Some people say that: I suppose they say myriad things about me. If you knew what many different people thought about me, what point of view would that be? Or how about only a few other people? However, because I myself am narrating this information, what point of view would I need? Sorry for the pedantic introduction. I have been an English professor for so long it just comes natural by now. I have found that many people are intimidated when they first meet me, likely perturbed by my muscular physique, tattoos, and quiet nature. According to some students who have been in a class of mine for awhile, I am warm and kind, open-minded and supportive, understanding yet strict. I believe my old ears have not deceived me and in fact I have heard a student or two throw around terms like "teddy bear" and "cinnamon roll" when describing me. I can't say I know how to feel about this. As for what my kids think of me, well, it is all over the spectrum from what I can tell. However, I have heard from all of them that they think I am a good father, and for me that is all that matters.
I stand at an impressive: 195 cm (6ft 5in)
Well my story is: My story? I'm afraid it isn't the most riveting of stories, and parts of it are a touch sad.

I have an affinity for: Air

My trusty Golem: Ferhþ

Golem affinity: Sound
Golem battle type: Support
I carry: no weapons. Tai chi is a martial art you know. That said, I am proficient with swords, especially epées.
In battle I'm dressed in: no particular armor. It never seemed particularly useful in a day to day situation. However, I will have a white feather somewhere about my person. It is purely an allusion and metaphor, thus it has no practical purpose.
During battle I often say: "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori."
Or I might say(Quote): "Let me die so—
Under some rosy-golden sunset, saying
A good thing, for a good cause! By the sword,
The point of honor—by the hand of one
Worthy to be my foeman, let me fall—
Steel in my heart, and laughter on my lips!”*
