The cold wind whistled as it blow through the Meadows. It was a colder the normal morning for sure but Blushing Star had to get out of her home burrow for a little while. Her mama and papa had...not been driving her crazy but... Ok they where driving her crazy. She rolled her eyes as her mind finally admitted it. It wasn't there fault really but their love was so pure and amazing and we'll Blushing Star was ready for that epic type of love. But she still had not found a hop to make sure dreams come true.Sighing she moved around the dormant wild flowers that more resembled sticks and twigs. Her mama had just kept saying "My little Star you will find somehow just give it time. Your not even a full year old." But Star was full grown now and wanted to find her mate so they could have an amazing love story like her parents. Heck even her brother who had found someone already.
Shacking her head her ears flopped around and the cold air sent a chill vibrating down her spin. She knew she needed to calm down and relax like her papa told her but she just did not understand why finding a mate was so hard for her. In part she believed it had to be because of her overly large ears. After all they where so different and always getting in the way. When she was younger some mean kits even made fun of her about her mega ears. She had not even noticed it until then but after that she never forgot.
Looking to the sky she said "Why can't I find a buck that loves me. That wants me for all that I am. I mean I know I'm different and even a little weird but isn't there some hop out there that can whole heatedly love me for all of me." A tear slide down her soft peach cheek as her pleaded or prayed to the gods that be.
*Crash* "Oh oh no." The sound of braking clay pulled Blushing Star form her thoughts. It's not so far off from where she is. Sniffing back her sadness she decide to go and check it out. From the brush she hides and sees a very frantic hop gathering up and broken cup while another cup rests neatly over one ear. It was cute to be sure and Blushing Star couldn't stop herself form giggling. The buck having heard the giggle stops dead still and looks around searching. "Who's there?" He finally calls out.
Ducking further down into the brush, Blushing Star hides herself. She is not sure why she does this but part of her just wanted to watch this beautiful buck. His fur was peach and blue with broken white markings. He honestly looked so much like the morning sunrise that she was sure he could get lost in the background of the sunrise on some mornings. "Go talk to him silly." Her inner self told her but she stayed in her place. She was not ready to brake the spell this handsome buck was having over her.

"Is there somehop there?" Tips Tea called out again he was sure he had heard a giggle but he could not spot the source. Shrugging he and more then confused he started cleaning up the tea cup he had shattered. This was the fifth one today. As he leaned down the cup on his head loosened and began to fall. closing his eye he waited for cup number six to shatter. After all he knew there was no way he could catch it in time with his butter figures. "NOOOO!!!!"A soft famine voice yelled out and just as the cup would have hit the ground and broken the most amazing hop Tips had ever seen caught the cup.At first they simple started at each other unsure of what to do next. Clearing her throat Blushing Star stands up and hands the cup back to the buck. "Umm here you go." "Thanks." "So what are you doing out here?" she asks even though she has no right to but it was the first question that came to mind. "Oh umm...It's...It's tea time." he stammers for the words and she cant help but giggle again. A knowing look crosses his face as he realizes she was the one form earlier. With out thinking he blurts out "Your giggle is so soft." Heat rises in her checks and she was grateful she was already peach because otherwise he would be able to see her blushing. "Thank you." she quietly replies.
Not sure what to say or do Tips Tea says "Would you like to join me for tea?" Blushing Star grins at the idea and nods. As they sit together they talk about their likes and dislikes. It was easy conversation and really really heart warming for the both of them. As the sun begins to set Blushing Star knows she needs to get back home before dark. Standing she says " I need to get going home. Thank you for the tea." she giggles again as she looks at the cups. "You are very welcome." "Bye" she says as she hops way. It was long before Tips Tea realized in all their talking they had never exchanged names. Panic sets in that he did not know her name. How would he find her again? What had he done?

Blushing Star enters her home burrow grinning. It had turned out to be a wonderful day in the meadow. The buck was amazing and she could totally see a future with him after all their talking. But she had to be sure the feelings where the same. She had internally not given her name to the buck. "If he really wants me for me then he will find me." she had reasoned as she hopped home. But now in her room she wondered if that had been a good plan. She really like this buck and she really truly hoped he would come looking for her.
