Saffron stood on the field watching some students practicing their fighting. She watched their form and was ready to coach them if they were putting themselves in danger. After all they use real swords.
ALRIGHT GUYS C'MON!
She said gesturing to her students. She walked up to them as they were heading to her and she smiled at them.
What a great first day! Thank you all for coming in early. I figured if you aren't early you are late right? I bet you are wondering why we are learning how to fight just with sheer combat and not magic yet. You need to have your forms mastered before we add magic. These basics have to be second nature. You can't just fail magic every which way. You have to know what you are doing but more importantly your body has to know what it's doing. It'll be much easier when you only have to keep your mind on your magic and your body is moving by itself. Instinctively. I promise...You'll all learn...this is no time to rush. And Practice makes prefect. I'll see you all later. Class dismissed. and again thank you all for a wonderful beginning.
She said with a wave of her hand and her student disbursed.
Hmm...Looks like some didn't show up...maybe my message didn't get to them...Maybe they heard about me and dropped my class...
She lightly chuckled to herself.
I think I'm really going to like this year...
She said taking a deep breath of the fresh air.

She walked out on the field trying to calm herself down she still had to got see Magi, but was putting it off cause he scared her. she looked up to see a professor worried she was interrupting an incoming class she looked at her phone to look at the scheduled to see it was just dismissed

Saffron was about to walk towards the school when she heard Lavi.

She said smiling wide at Lavi. She then looked at her a little more seriously registering her question. She sighed.
Well, but I swear if I get another kid that comes at me with a "WhEn CaN wE uSe MaGiC" I will shoot something his way...
Saffron chuckled a little bit

She cleared her throat and then smiled back at Lavi

Saffron laughed loudly standing much like a superhero. After about roughly a minute she stopped laughing wiping a tear from her eye.
Yeah tell me about it. Honestly, I don't think everyone is here for the student though.
She crossed her arms and looked over at the school where Magi's office is.
Some of us are here for the wrong reasons...but I think I'm here for some what good intentions...it's definitely not the pay.
She pouted looking back to Lavi.
I don't think you should petty. I think those of us with great power can be a little to cocky for our britches...I bet I would have given you a hard time back in the say. I was so angry and ready to fight. It didn't sink in until I got knocked on my a** a few times to tell me that I need to...Listen more...and try to taken what others are telling me. I'm sure after dealing with us for a while they will learn...

Saffron heard a familiar voice and smiled. She ran over to Belmont and picked him up to hug him and swing him around.
THERE YOU ARE! I THOUGHT YOU WERE COMING THIS YEAR! YOUR MOM TOLD ME AND I WAS LOOOKING FOR YOU EVERYWHERE! C'MERE MY SMOOSHKIN!
She said hugging him as hard as she could and then putting him down. She smiled at him cheerfully...
How have you been!? Have you been good for Ms. Lavi I hope!
She said extremely excited clearly.

Good to hear! I'll report it back to his mom. Not that she asked me to but what else are we going to talk about. I don't think you have to worry about being a celebrity here though Belmont. I've seen some other pretty high profile students. They don't know I know their branches but I pay attention. It's also good you don't share your name with people. Magi doesn't really want others to use the higher power names...which I actually agree with...If you find a girl I want her to love you for you anyway. Not your name...
She said putting her hand to her chest. She acted very knightly as usual and though she promised to treat him like a man it could be expected she couldn't help but treat him like her baby nephew when she saw him...

Saffron frowned as he explained to her that he wanted to keep their hugs and emotions a secret. It was hard for her because her family was all she had. She didn't know how to shut down her feelings around them.

As a professor outside the campus I don't really see a lot of Magi and he really knows better than to pick on me. But as for the teachers with some of the lesser known names...I kind of worry about them, y'know? I think he thinks he's allowed to treat them however he wants. I think we should start documenting some of his behavior...He's seems a little more vindictive in the year than in past years...Or maybe I'm imagining it...

Yeah some students tried to stand up to him on my behalf and wouldn't listen to my subtle shut ups. Hey need a punching bag? That would be a good excuse not to go right. A trip the infirmary.
