Mai Pokeymanz - Lali essentially grew up in the midst of the pokemon marketing blitz. She owns every game created, the systems required to play them and takes exacting care of each item. Oh, and if you ever get a chance to visit her apartment, please don't be alarmed. She also collects Pokémon plushes, figures, stationary and DVDs. She has every season of the anime series in English AND Japanese, all the movies and who knows how many fan retrospectives. Don't worry though. It's not like she's anything like that Hello Kitty! chick. She hasn't stooped to buying Pokémon microwaves and toasters. Yet.
Music is the Language of the Soul - Whether or not she'll admit it, Lali is a born musician. While she can't play every instrument she touches, she can sing. Flawlessly. She spends her nights out at any and every open mic night she can make it to, not to mention auditions. She's even managed to finagle her way into one or two paying gigs at a couple clubs. Nothing huge, but it's a start. And when she's not singing on stage, she's singing to herself in the shower, in the car, walking through the mall... well. You get the idea.
Where Does She Get Those Wonderful Toys? - Force Lali to sit alone, without any other form on entertainment or stimulus and she will, without hesitation, whip out the tiny toolkit that she carries around everywhere and built you a miniature, fully functional trebuchet out of string, paperclips and rubber bands. She loves building stuff out of things that no one else would ever consider. She isn't quite Batman level of inventiveness yet, but give her a year or two. And in the meantime, you don't mind it if she borrows your old junk, right? Leather canons don't build themselves after all!
Virtues:
Inventive - If thinking outside of the proverbial box was an Olympic sport, Lali would have several gold medals hanging on her wall by now. She is a firm believer that there is no such thing as an Either Or situation. There is always a way to accomplish your goals that no one's thought of yet. Granted, some might call this approach cheating. Lali simply thinks of it as not letting arbitrary distinctions stop her.
Fearless - Lali is going to be a star someday! And as such, she has no fear when it comes to stunts or simply living her best life. She will go out in public wearing a clown nose and rainboots along with a string bikini. Nor will she pause to consider getting in your face if you treat someone like a**. In Lali's world, there's no reason to be afraid of doing what you like in a social setting. You only live once, after all. Why waste time kow-towing to social mores when there's so much fun to be had?
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life - Lali is totally that guy. Or gal as the case may be. You know, the one who could be having the worst possible day ever and yet will still warble cheerfully about the benefit of keeping one's chin up. If you ever need a pick me up, she will happily oblige. For Lali, life is a happy song. Sadness just gets in her way.
Flaws:
Pushy - Never, ever let Lali know that you're considering doing anything. Or that you have interest in anything. She will only use this knowledge to hound the ever-loving hell out of you until you do the thing. While little nudges might be helpful on occasion, Lali tends, as with all things, to go overboard into full blown pushy mode. She will remind, prod at, nudge and generally bring the conversation around to, "So hey. Done that thing yet?" And may the gods of your forefathers take pity upon you if there's a thing that she thinks you should do that you are not as sure of. Then, you can expect reminders and hints on an almost constant 24/7 basis until you finally cave in and either do the thing or tell her right the ******** off.
Troll - Spend as much time in the digital world as Lali does and you're bound to pick up some bad habits. In Lali's case, she enjoys trolling, both on and offline. She considers it something of an art form and will gleefully and maliciously troll the ever loving s**t out of anyone who strikes her fancy. When it comes to the lulz, Lali doesn't differentiate between friend or foe. She simply goes for the weakest (in her eyes) target with the intent to provoke the funniest possible reaction. Sometimes her trolling isn't so bad. Other times... well.
No Common Sense - For as smart as she comes off, Lali has absolutely no common sense. She will wander off alone at night and not tell anyone where she's going, she frequently burns her hands trying to grab hot pans or pots without the proper protection. She simply doesn't think like other, rational people. Most things that anyone else would do simply because it's the smart thing to do, Lali frequently ignores or is oblivious to. Though she's at least learned by now to not enrage the big, scary biker dude.
