It had been a long time since Kazuo and Kraven had been on a date. Sure they lived together, but they'd fallen into a routine where they just... didn't go out much. It suited them both just fine. Kaz never found himself feeling neglected, but honestly, when these little custom shops started popping up, Kazuo got excited.

He loved Christmas time. In Japan Christmas wasn't for family, it was another holiday for couples. So despite living in America for so long, it was still for couples. It didn't take much convincing for Kazuo to get Kraven to agree. Maybe they were both feeling a bit cooped up and needed to stretch their legs.

Bundled up in a couple of coats, a scarf, and a hat, Kazuo walked with Kraven to the little cafe and couldn't stop the pleased gasp as he stepped in. It was beautiful!

"Wow, I never expected someone to go all out like this for a temporary place.." Sure they did it in Japan, but they functioned very differently! He was so pleased.

Kazuo started unwinding his scarf as he stepped toward the counter, pocketing it in one of his large coat pockets. His hair stuck up every which way as he removed his hat as well and then hummed.

"Well, it's really ....more white than white and red. It's not overly done? Sure there are things like this, but I just didn't expect it from this place." Kazuo shrugged and thought about it. "I will find some videos from home and show you what it's like. It's a lot easier than trying to explain." Kaz looked up at his taller boyfriend and just grinned a little.

"I want the cold hot chocolate." It sounded stupid enough to be good. "Or.. Frozen hot chocolate, actually."

"I don't know why white, actually. I just know it's the main color people use to decorate. As for my family... No? Christmas is a couple holiday. It's not really... a family gathering time?" He turned his head to look at Kraven again before shrugging.

He waited patiently for their turn, and when it was, Kazuo stepped up and ordered a medium frozen hot chocolate. "What did you want?" He blinked those cinnamon colored eyes at his boyfriend.

He ordered Kraven a mocha iced coffee and ended up paying for everything before the other man could even try to pay. Licking his lips, Kaz took the receipt and stretched out before moving further down the way to let other people order.

What did he want to do? "Well..." Kazuo thought a moment and tilted his head as he pocketed his wallet. "I don't know. I never thought past visiting this place. Maybe we can just take a walk? I hear the park has a lights display. I've never really seen it before." Sure he lived in Destiny City for years now, but besides going to work, and then 'work', he didn't do the touristy things.

"What do you think?"

Kazuo couldn't help but laugh at his boyfriend and moved to just sort of hug onto his arm for now. It was the most PDA Kaz was comfortable with, so for him to initiate it meant something. The holidays did put him in a lovey mood, but he never really did anything big or special with Kraven. Not for lack of wanting, but just lack of not really knowing what to do since things were done completely different here.

"I'll just show you some videos when we get home. There are some YouTube ones that explain it perfectly."

Then the mention of shopping got brought up and Kazuo thought a moment. He already got the owner of the store he worked for a gift, along with the entire staff because...Christmas. He even got a couple of personal friends gifts, but other than buying for Kraven, well. "I just have yours left to buy... and if I buy it with you here it's not a surprise. So right now I'm okay. I even got the bird a new chew toy so he'd stop eating the walls."

Their drinks were called and Kaz went to gather them both and handed his to Kray before going to a little table for two and tucked himself away in the corner so Kraven wouldn't be as cramped.

"These are so cute..."

The nickname brought a blush to the shorter man's cheek and he looked up with a soft look. Clearing his throat, he just took out his phone and took a couple pictures of both of their drinks before pocketing the thing again. "Look, the whipped cream has little marshmallow snowmen on it, and it's just cute. Yours has a really nice mocha drizzle on the inside of the cup..."

Kazuo liked details. "And yes, I did get the cat things. I got a whole new cat tree, and some treats, and some more toys. I'm just glad we didn't have to worry about Ko eating Sho. I've had Sho a lot longer." He'd had Sho since Sho had just gotten his feathers!

With that said, Kazuo sipped at his frozen hot chocolate and let out a pleased little noise. "Oh it's really good!"

Kazuo snorted a little and pouted. "You're so mean to me!" He feigned, clutching his chest before sobering back up. Kazuo wasn't playful often in public, but it wasn't completely out of character for him. The brunette just continued to happily sipped at his frozen hot chocolate, swaying back and forth.

And then one of his honest to God startling sneezes. "A-cho!" He even jumped a little in his chair with the sudden onset of the sneeze. With an annoyed sigh, he used a napkin to dab under his nose.

"Anyway. ...I did, though. Pick yours because chocolate. I don't want to share my frozen hot chocolate and you like chocolate, right?"

"HA!"

Kazuo flinched at his own voice. That was really, unnecessarily loud. "Sorry. But that's what you get fo-fo-Choo!" He was interrupted by a sneeze again and then groaned.

"....Ugh, mine too." He rubbed at his face and the waited. Anymore sneezes coming through?

No? He sipped his drink again and then hummed. "Like I was saying! That's what you get for threatening my thermostat." He wagged a finger very playfully at his boyfriend before sticking his bottom lip out in a pout. "But seriously though. I do have one... It's just for me though. So I can remember what I like from wh-choo!"

When Kazuo opened his eyes, he saw.... snowflakes? What?

"Do you see this?"
