The following RP contains graphic descriptions of blood and violence - as well as the death of an NPC - please Read with caution.

The last thing Parisite had seen before giving the case to Blivitiite was his Boyfriends, possibly dying. He’d given Stepling what he could and had to trust and pray that he might have saved him. He wasn’t sure he could believe it, but he had to make sure that this would never happen again.

He had to make sure that Michael, Blivitite, would never hurt them again.

The challenge had been to meet the b*****d where Yu had first been recruited - that fateful night when Cavansite had accosted him for his take away. They must have had a witness, not noted either because he’d been a civilian at the time, or because he was on ‘their side’….

When he first got there, he didn’t see the b*****d, didn’t feel him either, and resorted to climbing onto one of the flat shop roofs to try and get a better view of things, looking down on the small alley where he’d been brought into this mess.

He felt Blivite power back up behind him and only just missed the slash of the sword that cut down towards him. It was close enough that it removed one of the pointed shoulders from his uniform. Had the cut of his uniform shirt not been so loose, he thought he’d have been cut down his arm as well.

He had his knives out a moment later, trying to close the gap between him and the other Captain. His weapons were far shorter, and it put him at a serious disadvantage.
He knew knife fighting, not sword fights, and Blivitite looked far too confident. He danced back with a laugh, flicking away the cloth that he’d caught on the tip of his sword.

“You should have just waited for me to come back and burn the house down, maybe you could have gotten a jump on me instead. I’ve trained for ages with a sword, proper training, do you know these blades are intended to cut bone? Maybe I’ll leave you flopping on the ground like a worm as you bleed out.”

“You -talk- too much.” Snarled Parisite. He thought maybe he had another teleportation in him without being too exhausted to fight. He’d have to save it, he wasn’t sure how strong Blivitite was in that regard.

“Do I? I could talk about how -good- it felt to cut Sterling’s pretty neck. That resistance, and then when it gives way. They look -so- slender….” He cooed
Yu had both his knives out now, grateful that his arms were wrapped in leather and at least minimally guarded by metal rings. The hooks on his blade helped him catch and redirect the sword, though he lacked the momentum and followthrough of the long curved blade that his opponent wielded.

The fact he had two blades, gave him some hope though, especially when he scored his first slash, shallow though it was across Bliv’s chest, a snarl working through his teeth as he listened to the b*****d monolog about what he’d done.

“Do you think Priam will have a mark on his bones from me now? Not one so impersonal as that -car- he landed on - AHHH!” His sound of surprise was gratifying, as was the deep flash of red along the edge of his blade.

Unfortunately, making Michael mad, making Blivitite mad was always something that had consequences.
One moment Bliv was there, the next moment he was at a totally different angle and a moment later he felt a line of fire that curved along with his rips and across his chest.

He spun with it, feeling it glance against bone, he risked crouching low and stabbing his own dagger deep into the meat of Blivitite’s leg causing him to stumble and scream.
He grabbed the blade with both hands then, dragging down as hard as he could trying to cripple him.

He felt the blade jam into his shoulder, it wasn’t meant for the stabbing was the only grace to it, but it cut all the same. He used his good arm to yank his knife free and stab it a second time, it wasn’t as good of a strike… but it wasn’t for lack of trying honestly.

It was because he -felt- the crawl of power over his skin, too strong for most people he knew…

Then he saw that flash of golden orange. <********.

Things just got interesting.

There were two auras nearby, and Gelria smirked to himself. It was great. A two-for-one sale. Two maggots would be crushed under his heel tonight, and he was going to welcome it.

His fingers were itching to be placed around a throat. Itching to just...rip out the roots of chaos.

As the Senshi moved closer, his eyes narrowed and he watched the two dark clad figures going at each other...and it didn’t look like any kind of gentle spar either. Not when there was blood.

Oh. And one of the figures was his own little trash panda. Well. Perhaps this was the one that he was after. The one causing him grief. That was unacceptable. After all, Gelria was the only one qualified to make Parisite bleed. An angry scowl curled across the male’s features and he made his way closer, blood beginning to boil as he watched the fighting. “And. What the ******** do you think you’re doing? It’s rude to bring a sword to a knife fight.”

Gelria’s words were icy and he held his hand out towards the strange captain. “Cinnamon Challenge.”

He would save his trash panda. Save him and kill him later.

This was fine.

BlackSageTea
Gelria holds out his hand towards an opponent, a beam of light moves towards them and fills their mouth with a teaspoon full of cinnamon. The beam can be easily avoided, but so long as it hits the body in some place, the attack comes into effect. The cinnamon can not be spit out for 30 seconds. The cinnamon coats and dries the mouth and throat, resulting in coughing, gagging, and at times, vomiting, depending on the player. When the cinnamon can be spat out, it causes the same irritations that the previous two attacks can cause, as the enemy is expelling cinnamon. This attack can be used twice per battle, on different people only.

“What the…” Blivitite’s shock could hardly have been as great as the results of the attack, he was in no position to dodge the assault and took the brunt of it full on.

A mouthful of cinnamon, burning, spicy, and hydrophobic - which meant when he tried to swallow it wouldn’t move, when he breathed it just went up his nose, into his lungs. Choking and burning and coughing a great rusty cloud of suffering.

“Oh, I did NOT think I could be so glad to hear that ******** attack.”

Laughed Parisite, wincing as he took another chance to jam his knife home, twisting it in a gout of blood and a screaming half-muffled by cinnamon.
Blivitite’s outrage had him lashing out with his blade, trying to reach the Senshi who dared interrupt this battle, it was haphazard and roughly turned as he tried to knock back Parisite, who was still close enough to use his knives to an advantage.

As far as Parisite was concerned, he’d cross the bridge with Gelria as it came, either his messages made it out and he’d have allies soon, proper ones that didn’t want to play ‘kiss, murder, kill’ - or….

Or he wouldn’t.

No matter what, Blivitite wasn’t leaving this roof alive.

“Don’t suppose you read any of my reports man.” He said with a breathy laugh “Between me and Cinnamon Toast Crunch here… You’re ********.”

Let Blivitite know that was the core of this, he didn’t care anymore.

Sterling had been looking… vaguely better when he left. It might be alright, it had to be alright.

Damn he hurt…

Gelria watched the captain fall prey to his attack, and he gave a contented smirk, his eyes flickering to Parisite. “I told you, you belong to me. Only I can kill you. I’m going to assume this is the trash that you told me about, am I correct?” When the sword came towards him, Gelria moved a step backwards, and when the captain moved to strike at Parisite again, he sneered and kicked out, hard right at the male’s arm, giving a satisfied laugh when he heard two sharp cracking sounds.

Well. At the very least the sword wouldn’t be an issue any longer, or so he hoped.

“You have to realize, you can’t just go cutting people up when they belong to someone else. It’s not nice to take other people’s belongings. I’ve marked him. And he’s marked me, so I’m sorry but…”

Gelria gave a shrug, pursing his lips and sucking in a breath through them, trying to look like he gave even half a damn. “You’re just going to have to die.”

“I’d ask if you had any last words, ********… But You’re gonna die to keep you from spreading some words that are really damn important to me.”

He forced his arm up and repeated an action that he swore now, that he wasn’t going to repeat.

His hand sank through Blivite’s chest, that surreal space where he found that pulsing crystal and closed his fingers around it, the look of disbelief, was so…. satisfying.

At least at that moment, he thought he could appreciate what Gelria did…

Almost.

He hesitated and made an offer.

“On three?” He asked with a glance at the Senshi.

Gelria paused and the smile that once again spread over his face was almost as gentle as it was deranged. “Well. If you insist, little Trash Panda. I would be more than happy to help you stomp on this roach.” His hands were soft as they wrapped around the captain’s neck and he gave a soft, happy smile. “I’m pleased to have been able to help you end this. On three, yes? One...two,”

Jerking his hands, Gelria sighed happily and relaxed. One less piece of s**t to worry about. “Three. I do hope that you’re going to step on that,” He murmured, letting the body drop and nodding to the starseed.

“He doesn’t deserve the chance to ever come back, and if those are allowed to remain, he’ll come back again, one day. I don’t know when, but we should just finish him, don’t you think?”

He had moved over to Yu, looking up and down his body, nodding slowly, and after a moment, knelt down, undying one of the bows from the top of his boot and giving a quick tug, ripping the fabric from the leather before standing. “Let me tend your wounds.”

His hand slid free with nearly the same timing as he heard the snap, he thought he’d be so much more satisfied to see the nightmare end, but he felt…

A little sick, and detached. Maybe it was a good thing.

He nodded a jerky movement and dropped the thing to the ground, crushing it beneath his heel. He thought it reminded him of glass…

What Gelria did…next though, left him reeling. Well… that or the blood running down his ribs.

“Um…” He said hesitating.

“I’m…. okay.” He said cautiously. “I appreciate it. I Uh… I know a doctor. I… do appreciate the thought, I’m just uh… be a shame to wreck your uh….boot….ribbon?”

“I… realize you probably wouldn’t offer that if you were about to add to the pile but, I have to uh….” He swayed just a little. Tired and bleeding wasn’t the best combination. “I have to tell some, important people they are uh…. safe.”

He could feel his ears heat.

Gelria hadn’t noticed the wound in Parisite’s side, had only been there to see his shoulder wound, and that was what he moved to tie up, scoffing and rolling his eyes. “At this rate, you’ll bleed out before…” He trailed off, eyes flickering to the wound in his side. They narrowed slightly and he gave a heavy sigh. “At this rate you’re really going to bleed out before you get there.”

He seemed thoughtful and tugged at the sash around his waist, pressing it to Parisite’s wound on his side and then ripping off the second boot ribbon and tying it tightly around him, keeping the makeshift bandage in place. “You should get to a hospital. Would you like me to take you? Or at least see that you arrive safely.”

Reaching up, Gelria stroked Parisite’s cheek, pausing as the streak of blood painted down it, and he looked at his hand, scoffing. “Apologies. I’ve gotten you all bloody. Who do you have to let know that they’re safe. May I assist?”

Trash panda wasn’t going to die tonight. In fact...well.

He wasn’t going to die tonight.

He hissed through his teeth, the pressure didn’t feel good, for all that it was needed.
“It’s not so bad. You should have seen the um…”

He halted the chain of thought. “The… other people he attacked might be at the Hospital by now.” He admitted thoughtfully.

“uUm… you’d… probably like them. On your side and all…”

s**t… s**t s**t s**t… He needed to be sure Karone wasn’t going to run into Gelria… it might be snap first and ask questions later.
He made a sound in his throat, displeased and trying to decide if it was better to draw Gelria away and cause a potential panic or - well.

Well hell, two knights and a cat already knew who he was.

“Compromise…” He said, holding up a finger.
“It’s… some knights I know mostly. He… got their names.’ He waved a hand at the… bloody corpse that lingered.

“So I sorta need to text and tell people I’m not gonna be here when they show up.”

He glanced around to check the surroundings and then waved a hand to tell Gelria to follow if he was still so inclined.

“Alley…. “ He said. because he didn’t want to get….well, the crime scene on his civilian clothes.

He let himself drop to the alley, staggering and catching himself on the wall, Waiting for Gelria to follow close behind, and…

Powered down, the wall was now a lot nicer to have because all of this had been, well…awful. He didn’t think the cuts were that bad, not -really, it still felt like he had all his ribs at least.

Maybe Priam could be his doctor, that would be nicer than a stranger…though it probably broke some kind of rule.

He fumbled for his phone and checked to see what messages had sent and if he’d gotten a reply as he tried to think of what to do for a follow-up message that wouldn’t have the FBI knocking down anyone’s doors.

To Ilya, he sent a quick message. - “That old boot - it’s on the roof - I am not tall enough to get it back from where it got chucked. I am- Going to the hospital to catch up with the others I hope. - YU” - if the message to Karone had made it, he’d send a follow-up and pray she had her phone, or that he was gone by then.

After he finished typing he let himself look back to see just how Gelria was taking the… revelation.

The very last thing that Gelria was expecting was for the captain to power down in front of him. To reveal himself. And to talk about people...on his side of the war...He frowned, following the male and hesitating, wrapped an arm around his waist, offering some support. “Friends...on my side? How...how the hell does that work?”

He wanted to extend the same trust, wanted to...reveal himself to his Trash Panda but…

...But he was...afraid. This was against all rules. “Which hospital will we take you to...What...what’s your name?”

He was still debating, his face in a confused half scowl, and finally, he huffed and grit his teeth, letting his own power fade, plain old boring Caleb standing where Gelria had been, still supporting the male.

“...This...feels so wrong, I hope you know. I’m not sure why you decided that this was a good idea.”

“Uh…” He hesitated, trying to remember the closest hospital to their house, and offered up the name after his brain finally spat out the information.

“Uh… My… name is Yu, and I… figure it doesn’t matter. I’m gonna … join your side.” He shrugged slightly. It wasn’t a super uncommon name, at least

He considered saying ‘so is my boss please don’t kill her if she shows’ but… he was just going to have to hope that his texts made it. <********….” He added squeezing his eyes shut. “I leaned on the ******** wall, did I bleed all over it? ******** hell.”

“uhh… What’s your name Cinnamon-toast?”

When Ilya had powered up, he had made sure to keep his cell phone off of him so he could carry it with him. Realistically, he supposed it wasn't safe--if something did happen, he could have easily lost it and someone could have figured out who he was.

...But it was his only line of connection to Yu right now, and he had promised Priam and Sterling that he would do everything he could to make sure he was all right.

He arrived later than he'd wanted, partly because he had been on his way out the door and caught Soleiyu frantically throwing open the door. It had taken him only a moment to touch base with them, to hear Soleiyu's frantic explanation. Soleiyu was doing all that he could to get them taken care of, and he listed off the hospital. He hadn't said how he was going to sneak in, but he had insisted that he was. There was a bag dragged out, and briefly Ilya wondered if a creature as smart as Soleiyu expected to just show up in a bag.

He didn't have time to question. The sirens were getting closer and he could hear voices in side--tired, stressed. He called to ask if they were okay. Priam had yelled to go get Yu, in a voice so desperate that he wasn't sure he could have said no even if he'd wanted to.

Priam said they were fine. Priam was a doctor. He trusted that.

The steady text messages from Soleiyu after he left indicated that the Mauvian had been able to sneak into the ambulance in the bag, though Ilya couldn't imagine how.

The hospital. The doctor they were with. Updates. It was like Soleiyu couldn't stop texting, in the absence of actually being able to speak with them while he hid at the hospital.

Yu hadn't been hard to find, not while he was powered up. He knew where to look, and even with Yu powered down, he had made it to the area, and heard voices.

Not unkind voices. They weren't fighting. Which was consistent with the text message, that everything would have been handled. There was a cold pit in his stomach, but he was ignoring it.

"You can finish introductions later," Beira said when he joined them; he felt like he stuck out like a sore thumb. He didn't think he'd been seen, but this wasn't the standard cover of the night he suspected he was supposed to operate under. He looked at the wall, where Yu was. Where the blood was. It made his skin crawl. "I'll take care of that later," he said, not because it made any sense to but because it was something easy to put on the list. To erase all of this.

"They're fine. The ambulance picked them up, Sol went with them. I'm sorry for intruding," he said, but he wasn't really. He crossed the distance between them, escaping into the cover of the alley so he could keep his voice low and reduce chances of anyone seeing him. He nodded to the man he didn't know, but his attention was almost strictly on Yu. "Destiny City Memorial Hospital, they're with doctors right now. There might be police at your house, the official story is a robbery gone wrong."

Beira looked at Yu, and there was so many unspoken words in his expression as he tried to register every injury. He was standing, but it didn't seem unlike Yu to push himself well beyond his own limits. "...Are you okay?"

Caleb’s eyes lingered on the blood for a moment and he swallowed. “Ah. Caleb. Just Caleb.” This...felt so strange. And what the hell did he mean, he was going to join his side? Join his side for what? That...wasn’t something that was possible.

This was obviously nothing more than a trap, at least...that was what he thought until someone who was clearly a senshi. He was talking to Yu...to his Trash Panda like he knew him. Like he knew everything and it was utterly disconcerting. For a moment, Caleb simply stared at the senshi, looking him up and down, his nose wrinkling in confusion, and what could clearly be interpreted as dislike. “...But you’re...a senshi. You realize that he...that this is someone who’s part of chaos, right? Why are you...acting like you’re friends?”

His mind was spinning, and Caleb just wanted to see where the joke would end. What the punchline would be.

...Either that or he was seriously getting himself into a trap that he wouldn’t be able to get out of. “I’m. Confused.”

“Oh thank god….” Yu let himself sag a little knowing they were alright, “I wasn’t sure it would work, not…not enough.” he admitted.

He did wince at the idea of police at the house. “God… ok, probably shouldn’t go back to the house, they’d probably put me in cuffs for breathing.”

It didn’t immediately answer the question of if he was okay though. He did at least seem to realize that and gave a thumbs up.

“I mean… knives to a sword fight…fine but. Uh..yeah I’m good.” He offered.

He blinked at Cinnamon Toast…. sorry, Caleb, and his clear confusion.

“Be….cause he’s part of why I’m … not staying a the side I am? Because he...” He paused and then continued "Be....cause he is a friend." He offered carefully. “
We have a cat who knows too… sort of, I mean It talks so you probably don’t own them any more than you can a regular…. anyhow um… uh… I’m still sort of... It’s not a trap. I’m trusting you not to…do the snappy…thing.”

He sighed.

“I am not sure if we should go back to the house or to the hospital, both have bandages, but… they probably both have questions too.” He admitted. “I…am too tired for this s**t.”

Ilya filed away the name, and though he figured the title of Cinnamon-Toast he'd heard just before he'd announced himself probably had implications. He looked at him for a moment, judgmental, but let his gaze slide to Yu instead.

"The police will do an investigation, they'll take what evidence they can. It won't go anywhere," he said, because they knew who had broken in and they knew this wasn't a robbery. They knew what had happened to man who hurt Sterling and Priam and Yu. The police didn't need to. "...But I suspect they'll have left a mess. Soleiyu told me that there was a lot of blood. You know how..."

He glanced at Caleb, a bit reluctant to share private information in front of him--but Yu had powered down. Yu trusted him.

It was good enough.

"...Sterling...can be. If you think there's anything that can trigger him, don't take him back to the house. Go to the hospital, go see them there. They'll both feel better if they get to be with you."

He didn't think Yu was as 'good' as he said he was, so he just exhaled heavily. He didn't want him going back to the house, not while there were officers there. He reached into subspace and pulled out a set of keys. He didn't think he needed to explain that they were his house keys. He might have still offered them if Yu hadn't said he was a friend, but Yu saying it cemented it.

"I don't know if you have the strength to teleport or if you're going to walk, but if you need to, you can go to my house. You know where the first aid kit is. You know where to find spare clothes. But I think you might be better off going to the hospital and getting taken care of. You're probably high on adrenaline right now. If you have any other injuries, it's only a matter of time before that runs out, and I don't want you passed out bleeding somewhere. Even if you've got Caleb with you."

He looked at him for another second, still trying to size him up.

"...Don't let Sterling go back in that house until it's cleaned up, Yu. I can take care of it if you give me a few hours. We'll let the police get out of there, I'll take care of your problem on the roof and then I can head over."

He held out the keys for Yu. "If they let you all out of the hospital before the house is cleaned, just take them to mine. You've all been traumatized enough. I don't even care if you make a mess at my place. Just go there, all of you, and stay safe. No more surprises from any of you. All right?"
