Teohe was...marginally less miserable today, at least enough so that she'd been released from the infirmary to go back to her little beachside hut - not that, at this particular time, she was loving that she had chosen the beach over a traditional weyr.  Nearly drowning had a way of making the ocean less pretty and more intimidating, after all.  Still, her choice had seemed like a good idea when they'd been given clearance to have their own weyrs, and surely one day she'd be able to appreciate it again.  Released though she'd been, she was still to take it easy for a few days, and had the rest of the day essentially to herself, before she'd begin a lighter schedule as she got her strength back.  It wasn't enough to put her at real risk of falling behind, and it certainly could have been worse - she could have actually drowned instead of almost-drowned, and already there were tales of those who'd lost fingers while fishing.  She really didn't even want to think about that, and hoped there would be no more fishing in her future.  Ever.

Once released, her first order of business was to bathe and change, and that too helped her to feel a bit better.  By the time she'd finished, still moving slowly as she was, it was the tail end of lunch, and she was able to squeak in just before the cut-off; though she was reasonably certain she'd have been given some wiggle room, on account of the fact that she was still recovering from her fishing-related accident and subsequent illness, she didn't want to push it.

After half a bowl of fishy broth and a small piece of bread (about all she could stomach in one sitting), she began the slow trek back to her hut.  She'd not gotten far at all, though, when she began to feel light-headed.  She had, after all, done quite a lot in the past candlemark or so - more than she had in days.  Thinking better of ignoring it and trudging on, she decided to sit and wait for it to pass.  Had Tiossith been awake and not napping on the fireheights, he'd surely have been fussing and insisting that she climb aboard and ride him down the beach, but quite frankly, she wasn't sure she trusted her balance - she was wont to topple over if she tried.  No, she would leave him to his nap, and get where she was going in her own time.
