Isiah had spent much of his day inside. He'd woken up, done a few things around the house that took him at most only a hour, than plopped himself down on the couch to play a bit of a new game. Keyword being a bit. That had turned into half the day. Which wasn't unusually for him. He often did long gaming sessions. He didn't like something that he needed to only touch for a hour or two a day and that was it. He liked to be immersed. He just hadn't expected to be that immersed today. What he thought would be a mediocre story turned into something that sucked up all his attention until he looked at the clock and it was past 12pm!

Okay, that wasn't half his day spent inside, but he had made plans with himself to work on college assignments. He had a big piece he hadn't even started on yet for lack of ideas and he really needed to crack down on himself to get it done. So he'd forced himself to turn it off and went outside instead, away from the distractions of that amazing story he really hoped wouldn't end in a dumb way. A bad ending could really spoil the whole thing for you.

Once outside, art bag slung over one shoulder, he'd made for the nearest park where he brushed off a bench of snow and sat down, taking out his tablet. All around him were people enjoying the sunny weather, be it parents with their children. Children having a snowball fight off in the distance. Or that sweet elderly couple on a bench across and down the path from him, sharing a bag of what looked from this distance like berries.

Crossing one of his legs over the other and leaning the tablet against his knee, Isiah dragged the stylist over the surface, sneaking glances at the couple as he worked.
