When their Alpha calls, they are expected to listen. Leaders are often the ones that become the Alpha's Betas; but that's not always the case.
The Golden Moon Pack is found in Northern Canada. This bloodline has a special talent of being able to communicate with all canines like they're talking to another human.
The Blood Moon Pack is in lower Canada. They are known to heal at a quicker rate than other bloodlines.
The Eclipsing Moon Pack stay within Continental United States. Their bloodline has a talent for faster shifting - the quickest are known to be be able to shift within a two and a half minutes.
The Hunters Moon Pack can be found in Mexico all the way down through the middle of Peru and Brazil. They have sharper, stronger senses than all other packs.
The Silver Moon Pack has claimed the territory below the Hunter's Moon Pack in South America. They somehow have grown tolerant of silver, some are even rumored to be immune to the effects.
The Winter Moon Pack is found in Nordic regions such as Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Their skin and fur is incredibly thick which allows them to take less damage from most weapons.
The Spear Moon Pack resides in the European area going as far as Spain and Italy as well as into the Ukraine. They are the (physically) strongest of all packs.
The Howling Moon Pack hails from Norther Africa and the Middle East. They have the rare gift that allows them to take other's pain and negate it within their own system, helping others heal faster by doing this.
The Storm Moon Pack has the largest territory as they are have claimed Africa as their area. They are able to do this, in part, because they are twice as fast as other werewolves and can cover greater distances because of that.
The Dark Moon Pack has one of the harshest territories as they cover Siberia and Alaska. With the lack of daylight in some seaoson, they have evolved true night vision. They can see even in the darkest of nights and have infrared vision as well.
The Frost Moon Pack covers the Russian territory through Mongolia. They have such high pain tolerance that they seem to barely feel when they've been injured.
The Harvest Moon Pack is in China, Korea, Japan, and other close island nations. They have a rare capability to communicate between packmates and send other werewolves mental messages over great distance.

Alphas usually start out as Beta Werewolves, but not always. They are then chosen by their pack to lead them. They need at least 6 other werewolves to choose them as their leader. When an Alpha is chosen, the pack is weakened (almost to the point of being human) for a full lunar cycle. Then they regain all of their abilities by the next full moon. This Ascension gives Alpha's access to higher healing, the ability to [b]command[/b] their packmates regardless of their packmates mental state, and the ability to [b]turn a human[/b] into a werewolf. This accession is marked by their eyes turning red when in a Shifted or Wolf form.
[b]Betas[/b] are regular werewolves. This is mostly a level of distinction based on merit. Betas are the most trained or skilled warriors of the pack. There are usually only 1 for every 50 regular wolves in the pack. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
[b]Leaders[/b] are regular werewolves that are in charge of a couple family of werewolves within a certain area. They help the Alphas keep order. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
[b]Packmates[/b] is the general term for werewolves that are not Betas, Leaders, or Omegas. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
[b]Omegas[/b] is the lowest rank within a pack. These are usually packmates that are the weakest or are not well respected as they do not contribute to the pack in one way or another. They can have blue, gold, or green eyes in Shifted or Wolf form.
[b]Rogues[/b] are werewolves without a pack. They the ones that have been living with humans before their dormant Werewolf genetics were activated by the presence of a Vampire. Alphas may add them to their pack if they are found worthy. If they are considered a danger to the pack or the territory, they are exterminated. These bloodlines all have their own unique trait. Children born from two werewolves from different bloodlines will only have one of the traits - they will only be able to carry on one bloodline at a time.
There can only be [b]Thirteen Ruling Alphas[/b] at a time - one from each Bloodline. Packs can have multiple smaller packs across a territory made of three or so families at a time. Those in charge of those family based packs are called Leaders. Leaders all answer to their Ruling Alpha. When their Alpha calls, they are expected to listen. Leaders are often the ones that become the Alpha's Betas; but that's not always the case.
[spoiler]The [color=goldenrod]Golden Moon Pack[/color] is found in Northern Canada. This bloodline has a special talent of being able to communicate with all canines like they're talking to another human.
The [color=crimson]Blood Moon Pack[/color] is in lower Canada. They are known to heal at a quicker rate than other bloodlines.
The [color=lightsteelblue]Eclipsing Moon Pack[/color] stay within Continental United States. Their bloodline has a talent for faster shifting - the quickest are known to be be able to shift within a two and a half minutes.
The [color=forestgreen]Hunters Moon Pack[/color] can be found in Mexico all the way down through the middle of Peru and Brazil. They have sharper, stronger senses than all other packs.
The [color=gray]Silver Moon Pack[/color] has claimed the territory below the Hunter's Moon Pack in South America. They somehow have grown tolerant of silver, some are even rumored to be immune to the effects.
The [color=lightskyblue]Winter Moon Pack[/color] is found in Nordic regions such as Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Their skin and fur is incredibly thick which allows them to take less damage from most weapons.
The [color=tan]Spear Moon Pack[/color] resides in the European area going as far as Spain and Italy as well as into the Ukraine. They are the (physically) strongest of all packs.
The [color=coral]Howling Moon Pack[/color] hails from Norther Africa and the Middle East. They have the rare gift that allows them to take other's pain and negate it within their own system, helping others heal faster by doing this.
The [color=steelblue]Storm Moon Pack[/color] has the largest territory as they are have claimed Africa as their area. They are able to do this, in part, because they are twice as fast as other werewolves and can cover greater distances because of that.
The [color=DarkOliveGreen]Dark Moon Pack[/color] has one of the harshest territories as they cover Siberia and Alaska. With the lack of daylight in some seaoson, they have evolved true night vision. They can see even in the darkest of nights and have infrared vision as well.
The [color=powderblue]Frost Moon Pack[/color] covers the Russian territory through Mongolia. They have such high pain tolerance that they seem to barely feel when they've been injured.
The [color=sienna]Harvest Moon Pack[/color] is in China, Korea, Japan, and other close island nations. They have a rare capability to communicate between packmates and send other werewolves mental messages over great distance.
[strike]The [color=royalblue]Blue Moon Pack[/color] was known to roam the world as they had a harder time settling down. This is, in part, due to their bloodline having a 4th form - a Lycan form that inspired most modern horror depictions of Werewolves. Unfortunately...the Vampires have wiped them out. In the reserve you will notice Seven stats with 10 spots stat possibilities each. These stats are to help you customize your character and may be applied if characters ever get in a fight with each other or with plot based creatures. Please use the appropriate pack color to fill in your stat bar.
In the code for the reserve and profile you will see a code that says color=COLOR HERE next to the blocks. You add the appropriate color there. Then you close out the color code after the appropriate amount of blocks.
When it comes to physical stats (strength, speed, agility, stamina, tolerance) 1 stat point is average human level, 2 stat points are healthy human athletes, and 3 stat points are peak human ability. 6 to 7 stat points is the physical cap for werewolves in human form. The human form (your face claim) should reflect their stats.
Alphas have 45 stat points to use. Betas have 40 stat points. Packmembers have 35 stat points.
Please make sure that your character's reserve GIF is saved and then uploaded with your character's name in the file name. This will help me a lot with coding. Example: victor.gif
