Quote: Prompt 1: Destiny City has its fair share of infestations--rats, youma, seasonal monsters...There's no shortage of unpleasantries. But, for the first time in a while, there's a pleasant sort of infestation: along with the winter chill and a steady stream of snow, it seems like a herd of small, fluffy white rabbits have overrun the city. They aren't menacing or evil, they're just everywhere. They seem strangely domesticated; they are sweet, curious, and friendly creatures that will eat anything you give them. They always seem cold to the touch, and when they shake, little snowflakes sprinkle off of them. They can show up just about anywhere, either alone or--often--in pairs. They tend to wander off on their own but they seem to appreciate anything warm and will cuddle up to steal body heat. Jaysen found herself perched up a park wall covered in a thin, but slowly growing layer of snow as she watched the 'chaos' before her. It would figure, that the one time Keiran finally manages to drag her outside or even meet up, the city would be over run with white rabbits. The ******** kinda Alice in Wonderland bullshit is this??? Though according to Keiran's absolute shrieks of delight, snowflakes fall of of them? She she say Alice In Wonderland? Maybe she meant Nightmare Before Christmas. Though then again, any rabbits from THERE would have done more then... leave a trail of snowflakes. She snorted from her perch, looking more like a grumpy blob then anything else as she shoved her fists, further into her hoodie pockets. The crunch of snow had her looking down as one of the rabbits hopped over, investigating the wall. Wither or not it was interested in her, was none her concern and after a moment she turned her attention back to Kei. Who apparently was flopped over on his back in the snow booping several of the rabbits' noses Why had she agreed to this again? This was ridiculous. It was cold as all hell and here they were, well one of them anyway, flopped over in the snow giving no shits about who saw them or what they thought about it. ******** freezing bullshit. When that rabbit turned him into something dumb, he better not come crying to her about it, she thought. Noir Songbird KEI, GET YOUR BORB. Check attention levels. Borb has been known to be jealousterritorial.

This, Keiran was pretty sure, was heaven. Heaven was flopping down amongst friendly, adorable rabbits, all of whom seemed to love people, which was a special sort of thing. Most wild animals weren't nearly this friendly, and while part of him was sure this probably wasn't safe, another part thought that....well, that he might as well enjoy this.
One of the bunnies gave a full-body shake, depositing a dusting of snowflakes on Keiran's chest, and he laughed, and it felt like letting go of all of the stress he'd been feeling for so long. At least for a little bit.
"Come on, Jay," he said, pushing himself up sand catching the bunny on his chest in his arms as he did, "sit down here, make some fuzzy friends. They're friendlier than any wandering animals I've ever seen."

Jay snorted from her perch, as she gave a full body shake. Snow hit the ground with a few dull thumps as one or two of the rabbits came over to investigate. "Why?" They didn't know what these things did.... Destiny City had a certain... knack for s**t going array during Christmas of all times. It was anyone's guess what caused these rabbits to spawn. That being said, she supposed she should humor him... She had agreed to come out after all. "Where are boys...?" She asked, standing on the top of the wall and walking a short distance to a bench before climbing down onto it. It would be as good as he was getting... For now. "They chicken out?"

Keiran sighed faintly, but it was mostly a fond sort of sigh, and he carefully extracted himself from the rabbits so he could stand up and move to sit next to her. With him, he brought the bunny he'd been holding, and he gently plopped it in Jay's lap, then flopped over to put his head on her shoulder.
"Sam wasn't feeling too good, so Jesse's looking after him. It's probably just a cold, so he should be fine, but he's being a big baby about being sick."

"Argh!" Jay reeled as the very cold, and very wet footed rabbit was deposited into her lap. Little ******** piece of s**t... "If this does something, your a** is GRASS." She hissed as he plopped his head on her shoulder. "He always was a big baby.." Jay said, rolling her eyes. "So Jesse's over it then? Or is that still an issue too???" While she didn't know the entire story, Jay knew well enough that there was some past tension between Sam and Jesse. The rabbit put it's front pawns on Jay's hoodie and stretched up to sniff at her face, where she again flinched back in annoyance. Its ears perked up before it chose to move instead to sit on her knee. "What about you?" How was he in all this supposed chaos.

Keiran laughed, fondly. "Right, right, of course," he agreed, without moving from his comfortable place on her shoulder. "If it misbehaves, dump it in my lap instead." Which he felt was a fair solution. After all, he was the one who wanted to spend time with the strange rabbits that had appeared all over Destiny City.
"I think whatever was going on between them, they're doing better now?" Keiran said, and he reached over to pet the rabbit. He was equivocating, of course, like he didn't know exactly what the problem was, but trying to explain it to Jay....would be a whole lot. "But I'm doing okay. Managed to avoid catching whatever Sam has, which is a miniature miracle."
