About
Arehoudai Enju
Meaning - Enju was firstly supposed to be Enjuku, for perfection, but ended up being Enju for longevity. Arehoudai meaning gone to ruin. A strange meaning that becomes fitting for the history of this family.
Age - 18
Personality - Enju often harbors a very raw spirit. He's flirtatious and outgoing and is known for being brutally honest. He wants the best for everyone but often hides behind a charming facade for many reasons.
Appearance - Tall and well built, Enju keeps fit by swimming and genreally keeping himself busy. His body is muscular but he is not overly buff. His eyes are an eerie orange that turn golder in the light. Pitch black hair lays in a mess on his head, thick and full. His skin is a very pale cream color with pearly pink scars marring his back in an intricate and grimly beautiful pattern.
Occupation - Enju is unusally talented for a Gehaka. His passion is botany and all things concering plants, from healing herbs to the art of ikebana. The second is fighting, which he takes little pleasure in.
Likes - Flowers, art, people, flirting, gardens, rivers, pools, eel, pain
Dislikes - Seeing loved ones get hurt, hurting others, being inside, betrayal
Fighting Style - Enju specializes in hand to hand combat. He prefers neutralizing his opponents rather than hurting them. He uses some weapons but is fast and strong enough to do without. Some weapons he does use are any sorts of swords and sometimes uses pressure points to paralyze his enemy.

Gardens
The Magoi Gardens
The Gardens are big enough to be seperated into three sections. All are equally beautiful and different from the next. The gardens are usualy taken care of by the Arehoudai gehaka and also Ikebana classes take place here.
Chaniwa Magoi - This section is also called the orchid gallery. Tons of orchids, all of different shapes and sizes are grown here. Benches are lined up in a circle around a grass clearing, orchids surrounding the area. A wooden plank path winds through the garden, lanterns strung around the path making for a romantic walk at night. This is one of the most popular spots for haka to have tea and picnic with their Gehaka.
Tsukiyama Magoi - In this area, there are many ponds, a small stream, tiny hills and smooth stone path. Some large floruishing trees, blooming with flowers provide shade in this relaxing part of Magoi. Little bridges and paths are used to create a miniature reproduction of a natural scenery.
Karesansui Magoi - The Karesansui gardens reproduce natural landscapes in a more abstract way by using stones, gravel, sand and sometimes a few patches of moss for representing mountains, islands, boats, seas and rivers. Karesansui gardens are strongly influenced by Zen Buddhism and used for meditation. These are dominant over this part of Magoi, a few small bonzai's planted here and there.

Training
Training
Enju started training from a young boy to become a fighter. Somewhere in his young adulthood, that goal changed and he now loathes fighting. While a prominent method of fighting is to use weapons, Enju also dislikes to use them and uses only his hands and smaller weapons in defense.
Boxing - This type of boxing utilizes the knees and elbows the most. Enju is strong enough to jump extremely high and is very strong. His kicks are his most used attack and prefers to try and neurtralize his enemy instead of killing; he only kills when specifcally ordered to.
Sword - Enju's dislike for weapons doesn't help with his wielding them. He often trains against his mothers Gehaka, against their swords, and has finally begun training to actually wield one. He isn't skilled with it as of yet but his power and reach give him a good advantage when using one.
Throwing Stars - These he employs more for fun then for fighting. He usually trains with these by trying to hit falling leaves off his plants.
