Odina's greatest fear was doing something to gain the ire of her mothers. The youngling could be a bit of a brat with her sisters but never her mothers and so it was with great terror that she found herself picking up pieces of a broken vase. Tears gleamed in her eyes as she scurried about the larger living space of their home nestled on the outskirts of Chiume, the open windows allowing the sea breeze from the beach below to cool their home while also providing plenty of light in the main room that they usually sat in during the evenings. Pillows and elegant tables with trinkets from across the world were placed around the room. It was one of those trinkets which had gotten Odina in trouble since she had opted to use the big space while everyone else was out and about for the day. Training with one of her sister's old wooden sticks, however, was not the best idea especially when a sudden breeze had surprised her into knocking one of the light teal vases to the wooden floor, the pieces shattering without hesitation as the vase met the floor. Usually she would have pushed everything to the side or actually ventured out into the forest to play around but today she had opted to just do a half hearted job so that she could enjoy as much freedom as possible while everyone else was out for the day. Needless to say the youngling quickly regretted her decision to not take every precaution possible before starting her training stances. This was definitely a mark on why her mothers should not let her have a weapon just yet and that was something which Odina had desperately been working towards despite her young age.

Seriously how would she explain this mess and not get into serious trouble?

Oh no...no...no... Odina bit her bottom lip as she scurried about and tried her best to try and clean everything up as quickly as possible. Could she just pick up the pieces and try to glue them back together with sap like she had seen some of the crafters do or something? The youngling’s bottom lip trembled as she tried to piece together the jagged edges. Even the paint was flaking away from the broken shards and as another pale blue strip peeled onto the dark wooden floor she felt her heart drop. Well it looked like rearranging the vase wasn’t going to be her best option today. Odina sighed before looking around and finally spotting an empty woven basket nestled in the corner by the stairs. Maybe she could just place everything in there for now? Odina imagined trying to hide the pieces away or even burying them outside somewhere in the forest. Could it be possible that if the vase was out of sight it would stay out of mind and no one would think twice about it? As she continued sweeping around the floor with the broom, the woven strands quickly picking up whatever pieces remained on the ground, Odina made certain to not get too close to any other of the delicate pieces decorating the main room. She was definitely not going to risk any more damages today! The Vandrea let out a sigh as she surveyed the cleaning work that she had done. So far it seemed good, right? Another sigh left her lips as she turned back towards the now full basket. She was always so afraid of disappointing her family and now the fear was rising once more. Would they be upset? Should she lie and try to act innocent about it? The very thought was tempting and it would be one way to handle her fear by avoiding the situation entirely but Odina didn’t feel right about it. Other younglings could possibly find it easier to lie about such matters but Odina had always been more of the brutally honest type. It was probably why she always rubbed others her age the wrong way since she didn’t really have a filter after all. “Focus!” Odina shook her head to try and clear her thoughts before glancing back at the vase. This one may have come from Belrea….maybe the blacksmith here could relate to the work and find a solution? Or Briallen could maybe help her when she came back from wherever she went this time? Odina nodded as she set the basket back down and started to rearrange the living area back to how it was before her training session. Perhaps the best way to deal with her fear was to just face it like any other challenge and hope that her mothers would understand. She had to grow from her mistakes and not hide from them after all.
