CHILDHOOD Taylor is the oldest child of Michael Davenport and Rosslyn Stone. Conceived shortly after they met, his father soon married his mother and they have been together since. Because of his father's siblings all being magical or knowledgeable about the magical world, Taylor has known about the magical side of his family all his life, although Michael had to stress that Taylor not mention it to his mother. Despite this, they all had a pretty normal life, and Michael and Rosslyn raised Taylor and Carter, Taylor's younger brother, in a loving home.
However, around the time that Taylor turned six, strange events started happening around him. Michael tried to brush it off to his wife that it was just coincidences, but the more the events continued, the more Michael was forced to admit that his son was magical. As a result, he made the decision to bring in Taylor's uncle, Jer, to explain what magic was and what was going on. As a result, Taylor's parents' marriage became strained, and when it came time when Taylor's Hogwarts letter arrived (via Jer, who didn't have a problem with using magic now around Taylor's mum), Michael and Rosslyn separated. As a result, Taylor is happy to be leaving for a new school.
