Prompt 2: The downside to an army of little bunnies is that they burrow. There are holes peppering Destiny City, and with the fresh fallen snow it can be impossible to tell where they are hiding. The holes range from small holes to several feet deep, so can be a minor inconvenience to a potential hazard. On the bright side, sometimes you wind up covered in bunnies looking for warmth from their sudden guest. On the other hand, there are a rising number of trips to the hospital for twists and sprains.

Namielle wasn't a huge fan of the cold, in fact she had been thoroughly pampered since arriving here and the thought of being outside really wasn't appealing. Even with the little feline mittens she'd sourced in a mission that would inevitably ruin Regula's amazon purchase history, she could steal feel the cold underneath her and she was all around unimpressed. She'd drawn the short straw this morning you see - while the human slumbered in bed, resting from an actual nightshift rather than antics as a costumed hero, she and Orias had debated the chores that had been left for them in the meantime.

Yep. Chores.

They were serious chores too and given the tone of voice that Regula had taken with both of them it was abundantly clear that this was not open for debate. It may have been the fact they'd both ignored him for most of the week in regards to them, compounded on the fact he'd almost broken his ankle on the way back in to the house, but he was very blunt now. If they didn't have this place fixed by the time he woke up then he'd skin them both and send them outside to freeze. Orias and she had therefore made bets on who would look after the inside and who would deal with the chores outside.

She'd lost and she was now in charge of cleaning up outside.

In the grand scheme of things the 'outside' had decided less to do, but that didn't mean she was terribly happy about the fact she was freezing her backside off. The fact that this was manual labour and would therefore warm her up as she worked hadn't even twigged yet... But then again would it for someone who was otherwise inclined towards warmth and plush? Well, whether she liked it or not she was out here not and with a deep breath she stomped through the front yard to inspect what may or may not have attempted to 'kill' the actual man of the house.

At first she saw nothing of significance, the fresh snow had covered many of the culprits, but no sooner had she ventured further through than she soon fell into a 'trap' herself. Deeper than the others, she fell into one of the holes and released a deep sigh. Given the depth of it this was probably the one that had almost 'murdered' their beloved human, and given it was so well hidden it was safe to say that she was going to have to figure out how to identify these hidden potholes quickly so they could be removed efficiently and she could return to the warmth.

Did those little roombas Orias make have a snow plough function?

Unlikely, but she was going to put it in the suggestion box.

Alas, with no quick and easy solutions forthcoming she would simply have to pick her way across the yard. She'd mark each of these little burrowed holes in turn and once she was confident she'd found them all she'd fill them in with soil. It would take a while but it would be compact enough to prevent further injury and then she could clean herself off and curl up somewhere warm. Plan in mind she set to work, all being well, she'd be done in a few hours and could retreat to the comfort of the house once more!
