Hobbies:
Languages - Where others may have a love of art, music or video games, Gemma finds her interests lie in the intricacies of language and word-play. As such, she spends a considerable amount of her time studying other languages. Her aim is to become fluent in several, and she regularly researches methods to improve her skills as well as exploring different platforms to learn from. Her current 'quests' in this field are fairly standard as she is in pursuit of the 'romantic' languages such as French, Spanish and Italian... but in time she would like to branch further beyond this to explore the more complex ones.
Comedy Nights - Gemma is not a stand-up comic and she doesn't aspire to be, but if there's one thing she does enjoy it's finding hidden gems in the smaller and more intimate venues while new artists hone their crafts. Comedy is one of her favourite forms of entertainment and with the added benefit of the more comfortable venues, it's a fantastic place to relax and meet new people. Granted, some of the budding hopefuls may be a bit of a miss, but that doesn't mean she'll dismiss the attempt!
Roller-Blading - Some would argue that this isn't a sport, but it makes her legs look fabulous and it's something she enjoys. Yes, even in her thirties, this woman still likes to flip and spin like she did as a teen and it helps her get from place to place relatively quickly in the inner city where she lives.
Virtues:
Pragmatic - While rules are lovely to have there are often times when they hinder rather than help. When those cases arise, regardless of the situation, if there any rules or regulations in place that stand between her and success then she'll simply circumvent them. If you have a practical solution to a challenge she'll listen and even if it goes against the grain, if it's likely to work, then she'll back it up. Sometimes the 'in theory' takes to long and going with someone's gut and life experience pays off. This way of thinking has yet to lead her astray and she's satisfied with the results so far.
Patient - Good things come to those who wait, and while she would often prefer that things happen at her pace she's now old enough to know that this isn't how the world works. It should come as no surprise that Gemma is therefore more than happy to sit, watch and wait quietly until such times as it is beneficial for her to act. Whether this is is for a sale for a particular good tv or waiting for that one slip up she needs to catch someone out, she has time, and she'll wait. She'll be ready when you are.
Flaws:
Unapologetic - More often than not Gemma is firm in her convictions and while actions have consequences, she would sooner weather those than concede. If feelings are hurt in the pursuit of a goal then that's simply the way of it. Whomever was hurt will learn from it, grow as a result, and grow a thicker skin. While apologies are not outside the realms of possibility for her, they certainly don't seem to come to the forefront of her mind when someone expresses hurt, upset or offence at anything she might have done or said. She has greater priorities than the delicate feelings of others and they will eventually recognise what she has 'done for them'.
Self-Centered - While Gemma does exhibit a capacity to 'treat' others and does have the ability to express warmth and consideration, such moments are rare. Gemma is more well known for acting in her own interests. If she's asked to consider something, or do something, the benefits to her are almost always factored in to her decision. Almost everything she does should be advantageous to her, and if it isn't, then you best have a damn good reason for it. She takes pride in all that she is, all that she has achieved and all that she can do. She considers herself to be rather lofty, though her introspective moments do prevent her from falling into the narcissistic territory.

Physical Description
Eyes: Almond Shape, Dark Blue
Hair: Long, light-brown hair. Normally swept up into two braided buns at the side with the rest tied back loosely and slung over one shoulder. It rarely has accessories in it unless she's preparing for an event.
Face: Heart shaped face with and otherwise smooth complexion. Lacking in freckles or features of note she would be considered to be a standard or 'generic' definition of pretty.
Skin Tone: Pale with a very slight sun-kissed tan during the summer months.
Body Type: Reasonably tall at around 5'10". She has a figure that sits in between 'straight' and 'hourglass' with the slightest hint of hips and a bust.
Clothes: Often spotted in a suit during working hours due to her current role. While off duty she's more likely to be in something casual, comfortable, but not sloppy. Think of Khakis with some cute boots and a fitted top. She's not interested in exciting colours or patterns, but she's not afraid of them if she can find a tasteful way to wear them.

Weaponry
Gemma is stealth orientated, favouring her small hand-sized weapons to deliver maximum damage while causing minimal noise and attention.
Lieutenant Weapon
Captain Weapon
The silver coin increases in size, fitting the palm of her hand. The ridges on the edge have deepened to provide a sharper, saw-like blade. At this stage the coin will feel warm to the touch, but will not do anything to an individual when struck.
This weapon is not designed for close combat, and is generally meant to be thrown towards someone.
General Weapon
The silver coin has grown to the size of her hand and when the center is pressed, razer sharp blades sweep out from within to form a Shuriken Star.
It begins to emit heat at this stage and will feel emit a searing heat when it comes into contact with its target. This may burn for minor damage if the user decides they would like for his to happen, but the overall 'effect' of this magic is limited to sensation only as a general rule of thumb.
This weapon is, much like the Captain weapon, designed to be thrown at an opponent... But she can use it to shank someone at close range if she needs to. RP Requirements Captain Requirements:
