Out there, where the world dips into a realm of dreams, fantasy, and magic, is nesyled the realm of Envision. Although no human has ever escaped, they live immortal with the beasts of Envision, especially... The Hounds.

Story

The realm of Envision is a magic land, hidden, perhaps, from our world by the Shadowed Viel, and here it is that dreams and wishes and hopes come to life, born from the human spirit. But sometimes... Through history... Man falls, entering Envision and becoming trapped in the realm by magic. For years, in a time forgotten by history, man roamed Envision, lost, finding myths come to lifge and magic so vibrant it terrified. And though these souls learned, they were still alone.

And so, when man found the Andelusia plain, he expected naught. What man found was at last a companion, loyal, dependable... Mostly. He found the Cu-Sith, the fae dogs. These Cu-Sith seemed divided, but all loyal - from the Cu, the faithful hounds remniscent of legends, to the Grimms, dhaunting portents of the dark, to the berghasts willing to protect villages, man made friends and companions of these Cu-Sith. And slowly, more came, drawn by the peace of the plain, for play, to serve as Keepers, to protect, or to terrorize. Slowly those humans living on the Andelusia Plain and their Cu-Sith allies formed an importanty bond, a bond as ancient as man's companionship with mortal dogs of Earth, and together, they now look to the future.

Breeds of Cu-Sith

While all canines fall under the name 'Cu-Sith', there are a variety of canine or canine-like ci-sith in the area, and more occassionally join them. RThe following is a helpful guide for identifying Cu-Sith!

Common

These cui-sith are, remarkably, very closely related and share a main bodyshape and snout, however the sub names oft reverence a myth or connection to an Earth myth. OOCly, these are the main-canine varieties!

Cu: Cu are loyal, fluffy dogs whom love to be by their family's side. Surprisingly powerful and capable, Cu often bond to a family and protect homes and estates. Unless their humans are near, cu tend to get a bit defensive of their homes. Cu thrive in packs and generally have good temperaments, although exceptions always exist.

Berghast: The berghast is similar to their cu brothers and sisyters, except they do not often seek a family or human for companionship. Berghasts instead establish vast tewrritories, selecting 1-2 villages to protect, or roards and the like, and are interested in human social structures. Berghasts can form packs, if rarely, and often rarely see others of their own kind. Berghasts do not judge humans immediately when they meet one, nor get defensive as quickly, instead offering a safe trip and seeking only affection from travellers, however, if a wicked person harms their territoryu... Watch out.

Grimms: Grimms are often seen as bringers of misery, fear, and sorrow. Most resembling domestic dogs, Grimms styruggle with warning humans of peril, as they are feared, but for those whom befriend the grimm, they find a friend as loyal, if not more, than a cu. Grimms are empathic and sensitive to emotions around them, and will invariably howl when overcome by emotions like grief and sorrow. Grimms whom bond to humans will usually die if their human chooses to move into a new incarnation, following their friends through their luifetimes, so as to not be alone again.

Special

Although the cu-sith are ALL supernatural sdparkledogs, some Cu-Sith are, in fact, highly in tune with magic and the world around them, resulting in special, magical abilities. These Cu-Sith range across the gambiut in appearance, branching from plain domestic doggies into wild types.

Papillion: Named for the Earth breed, Envision's Papillions lack a phaleme variant and instead are, to the naked eye and untrained observer, lityeral butterfly dogs, accounting for their luxurious butterfly wings. Although they look tiny, cute, and cuddly, Papillions are fae even to the Cu-=SAith and do not think as men or other Cu-Sith do. They will gladly drown someone to draw them into their ranks, make uneven or literal deals, and always love glitter and sparkle. Being fairies at heart, Papillions can become incredibly tiny or extremely large, and packs often take to the skies to hunt in Envision's foirm of the Wild Hunt. Those whom do befriend a Papillion will find thjemselves adopted by these fae, and thus become subject to all forms of chaos.

Starwalkers: Starwalkers are born of the stars, the galaxies and nebulae and planets in bnodies much like foxes and then descend upon Envision. True aliens, the Starwalkers came to the Andelusia Plains to rebuild their hobbled numbers. Starwalkers are tricksters, but far from malicious, as they know when to trick and when not to, and are remarkably empathic, like Grimms. Starwalkers have a magic command of stardust and can create temporary stars and a feeling of being in space, breathing and comfortable, with no suit, and can, oddly, help friends breathe in water or other oxygen-low placers. Starwalkers are generally neutral, and believe the oldest are related to the myth of kitsune -- however it is unknown if this is true.

Dream Guardians: bodily resembling coyotes, Dream Guardians often look like people's hope and dreams and fantasies... Meaning there's a lot whom resemble people, myths, legends, and yes... Coisplays. Dream Guardians are the only Cu-Sith whom can dreamwalk, visiting people in their dreams and chasing out the night terrors. In the ewaking world they have feeble magics -- think Fire 1, Ice 1, Cure, or Thunder 1, but otherwise seem non-magic to the waking. This is false, however, as in dreams these Cu-Sith as powerful mages.

Night Terrors:

Divinity

The divine Cu Sith are representatives of higher beings or the most wicked beings, and are extremely rare. There are usually 2 of each domain and they are NEVER bonded to the same person (EG: pick an alignment and gender for your domain, and others can pick the remainders), and recognize more than most. This means there's THREE of each domain per breed - Male, Female, and 'Other'.

Keepers: Resembling the gods in tasks and work, the Keepers are larger than men, and appear as dire wolves. As they are not true gods, the domain is seen as a mantle for that gender. Rarely, a Cu-Sith of the other breeds Ascend to these winged heights, or, should they descend, they resume their original breed. Keepers are positive, good sides of domains, loyal to the gods and protectors of all. While some mayu be a bit wicked due to their god, it is rare.

Hell Hounds: Wicked and malicious, hell hounds are the anti-Keeper. Whiule they too have 3 genders per domain to reflect the Keepers, Hell Hounds themselves do not serve the gods, instead serving themselves. Though some avoid humans and many Cu-Sith, some favor humans over the Gods. While many say the whoole group is pure evil, like Keepers, some may be very kind and well and truly aligned to good. The main distinction is appearance, and a lack of loyasslty to the gods, seeking to live life by their own choices, even if they're not the cuddliest.

Cu-Sith Life Stages

Cu Sith are very simple growing. Beginning as pouppies and often featureless, barring Specialty or Divine hybridization, they are frail and weak, needing lots of care. Cu-Sith litters range from 2-4, and Cu-Sith can interbreed for hybridization and in these cases, the end result is often a surprise.

Cu-Sith grow into adults in the end, resulting in two guarentueed stages with ample breeding options. Adults must wait 2 weeks before they may try for puppies to allow other adults to recognize them as adults.

All types may breed with one another, however the two divinity caNnot breed to one another, and genders of a domain are considered related.

Keeper and Hell Hound Breeding

While Keepers and Hellh Hounds match breeding phases with the other classificatyions, should a Keeper and Keeper breed, it will always lead to new domains, as will Hell Hound on Hell Hound breedings. HOWEVER.

1. Keepers cannot mate with Hell Hounds

2. Keepers and Hell Hounds of the same domain are considered related, even if bred into being.
(This is to prevent genetic problems)

When either breed has puppies, they have between 2-4, HOWEVER....

Extra Pappies?!

A mated pair can earn 1 extra puppy if there's ONE RP linked with the two Cu-Sith. They don't need to be lifemated, this is just to encourage RP.

You can also earn a pappy by being active in the shop! This means thread AND Discord, not one or the other -- activity is basically talking, plotting, and being social, as in-thread or Discord games are considered shop antics.
