Biography
Asami was born and raised in the Sun Elf Tribe. She had been raised by caring and compassionate parents. Around the age of 8, she began to take up a liking of children. She would help midwives when they needed and looked after other elves children. As she grew older, her love of children continued to grow. During the yearly ceremony, she would look after the children with others from other tribes.

Upon the Priestess Ceremony just after her 13th birthday, she was taken in as a Priestess and given the task of midwife. She accepted the role and quickly became known as the Motherly Midwife. She treated every birth as if it were her own child, envious of the parents of each baby she helped birth. When she turned 19, she left the Priestesshood and decided to go off into the world, to find love and find her place. She met a young man, a human who enjoyed travelling. Together, they took on the world and after being together a few short months, they married and soon expected their first child.

Asami was beyond ready to be a mother but their dreams were cut short when she miscarried. And from there, she miscarried three more children. With each miscarriage, she and her husband grew further apart until the last one when he told her would be leaving her. Alone and sorrowful, she fell into depression. To only make matters worse, a week after he left, her husband was struck and killed by a runaway wagon. She was left with their home in Bormiel, and left in a depressed state for several months. After a small baby boom in her town, someone had learned about her days as a Priestess and sought her out when one mother began to have a difficult labor. Asami knew she had to help and did what she could, using what magic she knew from being a Priestess. Both mother and baby survived and she became known as the resident Midwife, helping to birth all babies to this day. In knowing she may never have her own, she takes pride in helping others complete their families.
