Quote: Prompt 5: Though Destiny City is a busy metropolis, dense forests encircle the city. It's uncommon for wildlife to wander into the city--especially larger creatures--but something is making its mark on Destiny City. Large footprints, humanlike but far too large to belong to any ordinary human, are appearing around Destiny City. They always lead to the woods, and back again--and the strange part is that no one seems to be able to see what has caused them. Cameras distort, and anyone who thinks they've come into contact with the creature can only make out a thick, white fur and something easily nine feet tall. Oddly enough, any surface near the tracks are covered in a sheet of ice, as though whatever passed close to them was so cold it left a frosty trail. Clue asked his partner as they walked around the forest. Currently he and New were wandering around the forest, and all he could do was be reminded of the forest in that village. "Reminds me of that village thing. I wouldn't be surprised if we ran into another monster." He said, muttering the latter to himself. He thought that this would have been a good opportunity to tell New what had happened, but he still hadn't found the courage to do it. It had been a few days, and he had needed to process what had happened. He wasn't sure if he was too happy about the situation, but he was happy that he could relate more to New now and that they could go through... whatever this all was together. But he had been avoiding going outdoors due to the cold, considering how light his outfit was. And he hadn't had the heart to tell New what had happened because of his reaction. He was afraid that New might get angry at him for it. He didn't believe that they would break up, but Clue was terrible at confrontations, and something as dangerous as what he had been dragged into, now on purpose rather than accident like with the Village fog... It wasn't a good situation at all. "You see anything yet that you were looking for?" He asked New, wandering over to the other, hands in his pockets and trying to stay warm.

""We're out looking for some sort of creature." So really they were likely to run into some sort of monster, or something, the news was talking and people where whispering all about some sort of very tall thing made of white fur. What this being was no one knew and pictures and cameras were all a mess. "White fur doesn't sound like we ran into in that village." At the mention of the village he did stare at Clue. He still didn't like thinking of that place. Not because of being locked up but for when he thought they were going to die, that he'd failed Clue. The fact they'd spent how many nights up, awake, inside a small home scared and huddled under blankets.
"We have some things arriving tomorrow in the mail." He had taken it seriously when he'd mentioned wanting to fill their apartment and really make it theirs. He hadn't been kidding, not in the slightest bit, and he'd been working towards proving that.
"No, nothing yet." As Clue got close he pulled the other gently against his side. "I don't know if we will find it...I hope it's not as dangerous as...that was." Trailing off as he kept one hand buried in the pocket of his puffy coat. It was long, going past his knees, and heavy down with insulation on the inside. It was more than enough to keep warm, he'd gotten the coats (one for himself and one for Clue) on sale. It was a shock to find them on sale, given how expensive they normally were, but he wasn't about to turn them down. They were good quality and warm as hell.
"I'm glad you're here also..." Even if it was dangerous for Clue. He didn't want to leave him behind either, to leave him at home to worry. He didn't like putting Clue in danger either though. He was trying to balance things as best he could.

"Fun. I just hope it isn't like the last one we ran into." He knew New didn't like to be reminded, but it was an experience they had shared, and it's not as though it was a short event. Sure, it was short according to Destiny City/their reality time, but the 3 weeks that they felt they had spent in the village was long enough.
"Really? Can't wait to see what you got then." He said as he rubbed up against New, letting himself be pulled. "I appreciate the coat though. You know what you're doing when it comes to those." Honestly he would have just worn one of those big puffy ski/snowboarding coats if it was up to him, but New was good at shopping, better than he was, so when New offered to buy him something, he didn't pass at the chance.
Clue cupped his boyfriends face. "I'm glad I am too, though I'm not sure who much help I can be..." He said, trailing off a bit as he looked at New. It wasn't the best place to kiss his boyfriend but honestly this was as good a time as any. They could get a quick kiss in before anything hap-
Suddenly there was a loud roar and Clue couldn't help but feel annoyed as he removed his hand from the other's face. "Looks like we found your creature."

"I hope so also." And he didn't think it would be...at least he hoped not. He didn't want to run into something like that again, he wasn't going to be forgetting that one any time soon. "Winter here isn't nice....it's not like home." And he thought it would be good to get Clue a proper coat to handle the Destiny City winter, he'd do the same for anyone he was dating and living with.
"I'm glad you like the coat." He was glad it was warm and that it fit Clue well. He had worried that it might not, sizes here did run different than back home. But it had fit and Clue liked it so he was happy with how he'd done.
Leaning into the others hand, dark eyes meeting Clue's, he knew the other was going to kiss him. But then something just had to interrupt it. He knew it was what they'd been looking for but he still wasn't happy. It could have waited a few minuets.
"We should wait for that." Obviously. The monster was here and he doubted it would give them time to kiss. "Maybe we can figure out what it is..." And maybe they wouldn't get hurt, at least that's what he was hoping. One hand slipped to his pocket where he was keeping his henshin pen, he'd brought it just incase. Clue knew he had it, there was no way he'd have left it at home. "Let's go...." There was no way it wasn't close and was likely headed their way.

"Definitely different." He was sure that if he stayed here longer he may get used to the cold, but for now it made him want to stay in their apartment without going outside. At least he could play football indoors. "The coat definitely helps."
He grinned at New. "We'll have plenty of time once we're done with your monster, though I would have liked a bit more time." But they hadn't come out here for making out. They came here in search of a beast and for the analysis that New wanted to conduct on it.
It was back to walking though, and he followed Clue for a bit longer, now hearing some loud noises and what sounded like... something out there. But when it did appear Clue still hadn't been expecting it, especially when it came out with such force.
One moment there had just been some trees that they were going to go through, then suddenly he felt himself falling back as an even louder roar could be heard and a large white furry creature with red eyes and long fangs appeared. It looked as though it were standing on two legs, so anthropomorphic? Clue wasn't sure, but he looked around to see if New was okay before he spotted him and tried to run over, but the creature suddenly blocked his path with one of his large arms, and turned itself towards New. "New look out!" Was the only thing he could think to yell as he tried to get back on his feet.

"You promise? When we get home?" He'd heard Clue, despite being rather focused on hunting down this beast that was roaming a part of their city. The idea of later was almost tempting enough to make him want to change course and go home now, but he had a duty to find this creature.
The trees they'd been walking through parted rather suddenly and there it was, likely drawn to them due to the noise they'd been making. Who knew how sensitive it's hearing was.
But here it was all white and with red eyes and large teeth...it didn't look friendly, not that he expected it to. It was like the other beast, in that when it roared there was something of a shockwave which sent himself and Clue to the ground. Picking himself up, slowly, he was searching for Clue. "Clue!" Gaining the beasts attention, something he knew Clue wasn't going to like, he'd rather it's attention be on him.
"I think I'll be ok." As he had his henshin pen out and ready.
"You be safe Clue!"

Clue had promised. He couldn't let New down like that. Besides, even he was looking forward to it. But right now that wasn't what he was supposed to be focusing on! He scrambled to his feet and saw that the monster or Youma or whatever it was supposed to be was headed towards New and Clue hesitated. He had his own pen with him, something that he had been told he needed to transform after that first time. Would this be a good time to transform though? During the middle of a battle? He wasn't sure if that would distract New and cause him to be hurt so Clue kept it to himself for now, only keeping his hand in his pocket where the pen was. If New looked like he was in danger, he would be sure to change and ignore any protests that New may have had. The creature, not really caring about which civilian to attack first, decided to swing one of it's arms at the one that had made a noise as it had been so rudely interrupted doing... whatever it was doing. It just wanted to be left in peace for now! It had plenty of energy for the night!

Great, just lovely. It was swinging at him, though it was better than the youma going for Clue. It still sent New tumbling and had him finally drawing on the power the pen in his hand had. Powering up he was able to use his own magic now. He just hoped it would help as he took a moment to look at Clue, hoping the other was ok. He'd make sure they got away from this run in, unlike the monster in that village.
"Dance for me." Sending out his own attack, hoping to keep the monster focused on him, the dark mirror senshi was hoping to find some way to deal with the youma and defeat it. He didn't like the idea of leaving something like this out and about and he did think it was a youma...though he could be wrong - he wasn't sure really.
"Clue - be safe!" Calling over to the other as he got up, again, from the ground. Quote: Dance for me. Holding out both hands, palms down, he calls out his attack. From the ground, in a five foot circle around Itokawa mushrooms will sprout and anyone within this ring of mushrooms will feel the need to dance. It's a strong need but for those will a strong will they will be able to fight this need. Also if someone dances/steps/is pulled out of this circle the spell will be broken. Itokawa himself is not affected by his magic. It can be used three times in battle and lasts for 30 seconds each time.

The monster barely even noticed the circle of mushrooms that had sprouted. What it did notice was that it's feet wasn't doing what it wanted to do. It wanted to move forward. But it's feet were trapped somehow. They were moving a bit, slowly and awkwardly and he was almost able to pull a foot free but felt itself tumbling as it was unable to stay balanced. Because of it it did fall out of the circle, it's upper half, and started to crawl its way towards New, now Itokawa! It looked like New had been able to capture the monster, at least for a short time. Still as Clue tried to decide if he wanted to get closer to New or if he was supposed to stay away, the creature managed to partially escape and was already on the move towards New once again! "New watch out!" Was all he could think of yelling! He still hesitated for a moment, but then brought out his own pen and transformed. When it was done he started to run over to New, hoping the he could be of some help!

Backing up, slowly, as he watched the beast head towards him. he'd thought he'd have been safe, as it seemed his magic have taken hold, but the monster was crawling towards him. It had fallen, thankfully, but that hadn't stopped it and now it was headed for him once again.
Before he could do more he felt another signature - another dark mirror. Turning as his name was called he was shocked to see the other dark mirror...Clue?
"Clue?" Calling out he shook his head, he'd ask him about the new status later, as he reached out to the other. "See what you can do. We can handle it together." He was sure they could! Even if it just got them time to get away he was fine with that.

Clue grabbed onto the outstretched arm of New. "Sorry, I meant to tell you earlier. Just, didn't know how." He said as quickly as he could considering the monster was still headed towards them. The unfortunate part of how he had been awakened meant he hadn't been able to train much with his new powers, so he was still pretty new to his spells. And what they did to him. "Breath of Fire!" He yelled, and the moment that he closed his mouth again he could feel it building and just as the monster reached out, looking like it was trying to grab them, Clue opened his mouth and flame spout out, scorching the monsters hand and causing it to shriek loudly at the pain. And the fire. Apparently Ice themed monsters didn't really like that. When the spell was done Clue could feel himself sweating a bit, still hot from his attack. "Ugh, really wish... that did something else." He muttered to New, keeping his hand tightly in the other's and squeezing as he tried to keep his balance. Quote: Breath of Fire! Bellerophon says the attack and as he does so he can feel his mouth getting hotter. The next time he opens it, he lets out a breath of flame! This can last up to 15 seconds (depending on if he wants it to) and reach about 3 feet. Can be used 3 times. Doesn’t hurt him but can make his enemies feel as though they are on fire (they may choose how they feel it, such as fully or just a part of them and they have to brush it off/roll to get it off but they can feel it). May still feel warm a few hours afterwards (up to the player)
