Prompt 9: Small custom shops and stalls always seem to open up this time of year, and Destiny City has no shortage this year. Several seasonal themed shops have already received raving reviews, and among them is a small café. Outside it looks like a cute vintage café, but inside, the shop has been decorated so convincingly that you feel like you've just stepped into a snowy northern forest. They have an array of delicious, cold drinks, and the trip would be worthwhile for that alone--except, shortly after the first sip, anyone who has ingested the drink will find that they sneeze a flurry of tiny snowflakes. The more drinks consumed, the longer you will find you are sneezing little snowflakes. It feels like there is a tickle up your nose for an hour or longer, depending on player choice; drinking more can also lead to longer effects. There are no negative impacts--just the need to sneeze often, and a little burst of cold snowflakes along with each one. Surprisingly, the shop still doesn't have any bad reviews.

They had been on a break for the last fifteen minutes, a temporary reprieve from multiple tails of Big Foot and several more calls regarding pot holes in the snow. Regula had changed more tyres in the last few days than he had in his collective years of driving, and it was safe to say, that he was a little weary of staring at the exact same issue and the people who couldn't fix it themselves. Thus he was somewhat relieved as he stepped in to the themed café at his partner's behest to pick up something that he had wanted to try.

Something, something 'good things' was all that Regula had gotten from the rambling, but no sooner had they entered than his partner has bustled forward to the counter to place his order while Regula had the opportunity to observe his surroundings. Removing the 'how' from the equation, the officer had to acknowledge that they had done a phenomenal job of transforming this tiny little café into something quite magical. They'd even managed to safely coat the floor and while it wasn't cold inside the building it certainly gave off all the vibes it needed to remind you of the season.

He personally didn't sit in cafes for long periods of time, water began to become significantly more expensive when he did so and in the grand scheme of things too much coffee was bad for him, but he could see himself coming back with a book to relax in the midst of the scenery while it was still here.

Nevertheless it wasn't long before his partner had returned with his takeout mug and both left the area. As lovely as breaks were they weren't permanent and his companion would have to enjoy his new festive drink in the car.

Unfortunately, as his partner took those first sips and the tell tale sneezes of snowflakes began, he could do nothing more than sigh. Vincent bemused expression was at least something to chuckle at as he moved away from the café and back to their usual haunts while they waited for the next call out. Had the officer known that his partner would continue sneezing for the next hour then he might well have persuaded him to get something less festive. As it was, he was subject to the insistent sneezes, the snorts of someone attempting to control their nose, the added 'arghs' of moderate frustration and then to top it all off...the little snowflakes all over the dash.

"You know this feels a lot like the time you tried the crackling candy and got stuck with popping teeth for hours." Regula mused as he turned a corner and shook his head.

"It wasn't hours, it was like...45 minutes."

"Mmm, but it felt like hours after you'd spent the better part of that muttering about it," Regula shook his head. "Why didn't you just go for your usual coffee anyway?"

"Seemed to have good reviews, figured I'd give it a try." Vincent snorted again before letting out another sneeze and flurry of snow.

"I see," A pause followed as Regula slow into the layby. "Just so we're clear, you're the one responsible for cleaning the dashboard when you're done." He finished. His reply was another series of sneezes and at that point he fell quiet. Evidently for the remainder of the evening he would be the one doing the talking until such times as whatever he'd imbibed had worn off. It didn't help that said partner had taken another sip too!

It was going to be a long, long evening...
