XXXXXAh, it was another beautiful day in...
"How have I forgotten where I was that quickly?" a red-haired male uttered, seeming to be at quite a loss. He was also rather lost. He had been in this new Region for about a week now, but he still had no idea what was where, or even who was who. Even the Region's name had slipped his mind, though it quickly came back to him with a snap of his fingers. "That's right, the Pluto Region! We came here for official business after being sent that letter!" he exclaimed to no one in particular, nodding his head and smiling, overflowing with his own pride. Although his demeanor was soon shattered when he heard the words of the small Pokemon that was walking alongside him. Just a little Mimikyu, who was part of this man's team. "Hey, hey! Why don't ya say that to my face, you little punk!" the man countered, raising a fist as if he was about to go 1v1 with the Mimikyu. It "spoke" more words of the "Pokemon language", though it seemed the man understood it almost as if it were the same as the language Humans spoke. "Why you- that's it, let's g-" their argument was cut short when the bushes nearby began rustling, causing the pair to jump back in surprise and get into defensive stances.
What stepped out of the bushes was no more than a Breloom, but that didn't cause the two to be any less wary. When it came to Wild Pokemon, one could never be too safe. Mimikyu formed a pair of shadow hands from under its "costume", punching its own palm as if showing what it were about to do to the opposing Pokemon. Though it was stopped short as the man knelt down and grabbed the back of its costume, causing Mimikyu to stop in its tracks. "Nuh-uh, we just had an argument. I'm not letting you go that easily." and with that statement, a Pokeball was sent from the man's hand, and out came a Mawile. Around its neck was a simple chain, adorned with a rather odd looking stone that shined brilliantly whenever the light hit it. Placing the Mimikyu on his head and holding up his right hand, the man revealed a thick golden ring, adorned with a stone about the same size as the Mawile's, but instead colored like a rainbow; a Key Stone. With this deduction, one would easily be able to tell the stone the Mawile had was, in fact, a Mega Stone; Mawilite. "Alright Masamune, let's show this guy who's boss!" the man exclaimed as the Mawile was surrounded by a glowing orb with the same symbol on it as the Key Stone. As this orb "shattered", the Mawile came out with a newer, fiercer looking appearance.
"Alright, let's make this quick and easy! Use Swords Dance, and dodge that Breloom's first attack!" the man ordered, his Mawile following his instructions flawlessly. As swords surrounded and clanged around the Mawile, the Breloom dashed forward, attempting to strike Mawile with a Dynamic Punch; although its move was dodged with ease, leaving the Wild Pokemon open for an easy counterattack. "Alright, end it with Play Rough!" the man ordered once again, the Mawile jumping at its target and being surrounded by a comedic dust cloud, which no one was able to see through. Though when it cleared, Breloom was fainted on the ground, and Mawile stood victorious, causing the man to smile and place his hands on his hips. "Great job, Masamune! Let's take Mimi and all of us can find our way out of here and find a place to eat. Sound good to you both?" the man asked, getting sounds of approval from both Pokemon before Mawile turned to normal. At last, they were able to find the exit and make it to a nearby diner, the man buying a map so that they wouldn't get lost so easily again.
