Personality: Hana is best described as strong willed, unshakeable, and infallible. She's got tough skin and is totally unaffected by displays of strength or petty insults as she prefers letting her blows do the talking instead. While tough and even a bit no nonsense at times she has no issue being soft with people she feels close too and can be the real life of the party when she's in the right mood. All in all Hana is tough when she needs to be and an outgoing and personable when she wants to be. She does suffer from some melancholy from time to time due to the fact that as the years go by and she doesn't age her family gets older and older and eventually she'll watch them all die while she remains the same.
Bio:
At first Hana was born a wizard no different from anyone else, she attended school and had become proficient in combat magic. Eventually Hana had first gotten a job as a military guard due to her families storied lineage and she was placed to guard a facility out by the sea. Everyday she'd walk out by the sea as part of her patrol and she'd become rather friendly with several Ningyo who lived in those waters. While the others warned against becoming friendly with them as they were non wizards she saw no harm and showed them kindness. She helped them with small things that they needed help with and always took time out of her day to to chat with them. Eventually however the facility would be attacked by insurgents who wanted the research on some of the darkest magic that was kept secret and she would be called to action. Everyone fought valiantly and they did win in the end but it was not without heavy casualties and many more injured. Hana had just so happened to be on her patrol along the beach when she was ambushed and was mortally wounded during the process of killing all the others.
However as she laid on the beach dying the Ningyo had stepped in and came onto land to offer their help. While they didn't have any powers they informed her of a very well kept secret of their people and if she swore to not tell anyone they would help her. As it turned out of one ate the flesh of a Ningyo then their wounds would heal exponentially faster and would be blessed with eternal youth. As such for the kindness that she showed when nobody else would one of them carved a small chunk out of their own flesh and fed that flesh to her. Once she awakened her wounds were healed and the Ningyo were nowhere to be seen. As years went by Hana took note that she hadn't aged a day since that fateful evening and not only that but she had slowly lost the ability to use her magic as it seemed to be a tradeoff for the blessing of eternal youth. And so eventually she left her old job as a guard for something much less grandiose and simple. When questioned by her family Hana kept her word and simply told them that something happened at the facility that ended up giving her eternal youth and taking away her magic, although when asked what she would simply state that she didn't know. Hana knew that this had to remain a secret due to the fact that if this got out the Ningyo would be hunted for their flesh and more than likely hunted to extinction or worse, put into a breeding farm to live their lives breeding babies for the high class elite to eat and gain eternal youth.
