Kian and Rhonann had spent the last few weeks enjoying their time together. Ever since closing the horrible chapter of Rhonann's past, Kian had found himself encouraging anything that would allow them to relax and to indulge in their victory. He knew that Rhonann had felt cooped up in Zena and while they had shared fun times with their family there was still that feeling of entrapment that he made certain to try and eradicate by slowly touring all of the countries along the way back home. Kian didn't even mind if they had to swap their usual route and go south towards Tale or even around Matori and Oba for a little bit instead of rushing home. The first few days had been spent enjoying hot springs and a nice little inn room that may or may not have resulted in a full day or two spent in bed together. Time well spent in his opinion indeed~
Now though they were back along the edges of Sauti and looking towards the mountains of Zena that were finally showing along the far horizon. Kain shifted as he studied the scenery, his traveling bags hanging loosely on his shoulders as he stared back towards their last inn almost longingly before finally glancing towards Rhonann. "Feeling ready to cross back over?" He asked quietly as he glanced towards the wind woman who had stolen his heart. If she wanted something else then he wouldn't even fight it. This trip, this whole month was all about Rhonann and supporting her. Spirits knew she had dealt with enough of his own shenanigans throughout the years and Kian was doing his best now to be supportive for her sake as well.

There was still occasionally an air of disbelief around Rhonann, particularly at night when she was lying in bed and waiting for sleep. Was the monster truly dead? Was she and her family truly free? Yet, there she was, back to traveling across Tendaji on what might have been a whim... When the sun was out and the ground was moving under her feet, she could feel it. The passing days that found her looking over her shoulder less and less were increasing, and she was able to really enjoy her time on their vacation.
She was eager to get back and share the experience with the boys. She had never been gone from them for so long before... The sight of the Zenan mountains made her excited, but also nervous with her gut twisting eagerly. "I'm ready," she said with a deep breath. "What is Tally going to do with herself when all of us are back out here?"

"Good question." Kian chuckled at the question. "I'm sure the whole valley will be in danger of her meddling or perhaps she'll take a vacation of her own." Spirits knew that they had kept his twin busy with her own teenagers and then their own children as well. He could only imagine what else could come into their home while they were away. The hybrid pursed his lips thoughtfully before raising a hand. "I mean....I'm almost afraid to imagine the next surprise to hit the manor." He quirked a brow thoughtfully towards Rhonann before glancing away almost innocently. Who knew? Maybe they would have a surprise of their own soon enough to slow them down by another year or two before they fully got into the swing of traveling again. It was another reason that Kian was enjoying his time returning with Rhonann since even he was wary about leaving home again. It would be strange to not be in Zena but at the same time he was eager to travel the world again. This time it would be for pure enjoyment and adventure instead of for darker purposes. Younger Kian would have never thought this was possible but yet here he was. The thought brought a small smile across his features before he reached out and bopped Rhonann playfully on the nose. "More importantly is what are you going to do with yourself? Any particular plans for our future?"

Rho smirked lightly and shook her head, fighting off a hint of nausea at the same time. Perhaps she needed some water? "I bet they'd like a vacation, too. They been stuck with them boys plus their own this whole time." She felt a tiny bit bad at being away for so long, but it had been well worth it. Perhaps even more worth it that she had initially thought...
She wrinkled her nose at the touch and waved her hand. "Could do anythin', right? Guess I really wanna show the boys how ta survive out here, ya know? I hate how cooped up we all been." The idea of her sons traveling on their own was exciting, but also made her nervous. So nervous. Too nervous. Why-? A deep groan emerged and the tangle in her stomach erupted, making her scramble to duck next to a dried out bush close by.

Kian chuckled. "Maybe though I think Eresin takes plenty of vacations on his own with all his traveling work." He teased lightly. Mostly it seemed Tally was the one who stayed at the sanctuary while the rest of them often went off and did their own little adventures here and there. Still, he had the feeling that she didn't mind considering how chaotic their pasts had been. It was nice to finally have a stable place that they could go without worry.
"You sure you'll be teaching the boys how to survive? Or is it that we're teaching the world how to handle them?" Joked Kian with a playful grin. He loved their sons but at the same time even he couldn't deny how much of handful they could be. His playful nature was short lived whenever Rhonann darted to the side and Kian found himself quickly following after her. "Rho? Are you alright?" His gaze narrowed in concern as he hovered nearby in case she needed him.

Once the contents of her stomach were spread out on the ground, Rho wobbled and reached back to grab Kian's leg for support. Of all the things this could be, she was the most suspicious of their long "celebration" that they'd enjoyed a few weeks ago. It was earlier symptoms than her last round, but she had learned it wasn't unusual either. "I'm okay, I'm okay," she murmured, wiping at her lips with a sigh. She hadn't missed that at all. "I think... it might be good ta meet up at the clinic before gettin' on home." She glanced up at Kian and smirked. "I wanna.. check on things. You mighta made us need ta hold off on that trip. 'r at least shorten it."

Kian's gaze widened at the suggestion. "Of course I would cause trouble." He teased playfully as he processed the idea of what could be making them delay any trips. It hadn't been solely him though, right? The hybrid knew better than to argue though so he just shook his head before reaching a hand out to rub Rhonann's back lightly. "I think a clinic would be a good idea. Do you need some time to relax before we start moving or do you think you're okay to travel to Zena before we find a healer?" Kian frowned thoughtfully. He should have brought some mounts in case they needed instead of just opting to make their travels home as leisurely as possible. Then again how was he to expect that they would be well...expecting so soon?

"Of course," she snickered, pushing herself upright. She paused for a moment to make sure she was done before sighing and shaking her head. "I'll be good. Might just need ta pop off the trail once in a while." Her hands snuck over to rest over her lower belly, her fingers tingling with anticipation and actual nerves. She certainly hadn't expected it to happen so quickly after opening up to the idea.. but she wasn't about to get upset either. "If it's really another one..." she bit her lip and nodded. She felt certain of it! Once again, life was growing inside of her... "or two.." she peeked up again, her lips pressing slightly. "I still wanna get the boys out here. Extra kids ain't gonna make me hold those two back more'n I've already done."

"Sounds like a plan. If anything we can catch some merchants or something so that we can hitch a ride if you're feeling too unwell later." Or he could rent a room for as long as they needed. Kian nodded his head at the idea. It wouldn't be his first time veering away from the plan - that was if there ever was truly a set plan in his life. The hybrid pondered Rhonann's words before smiling. "We can manage that. After everything we've handled before I'm sure traveling with a toddler or two won't be too insane an idea." He would argue that they would need to wait a few months of course but that would give him time to figure out an easier way to travel with little ones. Perhaps a wagon? That could always work and spirits knew he could easily find some good mounts....

Rho nodded and started walking again. Now she was even more eager to get to Zena and the clinic to make certain. "Do you think it would be twins again?" she asked, peeking over her shoulder. Two more spunky little demons to chase around... Would they survive? Kian was right. After what they've been through, they could surely handle anything. A little smile rose playfully. "I hope you remember how to make the cribs."

"Anything is possible." Replied Kian with a chuckle. "Seems like it runs in our family fairly often enough." Talisia had twins and then they had their twin boys...who knew? The mystic gave a shrug of his shoulders before letting out a groan at her teasing. "Oh spirits. Maybe we can just hire the carpenter this time. I'll get a luxurious set of cribs and have them fastened into a wagon or something if we travel..."

Rho nodded again. It certainly seemed likely enough that there would be two again. What if it was two boys again? She was going to be surrounded by testosterone! But what if it was two girls?! She would need to call on Mnyiri's experience for that case... Maybe it would be one of each? "Gotta be good 'n sturdy fer travelin'." That was going to be yet another learning curve in itself, to be on the road with babies. "They made themselves known sooner 'n their brothers did," she mused, settling herself on the idea of twins again. "Can't tell if that means they'll be more trouble 'r are bein' nice ta give us more warnin'."

"Then all the more reason for you to allow me to commission an expert for it." Teased Kian with a chuckle. Even if he was talented with magic and a quick learner there was just something tedious about crafting that made him frustrated. Admittedly though he had enjoyed the experience and spending time with Rhonann building those cribs for something so important. The thought made his lips twitch upwards into a smile despite his previous frustrations at the thought of building more cribs. Truly it wouldn't be that bad if they did opt to make their own once more.
Kian nodded at the assessment. "Maybe they also just knew that we're more prepared this time." Spirits knew last time had been a major surprise and one that he almost had missed out on! If Kian hadn't run into Rhonann like he had....the thought made his stomach twist with worry. This time he would be there for her from the very beginning. "Still, I wouldn't be surprised if they were more trouble since that also seems to run in the family. Surely it's from the mother though." He joked lightly with a wink towards Rhonnan. "I do wonder if we'll have a girl this time....but at the same time I may be more afraid of a girl than more boys."

"No doubt. I'll be good lettin' the craftsmen handle this round." She could still remember Kian grumbling over the pile of wood that he had gotten for creating those first beds. While seeing him torture himself again would be fun, perhaps they would take this round to better prepare in the other aspects of their life.
More prepared? "I don't think I coulda been any less prepared fer them!" she announced with a sharp laugh. It had truly been a chaotic time when she had found out about her first pregnancy. Further along, alone and trying to choose between battling the enemy or backing off to find Kian. Thankfully, he had found her first. Brow cocking at the mention of the trouble, she snorted and shrugged her shoulders unapologetically. "I can't help it if our kids decide ta take after me." Afraid? She looked back again and grinned sharply. "As ye should be. A girl'll have ye wrapped 'round her pinky before she's even talkin', I bet."

"Thank the spirits." Quipped Kian with an exaggerated sigh of relief. "In all seriousness if you did want to travel early I do have an idea about a wagon...I have seen some merchant ones that feel very cozy on the inside if you'd like." It would be a bit away from his usual style but what could he do as a father? The thought still baffled him but at the same time he found himself growing fonder of the idea as the years passed.
Kian chuckled. "Yes, yes. I'm just praying none of them decide to pick up archery like you did." The last thing he needed was two people with bolts chasing him! He shook her head at her statement and grinned. "Wrapped forcefully probably if she's like you. I wonder how many concussions I'll have then..."
