Kepler had powered up rather early today. It was just sunset now and she was already prowling around Destiny City, trying to keep an eye out for youma or Chaos aligned energies. She wasn't a fight on sight senshi, so what Kepler liked to do was try to persuade the enemy to purify, to join their fight.
It hadn't worked out so far, if she was totally honest with herself. Still, fists didn't always solve everything.
She was hoping tonight would be like that. Right now she was sitting atop of the museum, being careful of the glass on the roof that brought light in. This was her favorite hang out, honestly. Not much activity, but she got to see excited faces of kids entering and leaving when she was on patrol in broad daylight.
The super senshi sat upon the ledge then, glad the magic protected her from the cold, winter elements that came with living here. She could feel a very faint aura coming this way. Chaos. Not a high level either. Pearly white teeth bit her lip as she stayed where she was. Not all Nega attacked first, either. Maybe she'd luck out tonight.

There was something nice about being on a rooftop at sunset, watching the sky light up in colors that glittered across the distant shape of the museum and its glass roof. Marialite could feel the tingle of an Order aura in her senses, and she paused, for a moment--hopefully it wasn't that damn porcupine Senshi, the one she'd run into far too many times lately.
But this aura felt stronger than his, so unless he'd gotten lucky in the time since they'd last seen each other, it probably wasn't him. Besides, fi things went too bad, she could always call for backup.
So she moved closer, hopping from rooftop to rooftop until she came tot he museum and wandered over next to the Senshi--not him, someone different, a cute girl.
"Pretty sunset, huh?" She asked, and she lowered herself down to sit.

Kepler's lilac eyes turned to look at the agent who made herself comfortable. At least it wasn't an attack in the back. Still, she hadn't relaxed at all. She was tense, ready for a fight. Ready to jump if needed to run. There was a small exhale though. "Yeah. There's mostly pretty sunsets here." She wasn't lying. "So... I hope we don't have to fight. I might be on duty, but it's much too early to start all that, don't you think?"

Marialite shrugged her shoulders, idly.
"I'd rather not fight too, if it's all good with you." She stared out at the sunset, taking in the dying rays of light, and made a little thoughtful noise. "I mean, what even says we have to? I used to be like you, after all. Well, not entirely, I was a Page, not a Senshi, but...you know what I mean, probably. Maybe. I was on your side. So we can act like I still am for a little bit, and enjoy a nice sunset, and go our separate ways, yeah? Both our faces unpunched."

Kepler's heart broke a little bit when the agent said she used to be a page. That hurt. She looked off to her boots, examining the black toes and the white lace details. Her bangs hid her face. "I'm sorry to hear you corrupted," she said sympathetically. "I won't fight you. You've done nothing so far, in my line of sight." How Kepler wished Yumi was here, so she could pet her. Sometimes it was an anxiety thing, sometimes comfort. It'd be a bit of both right now, though she doesn't know how the Mauvian would react to hearing about a corruption of a page. "I hope it stays clear, the night. It'd be nice to see some stars."

Marialite blinked. "Sorry? Why? I chose this, and my life's a lot better now than it was before." Blunt and simple, because for her, it was. Eleusis had been miserable and depressed, cut off from everyone she cared about, and retreating into herself as she felt more and more crushed under the weight of her own failings.
Marialite was happy, and that made all the difference in the world.
"Is it a star? Kepler, the space body you're named after."

Better. That rang so wrong within her. The life of chaos being better? She had her doubts. Sure, life was a little lonely, but it wasn't miserable. Friends were there, hobbies, life went on. "Well. I'm sorry I didn't find you before. To change your mind about this. Turning to the enemy. I'm trying to find all the newer recruits to my side... senshi or not. Get them.. some direction and protection. So I feel like I failed you somehow though I don't think we'd met." Then the subject of Kepler got brought up and she waggled her hand. "It's an exoplanet. Or... an extra-solar planet. Uhm..." She thought a moment of how to explain it, or maybe just paused to see if it even needed explaining.

"Ooh, an exoplanet, neat!" Marialite said. "I never actually made it out to my Wonder, but I get the impression Cosmos wonders are like...places in space? Floating islands and things like that? At least, from what Galaxite--my boyfriend--has told me. He used to be a Cosmos Knight too, and his Wonder was a fancy lake."
She smiled, though, and shrugged. "Like you said, we never met. And I did have a few people I knew? But I was so depressed, and everything was going wrong....I needed a change. A whole change. And I got one! So now I'm Marialite. And it's better."

Ah, so even in that aspect she had Kepler beat out. "How nice to have a boyfriend. I've never had one." Or a girlfriend for that matter. Kepler was innocent in that way. She had crushes and shared a kiss, but nothing more and no relationship. "I'll agree to disagree, but... At least you have your happiness. I hope we never have to meet in battle." There was no getting around how gray this war was. People had their reasons for corrupting or purifying. It still put a pit in her stomach. "I've never been anywhere but the moon, if I'm honest. Never been to Kepler, never visited anyone."

Marialite crossed one leg over the other, delicately, and nodded.
"It's really nice, yeah. Galaxite and Caledonite are really good to me. They helped me corrupt, and took care of me after, and they're just....so sweet. Cale's a grump, but that's okay, he's got me and Gala to balance him out." She smile,d warmly, and leaned her cheek on a hand. "But hey--genuinely? And it probably sounds like a dumb empty platitude coming from me, with my fancy relationship? But if you look, you'll probably find someone eventually. And even if you don't, happiness does not require a hot boy." Happiness was certainly increased, for Marialite, by her two hot boys, but that was a personal thing.
"Anyway, as for all the space magic? Go when you're ready. It'll probably be all empty and boring, though, I guess most wonders and planets are now? Which makes sense." She stood up, stretching. "Hopefully we won't ever have to fight. You're cool, Kepler, I like you a lot."

Somehow her good mood was less good now. Not ruined, but not as lively as she was before. Kepler watched the other get up, nodding a little. Doubts had long since crept into her head about relationships and her. Of course she hadn't made her peace with it. Kepler wanted a partner, someone to come home to. No offense to Yumi, but it just wasn't the same. "You haven't been so bad, yourself." No threats, no harsh words exchanged. Just a brief meeting of opposite sides. They didn't see things the same way, but there'd been no heat. "Take care, okay? ...I know there are some out there that... won't be so nice." The senshi made no move to stand. She distracted herself by dusting her skirt off. "Nice hair, by the way. Mine's about as long when it's down."

Marialite nodded, giving a jaunty little wave. "I'll keep an eye out, I promise!" She said, adn then she bounced to the edge and leapt, gracefully, off the roof. It put her in a side area, which she could easily sneak out of, and meant that there would be no trouble form prying eyes as the sun dipped under the horizon.
A productive chat, she thought, and a nice way to start her night.
