Hobbies:
Sewing: Holden loves crafting; he’s made a great many of his own clothes, especially since he loves to be ‘a little glamorous’ - so while his family is well to do, you can expect that a lot of his funds have been sunk into particular fabrics and all the other accouterments that go into his projects. He’s even designed a few of his Brother’s costumes and shirts and tailoring things for his friends when he can.

Painting: Holden is very crafty by nature, he enjoys painting, especially the challenge of watercolors, and while it’s in no way something he can claim heritage too, he has a deep fondness for Japanese watercolor. He enjoys the simplicity and the need for precision in the brush strokes.





Virtues:

Creative -- If you need something imagined, Holden is an excellent place to go. He loves doing almost anything craft related; designing and shaping things that work or fit are his favorite ideas. He even helped paint a few murals for friends and local Charities.

Loyal -- He’d do just about anything for people he cares about; he supports them to extremes. He pins posters of his Brother in his fighting costumes all over his room, sews ‘power shirts’ out of custom fabrics for his best friend. He’s even provided the occasional cover story to keep his friends out of trouble with their families.

Kind -- You can Count on Holden to be the sort of person to feed every stray animal between his home and school or work. He wants to see the best in everyone, though he knows that isn’t always possible. He’s been hurt in the past by leaving himself open, but he tends not to talk about those moments, focusing as best he can on the good points in life.


Flaws: e.g.

Distracted -- Holden lets himself get distracted easily; if it’s not something he’s personally into, you can count on it being rather hard to convince him to apply himself. His tendency to be distracted does mean he’s at best average in most of his school grades and even more indifferent on things like working in the Gym.

Anxious -- He has a propensity to overthink many things, the more he lets himself worry, the more likely he is to start stuttering or picking at his callouses. The anxiety has been a great deal worse since his parents’ death, and while he tries very hard to be brave, he often thinks that the worst will happen, and it causes him to freeze.

Vengeful -- He may not be the bravest soul, but if you mess too much with him or his friends, he will find a way to get back at the people that hurt him and his. A few people know he’s tried his best to do more immediate revenge at least once and broke his hand doing it. So he tries to be much more subtle now. Sometimes the only clue that he’s had his way at all is a smirk.


PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION



Eyes: His left eye is a very soft grey, but his right eye is a deep chocolate brown.

Hair: Chestnut to black hair, roughly to his shoulders, He tends to pull it back into a partial ponytail to keep it out of his face. He owns a fabulous collection of hair combs and scrunchies for days he feels ‘fancy.’

Face: Somewhat babyfaced, he has cheeks that have never entirely lost their curve. He looks amiable and kind of soft.

Skin Tone: A sort of coppery brown skin tone.

Body Type: Short, a softer sort of rounded but not enormously so, his Brother wouldn’t stand for him being at least a little healthy.

Clothes: He loves dressing well, though his style is very fluid. Sometimes he wears skirts, sometimes dress pants and button-downs. His favorite jacket is when he and his friends turned up in a thrift store, an army green affair with sequin birds and stars on it.
